Yeah it's really inacurate, i've been stuck in the face with stickies and the kill cam shows the guy didn't even throw a nade 0.o the animation of throwing a nade was shown but no nade actually came out of his hand, also i got beat down when a guy with a jet pack decided to land on me and the kill cam showed him punching the wall beside me, i checked in theater after and he did actualy backsmack the crap out of me.
  2. i have plenty of friends to play with but they all feel the same way as me about one sided objective. i prefer 2 flag, it's alot more active, 1 flag is passive for the defeding team, i like to move around the map, i like to get into the thick of things..with 1 flag it feels like i'm forced to stay in that one spot because nobody else does, they try and rush the enemy spawn and end up dead then i have 4 players rushing me with maulers and swords..bleh.. granted the Mauler isn't in this game but that was a comon problem on high ground and isolation in H3
  3. Draw, that's what i do, i draw a square on a piece of paper and then draw random crap inside it, honestly it works for me lol don't think about what you re drawing, just fill the empty square with random crap
  4. I do like it, but i would like to see more variations on slayer to be honest, i'm working on my own gametype right now called "Insanity Slayer" though the game type custom options leave much to be desired
  5. Yeah you need 5 minimum to complete the first phase of that comendation
  6. In forge the SL is an intiial drop with a respawn time of never, i have yet to see it appear beyond the initial drop

Join in progress is a god send, Halo has always beenthe worst for quiters, out of every FPS i have played..no players quit more than halo players and the worst thing about that is it was more noticable in halo because once someone quit that's it..you were a man down, atleast now we get a replacement member

    i still don't get how people can get 75k exp in just a few hours 0.o it boggles the mind, i probably don't have as much time to play as most so i know that contributes to me not hitting the cap once since i started playing but just a few hours..that is pretty insane, i get what..2500-3k per game..more if i complete challenges but i do not go out of my way to complete them.. i went from SR19-24 today and that was enough playtime for me, i didn't hit the cap at all..i don't know how you guys do it lol

  11. Nothing wrong with a feast of vehicles so long as the people who didn't end up getting one have some way to deal with the ones that did, otherwise it's onesided and unbalanced
  12. 0.o i have played Halo since CE..just because i don't like a particular gametype due to my experience in it i should go somewhere else? i hate ALL one sided objective games in ANY game that has them, not just halo..they are called one sided for a damn reason..because tha's how they always end up
  13. 1. no, i would prefer they would not reset but if they do i'm not gonna cry about it 2. Yes..what's the point if it's not visible in game? 3. hell no, it should be based objectively, being a team player Win/Loss is no different than halo 3..people who don't really deserve the rank get ranked up from being carried..if you want this to reflect skill then it needs to take EVERYTHING skill worthy into account, Assists, K/D, flag caps, flag defences, hill time, ball time, average life and so on..no vehicle kills, no splaser kills or rail gun kills or sword kills or anything cheap. if you ignore all that stuff and just base it off of win/loss then it's pointless in it even being there in the first place

  15. the cap is 75k right? that's what i read somewhere anyways..how are you all possibly hitting this cap in such a short time? i have not hit that cap once yet..granted i probably don't have as much time to play as you guys do but if you can get 75k in just a couple hours..then you could essentialy have your base 50 and all specs to 10 within a week...kind of makes me understand why the cap is there in the first place. so yeah that's a no from me
  16. If that's how you use a br then you're doing it wrong, give yourself a bigger target by shooting the body 4 times, you only need one shot to the head after that..no sence trying to make every shot a head shot, this is how the BR has been used since halo 2
  17. The forge maps were the best, i agree..but i for one do not miss having to manualy interlock..that got frustrating really fast..

That actually does happen, Duke nukem forever had a crap load of people playing multiplayer on launch day..the next day..not so much lol granted that game was garbage but it does happen! it's is also a common problem with MMOs, i know these are two completely different genres here but the MMO crowed is just as dedicated as the FPS crowed

    The whole instaspawn thing needs to go from swat for sure, how are you suposed to get an exterm when the person you killed first has respawned before you even killed the second guy?

The reason people sprint around with shotguns in CoD is because they can kill you form 30 feet away..you need to be really up close and personal with a shotgun in halo, if the shotguns in CoD required you to be right in someones face then everyone would camp in CoD, i mean come on..the 1887..might aswell strap a scope on the damned thing it can destroy you from cross map. as for the sniper rifle, i would say Halo sniping takes a greater degree of skill that CoD, not saying CoD takes no skill at all but you deffinately need for skill for halo sniping. Halo sniper rifle 2 shots to the body on a fresh target to get a kill 1 shot to the body on a weak target to get a kill 1 shot to the head to get a kill CoD sniper rifles: 1 shot anywhere to get a kill (providing you have a higher grade sniper rifle or a perk that increases damage) there are no perks that increase damage in halo, You either have skill and aim or you leave the damned sniper rifle alone, the only edge CoD had over halo in sniper skill was being able to hit a faster moving target..with the introduction of sprint in halo, CoD no longer has that edge. now..i guess someone might bring up the point of no scoping in and quick scoping in cod the cod games themselfs teach you to snap target in the tutorials..it's a game mechanic that carries over to multiplayer, have your reticle over the guy you want to shoot and snap targeting does the rest of the work when you "quickscope" as for no scoping i agree, that does take some skill as the reticle in cod is pretty much non existant where as the halo sniper rifle has a big fkin circle you can use. But over all the halo sniper rifle takes that bit more skill than CoDs to use
  21. I have to admit, what i have seen from my FL today is pretty alarming, i built my FL off of Halo..so 90% of my friends list are Halo players..but today i was the only one playing Halo 0.o one friend of mine said he prefered BO2..and he has always been a major Halo fanboy

Well, Reach and H3 didn't have a join in progress system that's why you never got thrown into part way games, There will always be quiters..always..no amount of EXP penalty or whatever is going to stop that..if someone is going to quit then they quit..atleast this way we get a replacement team mate so we don't end up in a stupid match where it's 5 against 1 I prefer it this way, however it would be good to have some kind of system that makes fresh lobbies a priority, for exampe if there is a fresh lobby availible while you search..you get thrown in that, you should only get thrown into a part way game when there are no fresh lobbies available, right now it just seems random wether you get a fresh lobby or not..also a good system to put in place would be that quiters have the game they just left marked as a priority so if they start up a search before anyone gets thrown into thier spot..they get thrown right back into the game they just quit out of

I would like some color schemes or skins for objects, as of right now..the style of the object depends on the style of the map..some skins would be pretty awesome so we can give our maps a unique look. i would also like to see all unique objects be made available across all maps and i would also like switches, i know we can make switches in forge due to the phisics but i mean real working switches for doors etc.. you can still do that, hold right trigger and move the left stick, it moves you closer and further away..it's not as good as the actual zoom but it's still there
  24. I concider the mantis to be OP, that's why i removed it in my rebalance. I hoped in a mantis and had 2 warthogs and a ghost charge at me..i destroyed all three..i would call that OP as hell, and in this case vehicles will not draw people out, why would you leave the safety of cover if you have no anti vehicle weapons to risk it for?

I have always hated 1 flag, In halo 3 it always followed the same route 1 flag CTF on high ground, lets camp it. 1 flag CTF on valhalla, lets camp it 1 flag CTF on pitt, sword and shotty sitting on flag 1 flag CTF on pretty much any map takes it that same way..it gets old real fast..short of the flag being in a wide open area the gametype is pretty much made for campers
