  1. Hey Azaxx, finished it for you Even added an extra Z for Zazz!
  2. This thread is to keep track of those who participated in the Minecraft Playdate. All you've got to do is participate, then post here that you did. Post it like this Your gamertag: The Server Host you played with: And that's it. You'll get your awards soon after the playdate's conclusion.
  3. They would call more doctors in to remove the doctor and take him to the ER while they continued to work on the patient. Why yes, yes I would. I'd have to say Mike Trout. Or possibly Matt Moore. They've got some good predictions going for them. Depends on the contents of the can. Also, I believe that Sound Intensity is measured in something other than decibels. My answer is "If you can measure it in decibels, then they would receive more than someone at 5 meters and less than someone at 25 meters" due to the massive amount of unknown variables in the question.
  4. Direct quote of the original preface of the 1896 edition of Alice and Wonderland, "Inquiries have been so often addressed to me, as to whether any answer to the Hatter's Riddle can be imagined, that I may as well put on record here what seems to me to be a fairly appropriate answer, viz: 'Because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is never put with the wrong end in front!' This, however, is merely an afterthought; the Riddle, as originally invented, had no answer at all." The reason never is spelled correctly in this preface is because a proofreader caught the "mistake" and corrected it. However, in 1976 Denis Crutch bought the original transcript that was sent to the editors, and publicly noted the misspelling. So yes, he wrote nevar, however in the books it was spelled never due to a proofreader without a sense of humor. The joke is that he put the wrong end in front while saying it was "never" put that way, pointing out that nevar is a misspelling of never and at the same time making a play on some elementary school jargon.
  5. Don't worry about downloading them right now. lol Those maps were two different versions for Beta testing. I've since changed a couple of things. The final product of the maps will be released this summer along with the new fileshare system by Waypoint.
  6. Yes, yes I can. With the aid of machinery. Yes. It was a gruesome yet hilarious thing to watch. Hope you enjoy it
  7. Yes, but only twice. That depends on which kind of pepper spray. Some are flammable (being oil based and whatnot) while others are not (being water based). Nope. You need to eat more.
  8. This depends on the size of the pillow and what it is made of. Depending on either, poisoning or death may ensue. Red Bull to keep me awake, Monster because it takes care of the shakes. And Monster tastes better imo. Depends on the size of the animal and your reaction time. If it's a rhino of average size and weight, and a human with average reaction time, then the odds of survival are 67.253635216% on the first charge. It lowers about 8.23727% with each charge thereafter. Because the riddle was originally written without an answer.
  9. Let me start by firstly saying that I'm honored to have become the June Member of the Month. As a matter of fact, I'm so honored that my brain has had an honor overload and is now in a state of severe "writer's block". I guess you could call it "Honor Lock". Bad jokes aside, I really am honored to have been chosen as Member of the Month. Thank you to those who picked me, especially Vitamin PWN who believed in me from Day 1. Or 2. Well, at the very least week 1. Anyways, special thanks to Vitamin PWN for being there as my "rage sponge", without him I would most certainly have been banned more than once by now. He get's a shoutout before the shoutouts! Now for probably the only part of this post you will read. The shoutouts. The are in no specific order, and are unranked. 1. Mr.DirectBiggles: A constant source of fun and amusement, Tim and I have had many an adventure in the Haloverse and the world of Minecraft. Many of those adventures either involved one of us carrying the other (me carrying him in Swat and him carrying me in Slayer) or us trolling each other or Gazzy. Poor, poor Gazzy. 2. One: Also a source of constant amusement, we don't play together nearly as much as maybe we should. While One is a "PC Snob", he's a fun member and a hilarious person. While we've had our times where we didn't see eye to eye (and made everyone else evacuate the shoutbox in the ensuing flame war), even that was a bit fun. Poor, poor shoutbox. 3. fzdw11 and SEKC TTBLSSH: The only two members to ever stump me in the Ask The Director thread. Also the two members with the hardest names to remember how to type. Congrats on your awards! 