Also his speech at the end talks past tense to all the events of humans expanding through the galaxy. This is the age of reclamation, humans are reclaiming the galaxy. They were not during the first battle with forerunner.

Well having watched the terminals again I noticed the ship is similar to the cover of halo:primordial. I seen a similar ship at the end of halo reach and in early halo 4 concept art. The terminal video occurs after firing of rings so where and who is it?

Halo 4 did not make much mention of the crashed ship from the anniversary terminal. This ship was not covenant or human known, clearly it could still be intact on the wreckage of the ring. With research being done on the other rings maybe halo 5 could involve this some how.

I agree. It makes sense that he is in another realm. The forerunner may have vanquished themselves into the digital real,matter firing the halo array, he was left behind obviously. The forerunner have no way of returning from that realm...so far.

I do not believe he is dead. I believe all forerunner are in the digital realm which is mentioned that they were trying to do to achieve eternal life. Falling into the composer beam transported Didact into that realm. The speech at the end is spoken past tense to events of humanity expanding and his punishment is more so for assaulting and trying to prevent them again. One of his lines says they are in the "dark" while humanity expands and claims their achievements as their own. Humanity was not expanding on purpose before and the forerunners were not in the "dark". They cannot leave the digital world without disfiguring themselves which is why they would be in the "dark"

Requiem level there is a broken covenant terminal that cortana asks chief to use. Its just a *** elite saying didact, she then tells you the covenant have been trying to get in for 3 years.
