Almost sounds like some broken cache issue causing a failure to load required resources. That or similar. Is the game installed on the hard drive? If so, might be worth deleting the installed game and letting it load directly from the DVD. If that does nothing, it might be worth clearing the 360's file cache, in case something there has become corrupted and is blocking the loading of resources...

I'll post this here as well, since I've still had no response to this whatsoever in the 'Issues being investigated' thread on the Waypoint forums: A friend of mine (doesn't use a PC or forums), seems to be having major issues with Halo 4 career stats updating online. His Halo 4 career on the Waypoint site is clearly showing the number of Spartan Ops games he has played, and in his Spartan Hub in-game he is on SR-8, has a custom loadout, custom armor and emblem. However, his XP is not registering at all (still on 0XP) and he is still shown in default armour in-game and is given no choice of loadout on game start. Naturally, having only just got the game, finished the campaign and started Spartan Ops, he's not very pleased. Can this be looked into and fixed please? His Xbox Live Gamertag is: Wolfguard Elite --- The fact that this sort of thing is happening at all is bad enough. However, the complete lack of a prompt and satisfactory response on the matter is simply making things far worse than they need to be. It's worth 343i bearing in mind that fixing a server issue, however bad it is, pales into insignificance compared to 'fixing' your customers perceptions of you. Quite frankly, I think it's about time someone at 343i manned up and took responsibility for sorting out these ongoing server issues and the synchronization issues they cause once and for all. Although I agree in essence with what you say, just one small clarification: Your character is not called 'Crimson'. That's the name of your fireteam; Fireteam Crimson, same as the other being Fireteam Majestic. It's just a fireteam designation allocated to the 'team' that players (solo or co-op) are members of for the sake of story.

They're not creating this stuff on a weekly basis. You already have it. It was on disk 2. The only thing 343i do each week is unlock the local episode content. Eventually, they will need to create new episode content (probably bulk downloaded in a DLC) when that is used up though.

Biggest issue I have presently with Spartan Ops is the repeat use of maps and the amount of button pressing. Lack of immersion in some cases doesn't help. 'Pelican Down' was a good example. I mean, how much more difficult would it have been to include a small cut scene of your pelican being hit and including a crashed pelican at the initial spawn point...? Saying that, it would actually be nice to see yourself being flown in and dropped off and picked up again, rather than all this fading in from black and out to black. I realise that it would add a bit more time to the start and end, but this is supposed to be a story...
