And if you haven't been paying much attention, then how can you possibly speak for the "core" or "true" Halo fans. On the other hand, though, the ranking system isn't as universally competitive as H2 and H3. This is simply because it isn't visible in-game. That doesn't mean the ranking system itself is messed up though, just it's visibility *TO SOME PEOPLE*. 343 Industries doesn't owe you anything. They make a game, release it, you buy it, you get the game. It doesn't mean that you have a say in how the game is played, it doesn't mean you become a developer for 343i, and it doesn't mean that they are going to custom-tailor the game for you. True, you payed for the Halo games. True, you put hours upon hours into them. However that doesn't mean you or I get any say in how they make future Halo games. What we get out of it is fun, or just a distraction from real life. If you don't want to play it, don't play it. If you don't want to buy it, don't buy it. If you want to leave the community then leave. But if you don't want to leave then I suggest you put up with the bad and look for the good. The parts of the game you enjoy. For example, I despised Halo Reach. But, most of the community played Halo Reach, and so I settled for Swat and Snipers.

This is actually a pretty interesting topic. There is such a thing as being over touchy. For instance, it's not usually common-place for men to touch each other except in moments of celebration (i.e. fist bumps, etc), and it's iffy on men/women convos. Also, some people just don't like being touched, or are picky about who they let touch them. These people will usually either let you know or look very uncomfortable. Other people think it's odd for people to not touch during conversation. It's a completely situation dependent thing, so I'm afraid you'll have to learn as you go. However, if you go by "when in doubt, don't touch", it should make things easier.

OP means more powerful than any weapon, combination of weapons, or tactic that your opponents can come up with. Most people thinks it means "it kills me a ton and I don't know how to beat it." Mantis can be taken out in less than a minute. Before it even gets any kills. Using basic spawn weapons that you can get by playing the game for less than an hour with no breaks. The obvious solution to something being OP is to use it before your enemy can. If you try to use it and get owned, then obviously it's not as OP as you originally thought it was.

Did you see THIS video? In it Halo4Follower says that the flood will be in Halo 4 and that Prometheans were in the teaser trailer (he didn't actually say Prometheans). He gets it wrong quite frequently, and sometimes simply pulls stuff out of his arse to keep his channel popular. As far as his "proof" goes, what he doesn't seem to realize is that the map devs can get to parts of the maps that he and his friends can't. Halo4Follower is an outside news source with no affiliation with Certain Affinity, Microsoft, or 343 Industries so the best he can do is pick up leaks and speculate. Point is, nothing is certain and don't get your hopes up for a new forge world for Halo 4. A new forge map as future DLC, maybe, but I think that if they were going to come out with an actual forge world they would do it in Halo 5, which is a ways off.

Actually I believe it was a mutual thing. 343i and MLG talked it out, and 343i wasn't happy with MLG's terms, and Virgin came to 343i with better terms. So, since 343i didn't match MLG's terms, they decided not to have H4, and the contract went to Virgin Gaming instead.

There were similar rumors when the X-Box 360 and PS3 were near launch as well. I doubt this one is any different from those.
