Where everything is in reach's engine, but the damage is tuned to reflect halo 1. 3 shot pistol kills, grenade damage, etc. Make it a part of reach for people who want to relive the old days. Think it'd be doable?

The only reason i'd pay the high dollar is for multiplayer online. Heck they could leave the graphics as is and id still pay 100

So after posting my previous thread with hopes for the new remake, I've done my research and realize that I must have sounded like a broken record.. A ton of posting has been done all across the interwebs wanting what I want, but I can see that 343i's outlook is that they want to stick with reach's engine for the multiplayer. Let me just say, that as a halo 1 diehard, if anyone were to make a clone to Halo CE with only the addition of online multiplayer, and everything left the same, I would be willing to pay alot of money. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Call it 60, the price of the new game.. done. I'd pay 100 dollars. Past that it'd get questionable but I hope my point has been made.

343 Industries, I first want to thank you for taking on these challenges. I have high hopes for your future games.. I dont expect to see these suggestions responded to, or expect that my opinion matters, but I hope you might see this and consider it. I'm not sure what you have planned for this remake, but I know that I will be an extremely happy man if you simply take the game, add multiplayer, and clean up the graphics. (reskin if you like, as i understand there will be an option to switch to the old graphics).. My number 1 concern is that you will change multiplayer. I am terrified of that. I want to relive the glory days, and I feel that if you change ANYTHING from the way it was in the original, this remake will be a waste of time. I want 3 headshot pistol kills from halfway across the map, etc. What im saying is.. please do not change any physics or damage tables from the original. I garuntee alot of people will be happy if this game is exactly the same, with better graphics and multiplayer. You dont have to make this game anything like the newer halo games.