4. Choot 'em: A member I've known for a long time, and one of the most honored members of the forum. No shoutout list is complete without Mr. Hard Worker (aka Choot 'em). He was also the inspiration for the "Halo Did You Knows" thread that has been so popular. 5. Spectral Jester: Definitely one of the best members of this forum, Spectral Jester has been a moderator since as long as I can remember. Which isn't saying much because my memory is shot, but he's been a mod for longer than most members have been members. It's always a fun day when Spectral Jester talks in the shoutbox. 6. Bob: Bob isn't on much, but when he is he takes the time to get to know everyone as much as possible. Bob is well deserving of his Legendary Member status, having served so much time as a Mod that seeing his name not in gold or yellow would probably cause such a shock that peoples monitors would explode. Some of the best conversations I've had on this forum were with Bob. 7. Absolute Dog: Considered to be one of the best moderators ever to grace the forum, AD was also the only moderator to ban me. Twice. Although I deserved it (and would have banned myself, given the circumstances) AD was the only mod to actually do it. I think that's what earned him the "Tough Mod" award. xD I got my revenge in a few of the playdates, and consider AD to be a friend. 8. Father Bullet: A member who's hardly seen or heard these days, Father Bullet is one of the greats when it comes to members. While most of our communications are over XBL (playing minecraft no less), he's a friend to all. 9. Bobo Magroto: A member who I don't always understand, but never fails to make me laugh. I've acted as a translator between him and AD more than once, usually laughing so hard neither could understand me xD 10. theorix: One of the best Halo players of all time, theorix and I have had many an argument on the forums. Each of them were in fun, and sometimes turned into us tagteaming someone who did something they shouldn't have, but I consider him a friend because of how similar our sense of humors are. 11. Azaxx: This annoying Australian a**hat (Just kidding, couldn't resist the alliteration xD) is one of the reasons for me getting above 1000 posts and as many awards that I do. Our competition has gotten us both in trouble more than once, and is one of the reasons for me getting banned by AD more than once. xD But, it's gotten us both pretty high up the totem pole and has caused us to learn as well. So thank you for being inferior Azaxx. Otherwise I never would have gotten here. ;D lmao jk xD 12. GermanShepherdD: For being the best Halo Swat player on the forum and for being one of the most random people ever of all time. He comes on with his emoticon at very unpredictable times, and catching him when he's at his keyboard to ask how to get his award is like playing a mission on Reach LASO. xD Also one of the funnier members of the forum, I've never seen him get angry at someone. 13. Archangel Tyrael: A nice guy who is willing to help people who are in a bind. Playing Halo with him was one of the most fun times I have ever had on Reach. Even when we were pwnd at CTF by a bunch of J-Taggers (no really, went back and checked. 2 sniper spawns, 2 shotgun spawns, 1 rocket spawn, and one person with sniper and shotgun, one with sniper and rockets, and another with rockets and shotgun within 30 seconds of each new round, and all weapons with full ammo). We built some memories playing Anniversary. 14. Serene Mystic: When Mystic first came to the forum, she was all about Swat. Then she 1v1ed me in Swat and couldn't even come close to beating me. Even when someone else who wasn't good at Swat joined. Then we played a certain map and a certain gametype, and now she prefers slayer. I like to think I influenced that decision. xD Serene and I have had some great times arguing with each other about silly things, playing Halo, and discovering the easter eggs in the Anniversary maps. 15. EGYPTIANGHETTO: The member who makes some of the best signatures of all time, and the one who's made all of the signatures I've used while I've been here. Funny guy, haven't played Halo with him yet, but would like to in the future. Last but not least, Twam. The one who made it all possible with his Forum God powers. All hail the mighty Twam and may you bathe in the glory of his light. To anyone not mentioned, I'd still like to thank you. So, thank you. You being here is what keeps this awesome forum running as awesomely as it does. Give yourself a pat on the back. I am not sure where to put my customary MoM suggestion, so I'll just stick it here. My suggestion is that a link to the rules is put in the bar at the top of the page. Well, here's to the start of a journey. Let's make this month the best one ever.
