Yay! I got the first shout-out Also, I've been stumped twice xD You should make a menu and ask to get it pinned (ask a mod to do it) so that people will be able to browse your shout-outs once you get more of them done.

Bruce Lee. Obviously not lol Yes it can. "Chuck Norris is a fairy." lol Chuck Norris and I are buddies. We taught each other everything we know, making each other the two world's most efficient killing machines/calculators. I'm partial to the Taco Supreme. Go with what's cheaper. Two guys walked into a bar. You would think the second one would have avoided it after watching the first one.

Well, you are banned now, but hopefully you can still read this. Staff positions are not handed out just because you want them. If there is a position, and you are worthy of it, you will be asked if you would like it. There is no other way to become a moderator/staff. The stories you hear about members getting staff jobs a month or so after joining are simply because for that month they completely excelled in their given jobs, and an opening was available. Most of the staff have actually been members for quite some time, and most of the moderators even longer. I don't mean to be offensive here, but do you HONESTLY believe you deserve a job as a staff member? When there are so many members more experienced and qualified than you? You've been online for a cumulative total of THREE DAYS, and you have posted a couple of news stories here and there that were basically copy pasted links, and you think you are more qualified to be in the News Group than members who have been on this site for over a year now, and have written many articles on happenings around the globe, as well as helpful tips, answering questions, and doing their utmost to make everyone else's lives on the forum just a bit easier ever since the first minutes they joined? Honestly, I've spoken to you, and I think you are a pretty fun guy most of the time. I don't know what the hell has come over you now though. I can literally name at least 10 members more qualified for a staff position than you. Off the top of my head. If staff/mod positions were given out just because people begged for them then nearly the entire forum would be staff/mod.

Red, but you are also partial to black. A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck. The Cretaceous-Tertiary Extinction Event was the largest non-nuclear explosion to every happen on Earth (it created the Gulf of Mexico) however the largest explosion on the earth created by a single weapon that was NOT nuclear would be the FOAB, a bomb designed to have the power of a small nuclear device without the radiation fallout. The bomb yields the equivalent of 44 tons of TNT. The answer you are probably looking for would be the Heglioland explosion, which was when the Royal Navy detonated 6,700 tons of leftover WWII ordinance. However, this would be incorrect, as the actual largest man-made conventional explosion is a test known as "Minor Scale". Minor Scale was when the United States detonated 5,000 tons of ammonium nitrate to test what a small nuclear device could do to military equipment at certain ranges. The explosion itself was non-nuclear however, and greater than Heglioland by the equivalent of half a kiloton of dynamite.

^ Bingo. Also, I'll put this nicely. 343i will not directly tell you what they WILL ban you for. They will tell you what you ARE banned for. There is not a list of "things that will get you banned" that has been officially released by 343i. The closest thing is a FAQ that was released by Bungie about idle boosting and such back in 2011. "Well how do you know this?" Quite simply, the only way to tell if there is a way to get banned is to try it out. As a matter of fact, I just got done with a one month credit ban for the very thing we are discussing a week ago. One of my friends whom I was doing this with, on the other hand, got a two week matchmaking ban. One of my other friends got the same, but for a month. And where there is a month long ban, there is a half a year ban (i.e. 6 months). "Why would you do that?" To be able to answer people's questions about the banning system for Halo Reach. Because I like to help people. Not because I care about my k/d, or because I wanted a higher rank (I'm fine with Noble and a 1.2 something), but because people had questions and I wanted to be able to give answers. And yes, I do have multiple silver accounts that are code of conducted all to hell because of this, and have been console banned from matchmaking for three months during the Halo 3 days also for this reason. "Well I don't believe you because I k/d boost by spawn camping objective games and I haven't been banned!" Yet. See, that's the funny thing about the Reach ban system. It doesn't usually get you right after your offense. It usually gets you when you least expect it. Don't believe me? Ask someone who's AFK'd in firefight then got rank reset a week later. This is also one of the reasons people swear up and down that they "didn't do anything wrong". It's because they thought they had gotten away with what they did wrong. If you still don't believe me, get a team of four people willing to be banned together and try it out yourself. Also, on a side note, the spawns in Objective are set up so that the team can go after their flag, not so you can sit behind their spawn and continuously press right bumper for a beat down spawn kill over and over, so technically it's "exploiting a known or unknown glitch in the game to affect the outcome of the game" and is a breach of the terms and conditions of X-Box Live and can get your account permanently banned from XBL if you are reported for it.

