Possible Armor Upgrades For Masterchief?
The Director replied to GruntNoober's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
Might be. He got an upgrade from HCE to H2. So it's possible. I don't know if they'll all out change it though. -
Xbox 720 to Allow Control From Mobile Devices rumor
The Director replied to Dog's topic in General Discussion
Well, it would be pretty cool to get an actual qwerty keyboard that didn't make your controller feel heavy. lmao But for actually playing games? I lawl at the thought. -
Dastardly - Red Dead Redemption.

They weren't eliminated, just simply stopped. For now.

Granted, however I do believe he meant something like "it takes more skill to use than armor lock". Which would be valid. I am of the mind that armor abilities (with the exception of sprint) should be pick-ups rather than starters.

Landing 4 body shots is easy though. Landing the headshot is not nearly as easy, especially if both you and your opponent are strafing. SWAT, in this case, allows the player to become more familiar with the head's hitbox, and thereby learning (over time) exactly where to aim to nail the headshot. For some reason, the head's hitbox seems to change in every game (i.e. in H3 the best place to aim was the top of the head, in HR it was closer to the chin, and in H4 it seems to be just below the top of the head, nearer the visor), so playing SWAT will help an inexperienced player learn to get the vital fifth shot immensely. Of course, the players first couple of shielded games after their SWAT playing will **** because they'll be aiming for the head, but they'll soon learn that aiming for the body until the shields pop is the name of the game. Also, the worst possible advice you can give anyone would probably be something like, "If you like energy drinks so much, you should get an IV with them."

The last time I played Halo 3, it was capture the flag. I forgot the name of the map, but it was the one that had the flags on the elephants. I snuck around the combat to the other team's elephant, and instead of taking the flag, I grabbed the elephant. I then drove the elephant all the way across the map, still avoiding the red zones, to our elephant. Once I got close enough, we simply captured the flag until it was game over. It was hilarious the amount of crap-talk was heard in the post game lobby. xD This can be verified by certain forum members, but it was a while ago and I don't remember who those members were exactly. I think Archangel Tyrael was one of them. Anyways, the point of it is that the elephant isn't that difficult to steal, but once I grabbed it no one touched me. Some tried, but I had one teammate with me, and they got slaughtered by the turret. If they had any sort of teamwork though (the other guys on the team must have muted the ones with mics, because one of them was screaming about the elephant getting stolen xD) they would have easily overtaken us and got their elephant back. So it's easy to steal, but easy to steal back as well. It's not much of a stretch to assume the Mammoth would be the same way. I wanted to drive the Mammoth too. :/

Actually, it's a community forum. While it's obviously Halo related, there is a reason that there is an "other games" sub-section. That's because some people enjoy multiple games, and also play Halo. I would appreciate it if you did not attempt to alienate other members based on which games they enjoy playing.

Hello and welcome to the 343i.org COMMUNITY forum. We are not run by 343i or Microsoft, but rather the community. The official site for Halo is halowaypoint.com I'm sorry that your experience seems to have been ruined by a few bad apples, but I hope that you'll have some great games that make up for it soon and maybe stick around here to have some fun.

Well, anyways the answer to the OP is obviously, "no." As such, no further discussion is required. Topic closed.

^Don't listen to him. He's a bagel. And a sweaty one at that. lol Anyways, as far as BR tips go, try using it in short-mid range maps rather than long range (more often than not DMR wins in long range). Try decreasing your sensitivity down to 2 or 3 (this will increase your accuracy) and aiming with your left stick rather than the right (i.e. move your player rather than his head to get a better shot). Oh, and learn to jump shot. People hate jumpers.

Lmao But yeah, anyways, topic locked. There's already a thread for what you want in Halo 5. Here's a link to it. http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/22813-the-official-what-you-do-and-do-not-want-in-halo-5-thread/

Hello everyone. Most of you know not to repeatedly bump threads, as it is frowned upon and could lead to some pretty crappy consequences. Staff Response This subforum is for clan advertising and recruitment purposes only. Any other advertisements will be removed and disciplinary action may be taken. In light of some recent threads getting some attention, I have decided to make this thread for the new members who don't know any better. Many of you know the policy on spamming/flooding extends to the bumping of threads, and as such any thread bumps are considered fair game for such things as warning points and post deletion. The bumping of threads is not a serious concern amongst other parts of the forum, because the temptation to bump is offset by the rules regarding it. However, in this particular sub-forum (i.e. the Clan Recruiting/Advertising) the temptation is all too strong. This is mainly in part because of the slight competitive nature of recruiting new clan members. So, let's go over some don'ts about posting in this sub-forum. 1. Do not "bump" threads. 2. Do not post on a thread unless you are interested in joining the clan, wanting more information on the clan, would like to challenge the clan to a clan battle, or (if they ask for it) have a suggestion on how to make the clan better. 3. Do not spam links to your thread (or someone else's thread) in another clan's thread. 4. Do not try to take over another clan's thread for your own recruitment purposes. 5. Do not open more than one recruitment topic for any individual clan in a six-month period. 6. All recruitment posts must include the name of the clan being advertised in their title. Topics about searching for a clan obviously do not have this restriction. 7. This is a clan recruitment forum. We do not allow links to other gaming websites or communities, as per global rule 1F. You may post a link to your thread in your status or in the shoutbox, as long as you do not flood/spam the link. You may also post the link in your signature or "About Me". These are pretty self explanatory rules, and that is why they are not included in the general rules. In case you do not understand the reasons for these rules, I will now explain them. 1. Bumping your thread (or someone elses) makes the thread look unprofessional, and buries other threads. There is also the potential that if you bump, someone else may bump, and then you'll have to bump again, creating a "bump battle". This would lead to both threads getting locked and the members involved being punished, and the only ones who want that are the hammers. 2. This is covered with the rule against flooding/spamming. 3. This is to prevent that from happening to you as well, creating some bad blood and drama that really isn't needed. 4. Same as above. 5. This is to prevent the sub-forum from filling up with same-post threads that are useless and make everyone look bad. 6. This is to help players identify clans, and to enable us to moderate more effectively by discovering and dealing with spam clans in a timely manner. 7. Please review our rules page for more information.
