Um, armor lock was one of the things that broke REACH. It took melee, sticking, and splatering ( some of the most fun things) and made them impossible. Also, the melee counter EMP was very broken. I think he's safe to say that your a noob.

Sure you can Juke out boltshot users. You can jump, you can thrust, you can jet pack. They can still hit you though. The reason a lot of people think the boltshot isn't inbalanced is because bad players are the ones spamming the thing. (Normally). I ROFL stomp with this gun, because I can tell if I'm within killing range because of the radar. A good player will adapt to certain players playstyle. If a guy jukes me with a thruster and thrusts to the left every time, I will know to aim to the left.I guess the boltshot brings a juke battle into Halo 4, If you use thruster pack ( thankfully, I do). If not then, well, just hope the guy sucks.

I do well with the BR, I do better with the DMR.

Its hard to say if the Carbine is UP. I do well with the gun, but I might just be that good

Give them all rocket launchers, then they will be usefull

Yah the gun is pretty IMBA. Your probably just good then

But, the Lightrifle is much much harder to aim than the other guns. Plus, the scoped lightrifle is 5-shot in the head, sometimes its 4 (Its Weird).

I think buffing the BR is the way to go. Perhaps with the buff give it the same amount of aim-assist as the DMR?

I thought the wraith was more powerful in this game?

The current argument for the DMR = BR is that the DMR deserves to be better because it has less aim-assist. The light rifle has the least amount of aim-assist out of all of the guns. But, the Light riffle is horrible when it's not scoped. It only seems fair that (in the current state of the game) the light riffle's non-scoped weapon is buffed.

Does any evidence support the DMR isn't OP? Of course! When I made the perfectionist part, I made it in the perspective in the other groups. The reason I don't want to bring the argument here is because I'm and a lot of other people are arguing the exact same things in other threads. It would be pointless to argue about it here, if you wanna take a stab at my opinions on balance, do it in the threads I'm arguing in.

Ok, if you get offended because someone on the internet puts you in a group then don't read this thread. In the comments below, I don't wanna see "I'M TOTALLY NOT LIKE THAT!" No I'm not going to be mentioning names, you know who you are. Ok first we're gonna hit on the majority. The " Butt Hurt Ones". These include the people with five posts for the first day and then never post again because they are done complaining. These include quotes like " TAKE THAT **** DMR OUT OF THE GOSH DARN GAME! OMG I ONLY WANT THE BR IN THIS GAME! THE GAME SUCKS CAUSE OF THE DMR!" I agree the DMR is broken but you can't take it out of the game. The "Butt Hurt Ones" Normally get mad cause they get killed by the gun a few times in a single game then come on to the forums to complain about that gun. Now, lets hit the "Purists" these are the people who wants halo 3 remakes every time a halo game comes out. Halo 3 is great I assure you but we would REALLY be copying COD if we made the same game over and over and over. The game has evolved, Halo 4 shouldn't be any of the other halo games, it should be Halo 4. Purist quotes a lot of the times are the following, "Armour abilities shouldn't be in the game OMG! Why are there perks!? Why are there FREAGEN LOAD OUTS! WE SHOULD ONLY START WITH AN ASSAULT RIFLE AND A PISTOL OMG!" As you can tell, dealing with Purists is annoying, again, you know who you are. Now we have 343s personal shields. The " Perfectionists". These guys think everything in all of Halo 4 is 100% perfect. These commonly include the people who like the DMR and the Boltshot even though evidence supports they are both OP. I'm not going to bring the argument here and you guys won't either. There are already other forums burning with hatred towards each other. I'm sure someone reading this is probably like " OMG YOUR BEING SO MEAN PUTTING US IN GROUPS THAT SOUND BAD!" I remember lots of Perfectionist forums calling the others names like " The Nerf Squad" And making us all sound like dirty devil people who have no idea what they are talking about. Again, I'm insulting all of the groups, even the one I fall under. Here are some Perfectionist quotes " ADAPT YOU IDIOTS OMG THE BOLTSHOT HAS LIMITED RANGE SO JUST FREAKEN ADAPT OMFG THE DMR DESERVES TO BE BETTER EVEN THOUGH THE LIGHTRIFLE HAS LESS AIM ASSIST BUT THE DMR IS STILL BETTER!" The next group are the ones that put reason into there posts. Show some respect to this group, it's hard to get in here. Of course, I view myself as right and only trying to balance the game, but I could be wrong and I (you guys also) am too stubborn to admit it. There are some people in this group, so show your respect. I hope you guys enjoyed this post and attempt to identify the people and the groups they belong in. Hmm, maybe I've been playing a different halo than you guys. Maybe someone should make a vid or something to compare.

Do you know what this perk does? It says, "Use me! Or else your nades will be crap". And it says," Use me! Or else you will be nuked!" (What is with this double quoting thing?)You probably don't see the difference because everyone is using it.

This perk is forced on you. Since everyone uses it, it is a must have on all of your classes. Not only does it increase grenade effectiveness, but it makes grenades less effective against you. If you don't use the perk, then your grenades are useless and you can get nuked by frags. The perk itself is bad design and must be removed. There is no tweaking that can be done to help make this perk balanced. If it is removed, then they should not add a perk that also makes grenades better or worse. Because, then we would have to use one of those perks. It would be like the Juggernaut and stopping power perks in COD 4. You would have to use one or the other. If anyone supports this stupid perk, then let me know in the comments below.

Maybe give it good mid-range capabilities and make the charge up only break shields?
