  1. Many aspects of Halo 4 is undesirable to many players. Many players also love no radar, bringing a more tactical and careful game. Some people don't like annoying armor abilities like jet pack.
  2. He should marry a forerunner. That would be creative.
  3. Thats one way to make friends
  4. U know whats OP? The suppressor, it kills way to fast at point blank :l
  5. DMR, Bolt shot, frags, requisition, explosives
  6. I think we've waited long enough for the return of Slayer Pro. Oh wait....
  7. Armor lock was the worst thing about halo Reach. If it was brought back I would never touch halo 5 other than the campaign
  8. Most of the Storm Covenant are still crazed Forerunner worshipers, but their leader, Jul Mdama, is an atheist.
  9. Well the Sanghelli race is on the merge of destroying themselves. Perhaps Jul wants the Librarian to save them.
  10. The Assault rifle was UP in halo 3 and REACH so they decided to give it a purpose.
  11. Didn't I start a thread similiar to this?
  12. Actually the DMR kills faster everywhere. :0
  13. When 343 said ranked playlists were coming in April, it pushed me over the edge, I'm fed up with 343 not fixing ANYTHING in the first 3 months. The only thing they've fixed are a few glitches, they haven't fixed balance, they haven't fixed BS ordinance, they haven't fixed kill cams, they haven't even implemented something that I was looking foward to from day 1, waited for in this recent patch, and didn't release when they first made the game even though it was supposed to come with it, Ranked playlists, now I have to wait 3 MORE MONTHS!?!?!? I'm fed up. 343 has a team of 300, surely a team of 300 can be split into 3 factions. Lore, Halo 4, and Halo 5. Halo 4 should then be split into , campaign, multiplayer. Multiplayer should then be split into multiplayer balance, glitch fixing, and ideal matchmaking. So lets see how many can be put into blance. 300/3= 100-2=50/3= 16.66666666666666666666666666 rounds down to 16. They can have 16 people in weapon balance, they can handpick a variety of balancing thinkers to argue about common debates such as the DMR and the boltshot. Or, they could stretch it a little by then spliting it into debates, how many common debates are going on now? Lets see here, DMR vs BR, Boltshot, Fully automatic weapons having no place in the game, and power weapon balance. That makes 4 people to argue about debates, and to come with a conclusion that the DMR is OP. Or that Full auto weapons do have a place in the game, or that camo is UP or whatever. I'd think that a team of 4 professional game developers could come up with obvious conclusions such as the DMR is OP. If you research the subject, you should recognize its OP immediatly. My problem with 343 right now is that it seems that they're not taking advantage of their studio. Are 250 game developers on vacation or something? Because it seems like their whole studio except like 2 people are working on Halo 5. This is the reason I'm not happy.
  14. The reason I didn't include that it sucks is because I wanted to focus on which gun is harder to use, not on which gun sucks. I fully think the BR and the Carbine suck absolute balls compared to the DMR, but I wanted to avoid that part for the purpose of focusing on the matter at hand.
  15. APRIL!? I HAVE TO WAIT TILL APRIL?!?!?!?!?!? IM TIRED OF WAITING!
  16. The UNSC's projectile technology has advanced more than you've realised, In the prologue of Contact Harvest, the Insurectionists used modern day SMG's and the bullets practically bounced off of Johnson's body armor, showing that projectile technology has advanced by a lot.
  17. Nobody is more MLG pro than a boltshot spammer, in fact, it could be made a primary. Its what they use it for right?
  18. Perhaps this is because of previous experience with the BR in other halos?
  19. Now, we will discuss which weapon is harder to use overall, the DMR? Or, the Battle Rifle. Pros and Cons of the BR: The BR is a 3 round burst weapon with bullet power vs. shields = to 1/3 of a DMR round. Thus, if all rounds from the Burst connect, it is = to the 1 bullet of the DMR. The BR appears to have perhaps, slightly more aim-assist than the DMR, and has a wider reticle. However, in a typical fight, both players move back and forth while firing to make it harder for your opponent to hit you, unless your Ninja or something, you will probably miss at least 1/3 of the burst with the BR. The logic is simple, when an opponent is moving like this,, he will dodge part of your burst unless your reticle is following him the whole time. Now, this is harder than it sounds, when following an opponent with your reticle, he has a step in front of you, meaning, he can initiate a change in direction before you change your reticle's direction, so he acts first, you then miss a bullet. As you should know, the BR is 13 bullets to kill, last being in the head. Thus, a 5 shot. You then see that the BR has some "forgiveness" to it. But, if you miss a bullet in each burst, do you still have your last forgiveness shot? Lets count, 1st shot, 15-1=14, 2nd shot, 14-1=13. You now see that you can only miss 2 bullets to have your last forgiveness shot in the head. Missing a bullet in a BR burst is very easy to do, and very hard not to do if he is attempting to "Juke" you. Pros and Cons of the DMR: Slightly less aim-assist. Single Fire, high rate of fire, accuracy, low bloom, 5-shot kill. Now, if you miss a shot with the DMR, then there is no forgiveness, you will go from a 5 shot, to a 6 shot. However, with the DMR you only must land 5 shots, not 15. Lets say your opponent is going left, you then aim left at his head then start firing. Bullet connect bullet connect bullet connect, you then land 3 bullets on your opponent, he changes direction you then pump a shot at his head, but your reticle is away from him after you hit him, you then quickly re-aim and finish the kill. If you were fighting with a BR, at the point where he changed direction, you would've missed part of a burst. All this being said, I would have to go with the BR being more difficult to use. If you disagree, then tell me why. Know something I missed about either weapons? Then tell me about it! And I will research and take it into consideration. Thanks for taking the time to read this thread, and happy 2013! I wish you all good games, and good times.
  20. Well, this does appear to be a " Lets tell off the people who think there is an imbalance. YEAH!" thread. They're not supposed to be upset about balanced guns, I hope to the Lord that they should be upset about imbalanced guns. It appears there is a lack of argument on your part, so you then try to generalize things and say " we are not supposed to be upset with guns in the game" thus, attempting to appear correct, or winning the argument, on your part. Perhaps you should tell me why the DMR is not OP instead of just avoiding the discussion altogether.
  21. Since MLG didn't sign for halo 4, perhaps a CPP, Community Pro Playlist, it should start with the settings of Halo 4 MLG v1. You guys think this is a good idea?
  22. Arn't all guns supposed to kill people?