Occasionally in Halo Reach, if you switch weapons very quickly in the later part of a reloading animation it will fully reload your weapon instead of you having to wait the remaining time to fire. This glitch is because of lag, so it won't work if you are the host or have a perfect connection to the host. However, it will work around 50% of the time if you are lagging a bit.
-
You will be in Objective games, because the goal of the game is the points, not the kills. You do not get banned for this in a normal slayer gametype. And in most objective gametypes on most maps, there are two types of spawns. A "home" spawn, where your flag is in your base, and an "away" spawn, where your flag is being held by an enemy, or is away from your base. The home spawns are diverse, and so it's difficult to get spawn kills, but the away spawns (for some reason or another, probably an oversight) have your team spawn in the exact same location after every death, making it very easy to spawn camp, and nearly impossible to escape the spawn camp if the opposing team have power weapons (e.g. Sword, shotgun, sniper, rockets, etc). Because of the nature of these spawns and the gametype, taking advantage of this is considered "cheating" and is a ban-able offense. And it's not just a credit ban either you have to worry about either, you can get banned from playing matchmaking for up to 6 months for this infraction. Being banned from matchmaking is usually reserved for serial offenders, however.

It's gone from black to white to blue, so it's not like it is archaic. Heck, the change to blue was relatively recent. lol I like this color, it's easier for me to see text

Personally I agree with the article. I remember back when BXR first became popular in H2 people would RAGE when it was used. Then in Halo 3 there was the RYY glitch, derankers, and CRAZY HLGing that ticked people off to the point of breaking controllers. The reason that people look back so fondly on the multiplayers of these games is because, quite simply, all of the reasons that people used to rage have gone away as players that used these glitches have moved on to the newer versions. That and some of the glitches have become so common that they are used anyway and have become a regular and forgivable part of gameplay. Overall, it seems that each new Halo release so far has gotten better in some ways, and worse in others, so it makes sense for Halo 4 to follow suit. The day that Halo reaches it's "perfection point" is the day that the series dies for good. When they make the perfect game, any sequel thereafter is going to be a blatant copy of the previous one with minor alterations that are barely even noticeable (like other FPS games on the market). The way you enjoy a game is by being able to take the bad with the good. True, this is harder on the Multiplayer players because the Campaign has several things the Multiplayer lacks, and thereby more chances for good to be taken with any bad involved, but it's not too difficult to do. In short, we've suffered through the rage of modders in CE, controller glitchers in H2, rank boosters and map glitchers in H3, and armor lock, spawn trapping, and several other things in HR. We've seen the worst of the worst. After Reach, Halo can only get better, in my own humble opinion.

Did you know that a MAC slug is more than ten meters from end to end, weighs 160 metric tons, and is capable of destroying the thickest Titanium-A plating that the UNSC has yet been able to manufacture?

Well, 53 days = 3180 hours, so 3180 hours x 6 = 19080 km north of New York. Which would leave you nearly South of New York because the world is only 40,075 km in circumference, btw. lol

Assuming the balls are the regulation weight of snooker balls, and assuming the force used to strike the balls remains constant, then using N=kgx(m/c2), then they would touch each other at least once (with one ball not touching others excluding the white ball and one ball touching three others excluding the white ball) with appx .06 Newtons. Well, the most technologically advanced Aircraft Carrier is still under development by the Chinese. They are restoring an old Soviet AC (the Varyag), and are adding new advanced technologies to it. One of these technologies which they have hinted at is a shipwide computer system that will assist with targeting, launching and landing aircraft, and avoiding being targeted (ECM jammer and other countermeasures). This system has also been hinted as to being an Artificial Intelligence as well, making it one of the most advanced AI's in the world at the current moment, and the most advanced technology in place on an aircraft carrier thus far.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Hours and hours spent into playing that game through multiple times. If the last man in the line sees two black hats in front of him, he would know his hat is white, and say as much. His silence tells the other two men that at least one of them has a white hat. With that information, if the middle man sees a black hat in front of him he would know for sure that his hat is white, but if he sees a white hat he can’t say anything. His silence thus tells the first man that his hat is white. He dies. Very old chemistry joke lol

