I totally agree, I loved them showing a bit of John. I mean how many games have we played with Master Chief? We knew this game wasn't going to be about the Chief, it's about his humanity. You can't write off the guy in the suit when your trying to show his human side, right? Plus he seemed to have more personality in this game... Which is what 343 was aiming for I believe.
