Helping with World Hunger - Totals and Targets
The Director replied to Lᴜᴋᴇ's topic in General Discussion
We've beat 50k already! Now for 100k! -
It's just you. I don't hear Morrowind. lol Plus, even if the beat is similar, as long as it's not the exact same it's not copyright infringement. That's why spoofs are common.

It's rather entertaining. Plus, it feeds people!

Every time you answer a question correctly, there is a little banner ad. It's placed where you can see it, but not to where it's that noticeable. From showing you the ad, they make enough money to buy the rice. I'll put a screenshot up in a bit.

Well, not all of the Elites agreed with the Arbiter, or even look up to him. Some blatantly despise him, and other just despise what he stands for. The Elites are similar to humans in that they have quite a few different opinions, they are just more direct with how they voice them more often then not.

Yeah, that's bad. But not that bad. ****ing Painkillers. Playing that game on easy without cheats was hard. Playing the game on easy with cheats was fun... up until the final boss, who seemed undefeatable. I still, to this very day, have not figured out how to kill it. Other games that made me rage: Dark Souls, Ninja Gaiden II, and Resident Evil IV.

So, there's this site some of you may have heard of. It's called "Freerice.com". For those of you who haven't heard of it, this site uses ad revenue that it gains from you playing a rather simple game to donate rice to those who need it. For every question you answer correctly, they donate 10 grains of rice. This adds up rather quickly, and is a nice way to do some good and pass the time, especially if you are bored. I myself have already donated 1900 grains of rice at the time of this post. It also allows you to brag to your facebook friends about how cool you are for giving food to those who don't have any. The game is rather simple as well. It gives you a word, and you pick one that either means the same thing, or nearly means the same thing. The difficulty increases as you answer questions correctly, but you can bring the difficulty back down if you feel the need to. You don't have to click the ads, you just have to play the game. For every question you get right, 10 grains of rice are donated. No surveys, no personal information gathering, no scams or tricks. 10 grains of rice doesn't sound like much, which is why I'm raising public awareness of it. If you and 10 friends answer one question, that's 100 grains. If 100 people answer 1 question, that's 1,000 grains. If 1 million people answer 10 questions, that's 100 million grains of rice. As you can see, it adds up fairly quickly. All you have to do to donate is go to freerice.com and answer the questions for a while. This site isn't blocked in most schools, and may not be blocked at your work. You don't even have to create a profile to donate. The profiles are so that you can keep track of what you've donated so far. In case you can't read it the picture of the website 1. This is where you keep track of what you've donated. 2. This is where you answer questions. 3. This is a little graphic representation of what you've donated so far. 4. This banner ad only appears when you've answered a question correctly. It's what pays for the rice. See? *the text below this states [sponsored banners displayed on correct answers pay for the rice donated]* 5. These are blogs, player activity trackers, and news stories that are related to hunger. Here is a thread started by Luke to keep track of the totals of forum members as well. http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/10772-helping-with-world-hunger-totals-and-targets/

For those of you reading this post, there are a lot of people who are waiting for achievement help. I'm only one person, with only one X-Box, and a limited time per day to help people, so if I haven't gotten to you yet, be patient. I'm doing my best.

They can be entertaining, however their fur causes me to sneeze, which I do not like doing. So, kind of. This can be many things. Perhaps you are in a "funk" which is a normal part of life where your body adjusts it's levels of hormones to try to keep things "normal". Or, perhaps you just need more iron in your diet. Or, this could be an early warning sign of depression. My suggestion is to cheer up, take some iron supplements, and work out a little each day to increase dopamine levels in your body. Muriatic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda should do the trick. An interesting side note, the FeCL molecule is one atom of Iron with three atoms of Chlorine attached to it.

My rank is so awesome that it's not even included in this post! HAH! -
For those of you interested in purchasing Minecraft for the X-Box, don't take the demo as the game itself. The Demo is a bit limited, and not nearly as entertaining as the full game. That said, Minecraft is by far one of my favorite games for the X-Box.

In Halo 4 they SHOULD know English, because they did in Halo 3. However, it's a safe bet that not all of them do, or will revert to their native tongue during combat. They didn't in Reach because it was a prequel to Halo CE and they didn't speak English in CE.

The Xbox... Key to the gamer's soul
The Director replied to ThERavinGPixiE's topic in General Discussion
Well, mine is a standard black X-box 360 Elite second generation. I use the Dr. Who background on it, because it's my favorite british tv show. I also have it connected to my laptop so I can watch movies on my television. Also... FIRST! -
There is a webcomic called "Fistful of Arrows" which explains what happened to Jun, however it's not officially canon as of yet. There is not official story of what happened to Jun, simply because a lot of the people who love canon don't regard Halo Reach as canon.

It worked for me with my girlfriend. lmao She knows that I love her, but I have my addictions. xD