  10. Thanks everyone
  11. 1577846.29968 times a year. In other words, 1,577,846 times in a normal year, 1582166 in a leap year. Yes. Hence the question format and question punctuation.Born, eat, poop, grow, eat, poop, grow, hunt, eat, poo, mate, possibly become pack leader, possible migration or territory expansion, hunt, eat, poo, die of old age. If you are asking about the life span, in the wild they rarely live more then 10 years, in captivity they can live up to 20 years.
  12. It's probably due to a firewall or pop-up blocker acting on overdrive then. Lol no I don't. I actually tried to find you to tell you it was no longer necessary because I had remembered an old debt. I just kept forgetting. xDAnd I found this site when I first tried to see what 343i was, back before it was widely publicly known.
  13. Halo Wars. And drive-able in this case means "controllable".
  14. Yes. The first one is pretty decent, so why not? Whopper. It's more meat for your money. The application crashed, presumably because the program operating it couldn't handle it (ie, you poor poor browser). Either that or the data of the application was corrupted. Couple of answers. Because the notes for which they are noted are not noted for being musical notes. Because Poe wrote on both. And the answer given by the creator of the riddle, because it can produce a few notes, tho they are very flat; and it is nevar put with the wrong end in front! That you have no permission to view the shouts. This is because you have been banned.
  15. Triple post actually lol And you are right in my opinion. While you got some of the facts wrong the core of it is the same. Bungie didn't want to do Halo anymore. They ended their story with Halo 3. That's why Halo Reach feels unfinished in my opinion. Maps that are sheer crap, made out of forge mode, then stuffed into playlists where they don't belong. To me the game felt like the last week of highschool. Reach was their last Halo game and they didn't want to do Halo anymore, so they threw together a story (blatantly disregarding previous canon), threw together some maps (literally), and threw together a game so that they could move on. It turned out to be a decent game, but it has that feel to it that they could have done better. The amount of glitches in the campaign and in matchmaking (see fails of the weak for these) compared to Halo 3 is downright insane. They were contracted to do six Halo games, and that's what they did. They had fun with Halo 2 and Halo 3, but it feels like Reach they were just tired of it.

    Killcams?

lawlnope. HLG doesn't kill from hiding spots. They kill, then hide. Also, I would like a "Game Winning Killcam" but any other sort of killcam I wouldn't like. If you need killcams to play well, then you shouldn't be playing. There are so many ways to find your opponents as there is (names over heads, bullet trails, motion tracker, freecam pointing towards enemy upon death, etc.) there doesn't need to be another one. If I wanted an easy game to play I would have picked CoD over Halo during the time of H3.
  17. Did you know that there is no mention in any Halo novels, movies, or games of Master Chief ever being paid?
  18. You mean the complaining worked?!?!?! Well, now to further complain until they add more maps and add some to Snipers as well!
  19. First, you have to be born from the egg of a Roc in the Rocky Mountains. Then, you have to undergo several grueling years of training. Then you have to have a duel to the death with your best friend and survive. Then you have to save the world at least 7 different times. Then you have to beat all of the Halo games on Legendary and have 100% achievements on all of the Elder Scrolls games that it's possible to have achievements on. Then you have to beat the mirror in a staring contest. Finally, you have to become an egocentric maniac. Or you can just go to school and learn how to direct films, but that's a different kind of director.
  20. My preference is on the Forerunner Raptor skin from Best Buy. I wish there was a way to get them all though. It's kind of ****ty for 343i to give so many different places different armor. Hopefully there will be a DLC or some-such later on that will include them all.
  21. Did you know that the Scarab has been featured in 5 Halo games, but is only drive-able in one of the Halo games? There has been many fans who have been asking for a drive-able scarab ever since it first appeared in Halo 2.
  22. It means "immediately" and it's based on the latin word Statim. Mount Vernon distillery, owned by none other than George Washington. That is an application error message. If I'm correct, that particular one is for Internet Explorer. Chrome doesn't have those messages. I don't really use the word "adorable", but it's cute. Definitely cute.
  23. 7k isn't much of a Super Jackpot lol unless there was a different one in which I didn't get the popup for.
