I'm unsure how to feel about this ending. Why did are beautiful little AI have to die? I mean ever since the first Halo it's been them 2. And game by game, people just died off (Like that Sergant Major guy in Halo 3 for example) and I think his last words to us was to take care of Cortana. Then this Campaign all the way through just felt like it was inevitable what was happening and seeing her suffer, and god when she says she is sorry in her soft voice my manly heart just melts. Now she is gone we have nothing, no one. It's just us as Master Chief now, he has no one. There isn't even a shed of light on what the future holds, it just feels like a long wait of anguish.