I didn't miss either of them lol They are famous, but the other ones were either considered scourges or became War Monuments. I figured that the ship that sank the Hood should be more famous than the Hood itself, and I was also trying to diversify. xD

The U.S.S. Missouri aka "Old 'Mo" was where the WWII surrender documents (the ones that ended the war) where signed, The German Dreadnought Bismarck which was a source of sheer terror for the British for quite a while in WWII and became the subject of the largest Royal Navy ship hunt in history, The U.S.S. Arizona which was sank at Pearl Harbor and to this day elicits quite a bit of emotion from WWII veterans and is now a war memorial, and the largest battleships ever built the Yamato and Musashi were significant simply because they were the biggest battleships in the water at the time and because of how difficult they were to take down. That's a top five for you, and based heavily on my own opinion. Because you don't know how crappy Wikipedia is at giving information. And because you don't believe that I am as smart as I am. Also, you underestimate how much time I've had on my hands in my lifetime.

Stronghold: Kingdoms Platform: PC The Director's Rating: 6/10 In this game you play as a founder for a village. The goal of the game is to become as powerful as you can, and eventually become ruler of all around you. This game is an MMORTS, and available for download (for free) in Steam. It is similar to Evony, except it's a bit more complex. This game features a chat box, an in game messaging system (inbox), and some decent gameplay. This game is similar to most browser games, except it's not playable in your browser. It is free to play, and allows you to pay into the game to get a one up over your competition (like other browser games). You can control multiple villages (based on your in-game "rank") and can take on vassals, as well as become a vassal. In essence, it's a castle defense/smash the castle type of game. Combat: This game is mainly you vs an AI, however there is also a P2P element to it as well. The more troops, the better your chances. You can also get more advanced troops that specialize in certain damage types (pikemen, swordsmen, archers, etc.). You can scout out enemy castles to give you a heads up to what you are up against, and then put your troops in an advantageous position for an attack. For defense, you can build walls for you castle made out of wood or stone, and can put several defense structures (e.g. ballistas, oil pots, killing pits, etc.) to assist your chances of surviving an assault. You can capture enemy castles, and can have your own castles captured. If all of your castles are captured, you have to start over. Missions:This game is still in it's beta stage, so there is only one mission (scout out a resource), however they have promised more missions to be added in the future. Synopsis: This game is a beta-stage RTS castle defense game. The cooldown timers on actions make it a "wait and see" game as well, which is kind of annoying. It's massive multiplayer (and I do mean massive) makes it an entertaining game to play if you have some downtime. The Director's Recommendation: This game could definitely be better, but then again it's in the beta stage. I recommend picking it up simply because it's a great way to pass a few minutes or so per day, and it's free to play. If you have a recommendation for a game that I should review, then let me know in the comments (I follow all of my threads ;D). Remember though, if it's a hyped up game then I won't do it. "Lesser Known" is in the title after all. Hope you enjoy your time in the world of games. Wanna see the others? You should stay And I like that song. Try to glass as many planets as possible. Just for fun. They don't necessarily have to be inhabited either. Well, first I worked out so that I would have a "Hot" body. Then, I got ice inserted into my veins so I was "Cold-Blooded". This made me slightly warm, so I refrigerated myself for 16 hours until I was "cool".

No problem. I'll have the details thread ready sometime tomorrow. (Also, could you lock this now, I got the general info I needed from it) Thanks for your participation everyone. This has been really informative, and has answered a few "what should I do's" for me.

Did you know that the Halo Installations use Localized Gravity Field Generators? And did you know that the ring's gravity only affects about .26 miles above it's atmosphere? The reason for this is because if the ring's gravity met in the center, then it would tear the ring apart and form a Sphere.
