  1. There is one thing that I do not understand about the story of Halo 4. Del Rio and his attitude towards Master Chief. I just don’t understand it. Master Chief is humanity’s greatest hero, the most decorated soldier in UNSC history. Last the UNSC had heard from him he had just given his life to stop the Flood and Covenant. He is a legend amongst both regular UNSC military forces and Spartans. I am up to speed on the extended Halo universe and there is no prior mention of Del Rio or any issue that he has with either Chief or the Spartans. He was put in charge of the Infinity because he good ‘manager’ which is something he, in no way displays in game at all. I don’t understand his contempt toward John, is it simply that he feels threatened, emasculated or envious of the respect Chief commands??? Did I miss something or is he just an idiot? At least he got his just reward for his contempt toward Master Chief and deserting him on Requim.
  2. As far as the Flood is concerned, i would not want to see them back. They were a part of the original trilogy, this is a new trilogy. Plus a large part Halo 3 is to destroy the Flood for good. If they can survive the firing of the Halo array, the destruction of instillation 04 and 04B alongside parts of the Ark. Are the unstoppable??? I do like Fred's idea though As far as the Arbiter returning though, it is a must for me. it has to happen. His and Master Chiefs interactions in Halo 4 were highlights for me, them fighting the Flood together back to back, the the Arbiter following Chief into High Charity, their landing on instillation 04B and nod on the Forward Unto Dawn. I think that they respect each other more than almost anyone else, Master Chief may even respect him near Spartan level. He is UNSC's biggest non human ally. Bringing him in would also add several layers to the story, even leading to and cement a permanent truce and partnership between the Covenant (or at least the Sangheili and those who would follow) and Humanity. You can hardly imagine that the Arbiter would be able to stay away form Master Chief upon learning he is alive, knowing what he could do for the Sangheili in the civil war. I can imagine that the Arbiter would not be too surprised to see Master Chief alive either. I am still holding hope that he will feature in Spartan Ops too before making a full return in Halo 5 and 6, especially after Dr. Halsey has come in.
  3. Master Chief was not given Forerunner DNA, his human DNA evolution was sped up. The Librarian said that she hid seeds of growth in humanity and that both Chief and Cortana, even Chiefs MJOLNIR armor. I think that the easiest was of putting it is that he is more evolved than any other human in the galaxy.
  4. I have liked Spartan Ops so far (the Episode videos are great) sure it has flaws, but moves the story along. I believe it will lead into/ give a glimpse of the Halo 5 story as the season progresses, but what do you think of how the story is progressing the characters? I personally think that there is a relationship/potential relationship between Captain Tom Lasky and Commander Sarah Palmer...... As far as the SPARTAN-IV i am not too sure....... They feel like marines not Spartans, which is right from a story side i guess, but i am not keen on them so far. I think that Commander Palmer is great, Thorne too and Grant is OK the other SPARTAN-IV we have been introduced to just don't sit right with me as Spartans though. They would not stand a chance if pitted against a SPARTAN-II, or SPARTAN-III for that matter ..... I hope that they progress as the story moves along. But what do you think to the characters we have been introduced to so far in Spartan Ops?
