Post your fond memories here, of early Halo 3, Halo 2, Halo CE. I remember Halo 3, got it that Christmas along with my Halo edition xbox... Listened to my new Blind Guardian CD. Every time those songs play im hit with the sudden urge to play Halo 3 campaign, or have memories of it What do you have?

And for the "he's not a machine" thing: you really thought he was a robot? Even without reading the books (which is always much appreciated), i could have imagined he wasn't an emotionless thing killing everything to save humanity.

I broke down and started using the Operator one.. im always driving the warthog for my team, so why not? got a few road trips under my belt and almost never flip loving the almost no EMP

I've never had a urgent issue with teammates. The only problem I have is that some of them don't know how to drive a warthog properly and how some people like to run off with the warthog, regardless of who's trying to get in the best available seat.

I would have prefered to see some of the other Spartan-IIs to greet him at the ending however. I think Kelly, Fred, and Linda are all alive still. Maybe not Linda.

Maybe like a salute? that would have been nice, or incredulous look and a half salute and he just walks past before they can salute

I randomly stopped getting XP. So I thought it was the stupid cap that needs to be removed, and came back the next day. But im still not getting XP. Ive done nothing wrong to get an XP bann. What the heck is happening?

Lockout should be automatically included in every halo. And Guardian is the next best thing. These arena type maps always promoted heavy clashing fun! Especially in free for all gametypes.

Headlong along with it, great for BTB and one flag, assault, and just a battle :3

yeah im totally with this idea. a bunch of infected AI's of infected humans and covenant comming after you. it also has to take place in multiplayer maps as well. Not just maps made specifically for THAT certian gametype like firefifght.

I liked the ending. It showed MC's growth, symbolically demonstrated his weariness, his acceptance of the fact that he isn't just a machiine with one purpose, and the vulnerability exposed by the loss of all he held (personally) dear. It was also a legend being revealed to be human, as all the "new and improved" Spartans watched in obvious awe to see what was under that mythic armor. The Didact's voiceover added more gravity to the questions left unanswered, particularly what is the Chief now, what will humanity become, and are we truly the saviors of the galaxy or its gravest threat.

Give use a massive ROOM with deletable floors, walls and ceilings, to reveal a choice of a water floor and then nothing around, maybe some scenery. Or choice of Space (Like impact but without the shinanigans ) and maybe even a flood like area with the flood mist back from halo 2

Im at SR 70 and can't seem to use more than wetwork or Operator. Annoying, don't see why others are higher and I am stuck at this level! I paid for a full game not half!

 

they are releasing a code to all players who played before November 20th, this will allow you to continue, everyone else will rank up, just wont be able to choose which spec they want next

make a guest enabled free for all, make a free for all. Do the same thing with Regicide. This will eliminate having in game boosters while you are trying to play, but if you are playing with a guest.. deal with it. and then also with the markers showing you are #1 in the game... well Free for all it

I'm an Halo 2 fanboy. That game really pushed the franchise to a whole new level along with the competitive scene. Now alot of people don't mention the glitching of the primary tool of choice, aka BR, also had an impact in the multiplayer experience. For instance, BxR and Double-shotting were deemed 'cheating' and 'unfair' until it became routine for most players engagements, pro and noob alike. It was like playing extreme rock-paper-scissors-dynamite-lava-kitana-whale-si (the guy from Duck Dynasty). The game was so competitive and so unpredictable. Thats what made it a GREAT game.

 

Now we have no glitches other than jumping into walls on Zombies. Other than that the game is practically pure. Except for the instance of the DMR. I enjoyed using the CC as well as the BR, so I'm not biased when it comes to choosing between Semi-Automatic styles. I know the DMR is powerful weapon, but it doesn't have a real drawback. Bloom is practically not there, whether at close-mid-long range. It performs equally in all ranges. Thats great but it also means the arrival of custom loadouts with multiple range SPECIFIC weapons is kind of...retarded & pointless.

 

I think the BR functions fine. It's perfect in nature or at least in the nature of a gun of it's personality. It has great mid range capabilities that decrease over distance as any 3 burst weapon would in real life. The DMR does not function this way. I would like to see the DMR's capabilities at close range decreased via any method will do honestly. It really shouldn't be a close range capable weapon in my opinion.

 

In conclusion, skill has not been needed since Halo 2 - FACT. The DMR is not overpowered, but overCAPABLE - FACT. A small alteration to the DMR is not the end of the world - FACT. I don't see it being game changing. What I do see are two Primary weapons with different situational uses (BR being close-mid range, DMR being mid-long range). Sounds pretty even I think.

Exactly! Like they said countless times, Chief needs to "discover his human side". And I know the helmet never revealing his face is what has made him so iconic, but at least a small glimpse shows us he's not just a machine.

I keep getting stuck in the lobby while my friends (whom in in a game with) get to play a match or two (today they played 3) while I sit there and get to sit and look at the lobby and all the players in the game, (can view my loadouts, all that, service records, commendations)
