  2. When you do things wrong, people will be sure that you did something.

  3. See? Point proven. You post saying you are grateful for the reply, but didn't like the post.
  4. Not really. Not too many of my answer posts get liked, and even then rarely do they get liked by more than one person. Actually, most of the likes I get are from official posts or random posts in the forum.

  6. Okay, so it's pretty apparent that I'm going to have to explain to you not only how language works, but also how the human mind works at some length. Language doesn't form from thoughts, it forms from the desire for outward communication. If there were no need for outward communication among humans, then we wouldn't have a language, and we would think in terms of images rather than words. In other words, if you thought of a red cape you would think of the color red rather than the word red and the shape of the cape rather than the cape itself. Interestingly enough, this is evidenced by a type of Autism. Autism effects the persons social and communication skills to the point where the person doesn't even try to learn any languages. A decent number of them never do, either. Instead, they sit in their "own little worlds" and do things such as play video games or draw. This proves that they do have the ability to think, as such tasks would be impossible without that ability, without having learned any forms of communication. There are quite a few people who have Autism who are pretty gifted when it comes to painting or drawing as well. One of the reasons this may be is because they do not think with words like you and I do. They think with images. So when they think of a dog, their brain holds an image of the dog which they can then translate to the paper by drawing. When WE think of a dog, we think of the descriptive words for the dog and attempt to translate those to the paper using techniques for shaping.
  7. Only if it's okay with the driver. Thought does not require language, so obviously thought came first. The reason you think in sentences is because our brains have evolved to do so. Earlier people, those without language, thought in images or feelings. Similar to the way animals think. Nice try at a deep question though. The egg came before the modern chicken, because that's how the modern chicken would have had to be born. That being said, there is probably an earlier form of chicken that laid that egg. So on and so forth.
  8. I assume you mean the primary character of Kingdom Hearts and not the Searchable Ornithological Research Archive. Birds are awesome. Anyways, no I'm not jealous of Sora.
  9. Firstly, Marko Ragnos. Secondly, THE Sith Academy on Korriban. Secondly, I have logged over 300 hours into KotOR. The answer is Combat Matrix, Motor Function Matrix, Sensory Systems Matrix, Memory Matrix, Cognitive Systems, Emotional Construct Matrix, Creative Simulation Matrix, and then the droid shuts down it's core. If you mess up, then you need to have points invested in repair to reset it. More times you mess up the harder it gets. Once you do this you can either blow up the droid or erase it's assassination programming. Blowing it up is a dark side move, deleting the program is a light side move. Or you can skip the puzzle and just destroy the bot. *opens door, kicks your genitalia, shuts door again* If there is an unstoppable force, then by definition there is no such thing as an immovable object. If there is an immovable object, then by definition there is no such thing as an unstoppable force. So, they could not meet.
  10. We try pretty hard not to have religious discussions here on the site. Primarily because they all seem to turn ugly rather quickly. Also, I'm an antitheist, so Jesus Christ isn't my lord nor savior.
  11. Welcome back bagel of moistness who desperately needs deodorant.
  12. Lol well it had been posted. http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/38022-bloodline-gameplay-halo-2-anniversary/?do=findComment&comment=341028
  13. Heh. Thing about that though is that a lot of people busted on Halo Reach due to Noble Six being a non-specific character.
  14. Actually what I usually say is, "Ugh. They are talking again. I hope they start yelling at each other so I can ban one of them. Or perhaps two."
  15. Welcome to the forum. It might take a couple of hours to acclimate and learn the rules, but once you do I am pretty confident you'll enjoy it here. If you need any help with the forums, don't be nervous to contact a Community Moderator. Have fun.
  16. A lot of people sell their consoles and games to be able to afford the next gen consoles, especially so with the current cost of the new gen consoles. Which is the primary reason that we're seeing a lot of these remasters. That and if I recall, X-Box 360 games aren't backwards compatible with the Xbone. Which means that the people that do sell their 360's to be able to afford the Xbone might as well sell the games as well. Meaning that if the games aren't available on Xbone, then they won't be able to play those games ever again.
  17. Some bugs are harder to fix than others. Especially when your teams are working on multiple projects (in this case MCC and Halo 5). If I had to guess, I'd say the bug here was in the interaction between the DLC and the Achievements System, and those are very touchy ones. See, the DLC is the dev's code (i.e. 343i's code in this case) and the AS is Microsoft's. I'm guessing the unlocking of the achievements was sort of their last resort to try to fix it after several other attempts failed.
  18. Not really. It boils down to three things. 1. Being fair minded. To a fault, most would say. 2. Wanting to know more about everything. Any time someone brings up something I haven't heard of or enough about, I research it to the best of my ability. 3. A large ego, which gives me 'character' allowing me to be entertaining.
  19. You're under the assumption that I was killed. However, you didn't actually see me die. You see, I knew that Carolina and Church (Epsilon) were trying to find me. So, me being the master manipulator that I am, I created a scene which would cause my daughter to feel pity for me. This I knew would cause her to spare me. So I asked her for her sidearm and sealed myself inside the room. Phillis didn't know that there was an escape hatch underneath my desk (as it wasn't plugged into anything electronic and was a simple turn and push door) so if she was ever turned against me I could escape her clutches. I then escaped using this hatch, using the sidearm to escape the clutches of the UNSC. Also no I'm not a wizard, and that's classified.
  20. Depends on what I'm shopping for. Plastic for groceries. Paper for non-groceries.
  21. If you're using a safe-zone instead of multiple kill zones, then make sure that the safe zone goes into the floor.
