The Arbiter. I haven't fought HIM yet. lol WYR fight against Master Chief or Noble 6?
-
Free as in you don't have to pay money for it lol Also, the helmet itself only costs one credit after you purchase all of the other helmets. And shouldn't you be trying to reach the rank of Inheritor anyways? >.>

You know what bleed-through does? It keeps you from being a complete idiot and sprinting to an enemy for a cheap double melee. If the enemy is shooting at you, you should shoot back, not get closer so you can friggin PUNCH him. There may be a slight problem with the damage table for bleed-through at the moment, but the fact remains that it if you are close enough to an enemy that he can shoot and melee you, you should be able to kill him first. If he got the drop on you, that's YOUR fault. Look behind you, check your motion tracker, stay in areas where you can take cover if you need to. It's only a problem if you MAKE it a problem. There are far more important things for 343i to focus on than your little complaints about the "broken" bleed-through system.

Interestingly enough, I have been worshiped as one before. It started as a joke that quickly got out of hand and ended with a "congregation" of over 60 worshipers. o.o Were you one of them? lol

Sword Block has to be well timed. Well timed has no meaning when lag is involved. If you were lagging, and saw a guy lunging at you with the sword, then you are probably already dead and your X-Box just doesn't know it yet. If anything, it screws players who are lagging over even more when they get the sword. If you try to sword block when you are lagging, then you will fail unless you are lucky, however if you are sword lunging at a player who ISN'T lagging, then his sword blocks will be effective. This puts the lagging player at an even greater disadvantage when both wielding and defending against a sword. Also, even though a sword lunge in Reach is faster, it has a shorter range than previous Halo titles. Also I'd like to point out that sword block in halo 3 was only if both players were wielding a sword, which actually made sense. Blocking an energy sword with your elbow or weapon (things that this particular weapon was designed to cleanly slice through) doesn't. Even with shields. If it is a one hit kill when it connects, then why wouldn't it lob your arm off if you blocked it with your elbow? This is one of the things that bothers me about Reach. It's supposed to be a sci-fi game that is heavy on the sci, but Reach is more heavy on the fi. The fact remains that the sword is a power weapon. It's not a needler, a DMR, a plasma pistol, or any of the weapons that are common amongst enemies. It is a power weapon. Like the shotgun, the sniper rifle, and the rocket launcher. Can you block a rocket with your elbow and only lose shields? Can you deflect a sniper round with your weapon? Can you melee a shotgun blast into non-existence? No, you cannot. The only thing that can save you from those is if they miss or if you use armor lock. Which also works in blocking and countering a sword, I might add.

The Director replied to GODSABOMINATION's topic in Halo 4
Nice find. I kind of like that HUD, but it looks more covenant than UNSC. That might just mean that it's forerunner or something though. -
Mars. I want to be as far away from this planet as I can. WYR listen to Dubstep every day for the rest of your life, or have your life become a giant dubstep song?

I've had this argument over and over with my COD fanboy friend. He once called COD a "Halo Killer". My response was, "Only if the make Halo more like COD." And in some ways, with Reach, they did. And COD finally outsold a Halo game. However, you can't compare COD sales figures to Halo sales figures because with the exception of Halo CE and Halo 2, Halo is an X-Box specific title. People buy COD for X-box, PS3, PC, and even a few handheld systems. It's easy for a cross platform game to outsell a console specific game. As far as realism goes, does COD really win that one? In real life, one bullet ANYWHERE on your body WILL drop you unless it only grazes you. Even if you take it in the flak. On COD, you can waste an entire clip on someone and not get a kill. A knife in the COD world has more power than a bullet. You hit someone in the foot with a tomahawk or a throwing knife and they die, but a bullet in the foot is ineffective. In real life, there are no perks, no kill streaks, bullets have more killing power than knives, and vehicles do not explode when you shoot them too much. Halo, in it's own original way, is far more realistic than COD. See, sci-fi means that even though it isn't real, it is based on science and fact. MJOLNIR armor was made to resist ballistics, which is why it takes a few shots to drop you. The vehicles on Halo are fusion run, which is why they explode when they are damaged to much. You have power armor, which increases your strength which is why you are able to jump higher than average. You are wearing full body armor that is similar to a tanks, with an internal gel that helps protect against impact damage and assists with muscle movement so you are more accurate, and a shield covering every square inch of your body. To say that it isn't realistic because it's sci-fi is just proving that you are ignorant of what the word realistic means. As far as skill goes, you can become a decent COD player in a couple days with a bit of luck. With Halo, luck is spread VERY thin. In Halo CE, 2, and 3 spraying and praying won't get you very far. In COD on the other hand, THAT'S HOW YOU PLAY IT! There are very few aspects of COD that take skill, and even those who actually DO have skill in these aspects get killed by a lucky newb every game. COD is a good FPS, but it isn't even in league with Halo. Halo is the almost the definition of FPS. Everything that Halo has done over the years has been used by other FPS games to make their game better. The two weapon system, limited ammo and grenades, melee, health regeneration, and more have been incorporated into almost every FPS that has been released since Halo CE hit the market. Even COD uses the two weapon, health regen, and limited ammo/nades that made Halo CE stand out from every FPS in it's generation. Halo and COD are fundamentally different, and comparing them is unfair. Halo is Halo, COD is COD. A better comparison would be Battlefield vs COD.

iPad. It's overall more useful. WYR have them make the new xbox play 360 and original games, or have them make them available to download directly to your harddrive?
-
Depends, if we got it for free then the new x-box. Otherwise, Halo 4. WYR have Cortana as your girlfriend or the ghost of Pamela Anderson?
-
Leaving for a bit...not that I'll be missed.
