Can't really have map control with power weapons being on 2 minute timers. I love how you spawn right by each other on Abandon. Also I seem to constantly have the problem with enemies spawning right next to each other but, I always seem to spawn on the other side of the map from my team mate.

Guess What XBL Rewards Got For My Birthday?
l Xenoes l replied to FleshBack's topic in General Discussion
XBL is a better service then PSN and has an over all better experience but, Microsoft doesn't reward it's valued customers at all. PSN on the other hand constantly has free games for playstation plus and gives discounts for full games all the time. PSN is a free service where as XBL has a monthly charge and yet PSN is the ones constantly giving out free games and huge discounts. Something doesn't seem right here and I think Microsoft needs to look at what Sony does and take some notes on repaying their valued and loyal customers. -
I doubt the UNSC would ever go as far as trying to infect the covenant with a disease. That could turn into a genocide if not controlled or kept in check and I doubt that's something the government would even risk. Although I do wonder why the UNSC didn't use a Nuke until Halo 4. You think they would have tried to hit High Charity with a Nuke.

There is Doubles Pro but, you won't get it every single time. I doubt 343i is gonna switch it to pre-set loud outs cause then people are gonna complain about that too. I haven't come across people invising the whole time but, hoarding the power weapons yes.

No idea but, I would either imagine sometime in March or in April when 343i implements the CSR.

Be smart about the weapons you pick up. On levels you know there's going to be a lot of prometheans then pick up their weapons. Like the third mission for instance. Don't try to roll with the UNSC weapons for too long cause you'll run out of ammo quickly and be SOL. Don't always try kill every enemy. Can't count how many times I got through a fire fight by running through it an avoiding the confrontation. Patience is key with Legendary. The Knights are giant bullet sponges so don't confront them unless you know you have the fire power to take one down. The bolt shot is one weapon that is smart to keep on you because of Knights. Kill watchers first, then crawlers and then Knights. Support enemies are the first one that should be taken down like watchers and turrets. Also don't do the same thing over and over expecting different results. If you approach a fight and try something and it doesn't work don't re spawn and go do the same thing. The main points though I will reiterate, PATIENCE and avoid a fight if and whenever possible.

Yeah some people are gonna need a few drinks in them to enjoy this game lol

Would play this if I could get a big enough group of people to do so. On a side note, I wish Flood would be removed and regular Infection would return.

A movie was already in the works a long time ago but, it was cancelled because of budget issues. It would be nice to see this resurface but, I don't see it happening any time soon.

Only reason I'm replying to this thread is because I seen you avatar pick and read the title and I imagined Billy Mays saying the title and trying to sell some kind of product to increase your aim LMAO!

When I started to constantly see the same areas in the Spartan Options mission I was pretty disappointed in 343i. Using the same area every now and then is okay but, to constantly use the same one over and over and using areas from the campaign is just being lazy. To even go as far as using MM levels is messed up. Atleast they used the levels structures and gave them a purpose not just throw some switches in there and call it good.

If they added Multi Team I would have no problems with this game. Would look past everything wrong with this game is it was added. I preferred the version from Halo 3. Multi Team in Halo 3 was 4 teams of two and it was perfect. I still played it in Reach but, didn't enjoy it as much because of the increased team sizes.

The only game type I really get betrayed in is Grifball(For obvious reasons) and Dominion because of bad drivers who don't pay attention and bad grenade placement. I don't see why you don't get the option to boot people. Had a game of Oddball on Haven and when we all spawned I rushed to top mid and a team mate threw a sticky trying to get to the other side but, got me in the back and it gave me the option to boot. The betrayal system for this game is a little glitchy at times. Nothing you can really do about it. It's sad to still see people betraying for power weapons.

It would be cool to have a version of that shield instead of the hard light shield. One that allows you to use it as cover and fire from but, doesn't last as long as the hard light shield does.

The UNSC Sniper Rifle or any Sniper Rifle type weapon for that matter would never be added to the list of Loud Out weapons because of the amount of damage they can inflict from all ranges. This is why Team Snipers is a playlist. If they were able to be a loud out weapon then majority of the MM population would be using them.

Depends on the map. Bigger map then I'd choose the mantis because of it's mobility and being able to dodge the tanks shots while firing the machine gun and missiles. But in a close map I'd pick the tank because even though the mantis is more mobile then the tank being at close range the tanks shots don't need as much time to reach the target and you'd easily be able to lead your shots. Player skill is also taken into effect with both situations.

Carbine from Halo 2, Railgun once I learned how to effectively use it, and the BR from Halo 3.

The AR is in no way OP. It's the best AR type weapon IMO though. It has the ability to beat a player using a Precision weapon at mid range though if the person using the AR is smart enough. The only weapons in this game I think are OP is the DMR and Boltshot. DMR needs a slight damage nerf and the boltshot needs it's effective range limited and charge time increased.

Would be cool if the DMR or BR had like a bayonet at the end and when you assassinate an enemy with it, you stab them with that instead of the knife you carry. Would be cool to see a Promethean melee type weapon made of hard light or a UNSC variation of the Energy Sword. Doubt anything like this is in the works though.

Bigger map or game's where I know I'm gonna have a lot of 1v1 combat then I use DMR if it's straight up Slayer. Medium-Small maps I use BR or Light Rifle to mix things up and I prefer the BR over the others because of nostalgic reasons.

Yes that I'm fine with. But, not ALL the achievement armor needs to be offline/online unlock able. Some online stuff would be fine. That's for sure. A lot of the armor in this game is to similar to other pieces and it's really identifiable or stands out. The only real thing about a Spartan's armor that you notice is the Helmet, Visor, and maybe the chest.

DUST 514, the future of online gaming

One of my friends showed me this and it made me wish I still had my PS3. Looks pretty awesome and the online looked pretty smooth as well. -

What the government is trying to do is stupid. It won't stop people from getting these types of weapons, it'll just further encourage it and let people find more ways around the bans/laws.

If you want something you post to actually be seen by 343i then you need to you go halowaypoint.com That is the site actually ran by them. I don't see them fixing Flood though. It's been something that has been complained about since release and yet in not one of the bulletins have they said anything about fixing these issues. So I'm not holding my breathe on waiting for them to fix the issues with flood.
