Edgeworld online strategy game cortana rip off?
The Director replied to Adam91's topic in General Discussion
There are hundreds if not thousands of these ripoffs on the internet. Most "Awesome MMO" games that are in fact browser games have no originality in their conception. Why people play them, and pay to play them for that matter, is beyond me. -
I think it means Lazy Mark. lol That's what has always popped into my head when I read it.

What other type of vehicles would you like to see in halo 4
The Director replied to GruntNoober's topic in General Discussion
I want to see sort of a Halo 4 version of Star Wars Battlefront 2's ship to ship combat. I'm willing to bet that it would be far more intricate and probably even better. I would also like to see a Falcon that isn't solely dependent on teamwork. Yeah, it packs a punch when it's full, but when it isn't it's just basically a flying chaingun. I know they took off the cannon that was on it in the Campaign for "balance" but I believe it had the opposite effect and ended up making it another one of "those" vehicles. By "those" vehicles I mean not the first vehicle you pick, but if it's there you say to yourself, "eh, why not?" -
Seriously though, they even have KOTOR ranked out of the top 10! Wtbmn?!?! And where's Dues Ex? One of the first multi-storyline games? The inspiration for Dragon Age, KOTOR, and Mass Effect? Didn't even make the top 50. :/ The even have KOTOR ranked ABOVE Dues Ex. -.-

The 3000 Post Barrier Has Been Broken, Again!
The Director replied to Mr Biggles's topic in General Discussion
Congrats and thank you for the shoutout! I'll be joining the 2k post club here soon. ;D -
lol I don't like the coloration, but Theorix's looks the best and appears to be more versatile (can change colors easiest and still look as good). So, theo gets my vote on this one.

do you prefare the covenant or the forunners
The Director replied to noobsgrimreaper's topic in Halo 4
I'd rather fight the covenant's full force than the forerunner's full force any day. The covenant are exponentially weaker than the forerunners. -
Top 5 Aliens Races That Want To Kill Us
The Director replied to Smokin Shadowz's topic in General Discussion
Problem with your list is that The Covenant and The Flood would cream the crap out of the Locusts. -

Source: http://www.oxm.co.uk/42844/minecraft-xbox-360-update-autosave-patch-gets-a-launch-date/ Good update, but with the duplication glitch fixed I won't be able to complete my skyscraper. Needless to say, I'll be playing offline for a while lol

Whats Your View On The New Enemies In Halo 4
The Director replied to GruntNoober's topic in General Discussion
I can't wait to fight them. They look more challenging than your average baddy. Especially since some of them can throw your grenades back at you. -
Rumor: Xbox 360 To Get Internet Explorer
The Director replied to Archangel Tyrael's topic in General Discussion
It definitely would be cool if they let us choose different browsers. However, I'm not sure if Chrome is compatible with a console. xD -
Problems That Need Addressing in Swat and Snipers.
The Director replied to The Director's topic in Halo Reach
That's a good idea. I hope that they have something like that in Halo 4. Ranked and unranked playlists are boss. And I like the division rating system more than the +1 exp for a win thing that was in Halo 3. A 1-50 rating system would be better for the division ranking rather than colors though.- 24 replies

Yes, there is going to be a forge. One of the guys during the multiplayer reveal accidentally gave it away that there was going to be one. He said they couldn't talk much about it though. So it's confirmed, but there is no info out on it.

A month or two, give or take. They were actually originally slated for an update earlier this month but ran into complications with the coding. They are trying to make the update so that people can still play on their old worlds after they update (which means that previously saved worlds will not be updated). However, since it's apparently complicated to do it in such a manner, they may just update it normally.

Well, Lenin ruled to his death, and did so rather nicely. It would be interesting to have been able to see what Lenin would have done with WWII, but I honestly do think Russia would have been better off keeping Lenin than having Stalin take over. Stalin made Russia a military superpower, but he also made Russia quite a few enemies and he also made it with one gigantic weakness. He made it dependent on him. A lot of older Russians like to say that communism was birthed with Lenin and died with Stalin. To answer your question bluntly, no I don't think things would have been fine and dandy if Lenin had outlived Stalin, but I do think things probably would have went better for the average Russian.

The sticky does more damage in a larger radius and can stick to people, the frag can bounce off walls but doesn't do that much damage. Killing a vehicle with a sticky is pretty easy as well. I'd have to go with the sticky grenade.

Multiple areas. We were the artillery version of a QRF. Most of our action was actually near the ****stan border, where our patrols spotted Taliban infantry attempted to reenter the country. We were in this base that I forget the name of at one point, chillin like we do when we aren't busy, and we went to go get cigarettes. In the shop, there were two guys, a cashier and what I think may have been his manager. The cashier had an AK-47 and the manager had an RPG. He was henceforth dubbed "RPG guy". He's a pretty funny guy. If you ask some active duty marines who have been to Afghanistan they may be able to remember the name of the place, but I really can't :/

There WAS Halo though... lol They made the Halo 4 announcement at E3. With the live stage Demo and the live action trailer, along with allowing MLG to play the Multiplayer so that we could get a sneak peek.

Welcome back, and to me E3 was a bit disappointing. Thankfully, Microsoft and 343i made up for it with the Halo 4 announcement.

They DO look more reptilian now than in previous Halo titles, but they always had scales. The scales covered their Chitin, giving them a bit more natural armor than an average arthropod. Perhaps what we are seeing is a disease that's spread through this particular type of grunt that causes their Chitin to become thinner, giving it a skin like appearance. Idk, there are tons of ways to rationalize it but it is a rather drastic change either way. Not always. They made some major canon oversights with Halo Reach that could have been easily avoided with just a few date changes. That's breaking a massive amount of canon and then shrugging it off, leaving 343i to clean up the mess. Which they have, for the most part, in the datapads that are located throughout the game. With this they simply forgot something about the grunts, rather than forgetting everything about the story in the Haloverse so far. You might have overreacted a bit. ON A SIDE NOTE: To those of you reading this thread s266 is talking about the apparent species change of the grunts. They have been listed as Arthropods in the Halo 3 bestiary, which means they have a chitinous exoskeleton. This was apparent in previous Halo titles, however in Halo 4 the grunts look reptilian rather than arthropodic. S/he isn't talking about the armor configuration or the lack of a mouth piece. S/he is talking about the apparent change from arthropod to reptile.
