  4. 1. Well, Batrachotoxin is both a cardiotoxin and a neurotoxin, but it's generally classified as a neurotoxin. It's primarily been studied in animals (cuz ethics) but in these animals symptoms include fibrillation, arrhythmias, and cardiac failure which leads to death. It would likely take between three and five minutes to kill a human being (assuming the toxin were introduced directly to the blood stream), but we don't know for sure because batrachotoxin poisoning among humans in developed nations is rare to say the least. 2. It's not particularly potent, relatively speaking. However, the way the toxin works is that it binds itself to sodium channels in nerve and muscle cells, interfering with the electrical signals that usually travel through said channels. An antidote to batrachotoxin hasn't been discovered yet, but we have found out that certain other toxins might act as neutralizing agents. Hypothetically, at least. However, attempting to use a toxin to stop a toxin would only prolong the inevitable, as it is pretty much fighting fire with fire. 3. The molecular formula for batrachotoxin is C31H42N2O6.
  5. The things that make up you fall apart and are absorbed by your environment when you die. So technically speaking, you become a part of the world. Your body is consumed by bacteria and insects, which spread the molecules and atoms that you are made up of far and wide. As far as what happens to your sentience, well that would be telling.
  6. I'm willing to bet they release private matches as DLC or as some kind of microtransaction... like renting a server...
  7. Negative pressure is the literal opposite of normal pressure. To create pressure you have to force something into something else. For instance, an air canister. After forcing air into the canister, the air exerts force on the inside of the canister, trying to expand to it's normal 'size'. This force is called pressure. Negative pressure is the opposite of that, in which something forces something OUT of something else. Mind the word 'force', because if one were to simply open an air canister that would be 'releasing' the pressure. Forcing happens after pressure is normally released and the pressure within a canister equalizes with the pressure outside of the canister. If you were to keep sucking air out of an air canister, the pressure outside would begin to be more than the pressure inside, exerting force on the outside of the canister rather than on the inside. So if you were to measure the pressure inside said canister at that point, it would be 'negative pressure'. tl;dr if a container (where you would be measuring the pressure) is [ ] and force is < then [<>] would be 'positive pressure'. >[ ]< would be 'negative pressure'. >[<>]< would be 'neutral/no pressure'. 8. Stop tagging me lol it makes it more difficult to reply and it spams my notifications, as I already follow every reply to this thread. Anyways, if your Xbox is under warranty then it will probably cost you nothing. If it's not, then roughly $100 USD. You have to contact Microsoft Support to find out for sure though, and you have to have access to your Xbox 360 Serial Number.
  9. I don't live by a motto, I find them confining. Instead, I believe that every human life should be used to contribute to the advancement of the rest of humanity in whatever way possible, as long as the advancement in one area of humanity does not detract from the advancement in another area. For instance, an advancement in technology should not detract from the advancement of morality, and the advancement of morality should not detract from the advancement of technology. What kind of disc drive is it? Computer, console? Which kind of computer/console? Well, as you may know water molecules are attracted to one another (cohesion) and to surfaces (adhesion) by weak electrical attractions. So as transpiration (the evaporation of water from any part of the plant that's exposed to the air) occurs, it creates a negative pressure that pulls (or sucks) the water up the plant's xylem. This pressure is increased by capillary action. Capillary action is the movement of a liquid on a surface caused by the adhesion between the water and the surface. In the case of a tube, the adhesion is occurring in a closed off area, which also causes some minor suction. It's a combination of cohesion, adhesion, transpiration, and capillary action that causes the suction effect. Dude. Ash+Misty=4evr
  10. I once killed a dragon with sweetrolls. While naked and singing Trogdor.
  11. Well now that's Starburst and Reeses. I will probably end up spending more time on Fallout 4 at first, but once I beat it I will quickly catch up to time spent on Halo 5. Fallout 4 has an actual end, even though there are probably a thousand ways to play it, but Halo 5 I can play with my friends. No, I haven't played it yet. Not even sure I'm going to.
  12. I'm not entirely certain I understand the question. 'No worries', or what exactly? Depends on your drive, and what's wrong with it. If it's completely shattered and you've got to buy a new one, the price varies wildly. New ones are pretty expensive, old ones can be around 25-50 USD depending on where you get it from. If it's a software muck up, recoveries generally cost around 50-200 dollars, depending on whether or not you want to try to recover your data. Snapshots are more difficult with Sniper Rifles rather than Beam Rifles because of a couple of factors. The speed of the sniper rifle's firing makes it difficult to do the two-shot kill without having to move your reticle, but the beam rifle's firing rate is fast enough that you can usually drop an enemy with a body shot before they get a chance to move. A headshot with an unscoped sniper rifle is a tad more difficult than with a beam rifle because of the 'clunkiness' of the unscoped reticle. A common mistake people make with the sniper rifle is trying to aim for 'center head', which is a lot more difficult to see with the O ring than the > < of the beam rifle. Most snapshooters tend to counter this by aiming at the top of the head.
  13. I've only seen an episode or two, but I could swear I remember one with a time traveler who was a girl pretending to be a guy, so I'm going to say female. Especially considering the context of the question lol As far as where the 'real' John Titor is, I'm going to go with somewhere in the Eastern United States, probably in Tampa, Florida. This is because he claimed to be 'based' there and only an idiot would claim to be from somewhere they've never lived. All it would take is a couple of questions to determine that he hadn't either been to Tampa or been in Tampa for a long time. It's very likely that he had received a college education, or was in the process of receiving one in 2000. At the time we had thought he may have attended the University of Tampa, likely studying physics.
  14. I participated in a couple of IRC chats that were set up to determine whether or not this guy was actually a time traveler. We concluded that he was not. Oh my eyeballs... 1. Both, depends on whether I want peanut butter or fruity sweetness. 2. Tootsie Rolls 3. Laffy Taffy 4. I prefer normal tootsie rolls but also enjoy vanilla flavored ones 5. McDonald's cheese burger, but Burger Kings Whopper > Big Mac 6. Arizona Raspberry but Brisk Lemon 7. Tea 8. You kind of made an assumption about question 7, didn't you? ;D But if I had to I'd go with iced. 9. We don't know yet. Depends on which one is better for my son's bum when he's born. It totally reminded me of this
  15. I miss Halo 3's ranking system. I made like three years of gold and tons of Microsoft Points from selling 50's.
  16. Not really. All it does is fill them in enough that your disc tray can 'skip over' the damaged part of the disc without reading said damaged part of the disc. It's sort of like using Spackle on a chunk of drywall that's been dented.
  17. A guy who was posting on forums claiming he was from the 2030's in 2000 and 2001. He made a few out there predictions using very generalized language, and as a result of the language he used some claim that a few of his predictions actually 'came true'. However, these predictions were primarily educated guesses mixed in with non-specifics.
  18. R2-D2 and C3PO being hieroglyphics, Steven Spielberg as a tourist, the sound of the plane failing being the same sound as the Millennium Falcon going into hyperdrive, or the THX-1138 easter egg?
  19. Yes, it was a 10 page Lucas approved (but non canon) story called Into the Great Unknown. I wouldn't call it 'meeting' though, as Indiana Jones simply finds Han Solo's skeletal remains. There are quite a few Easter Eggs tying Indiana Jones to Star Wars. Most of these are certain characters being featured in the background (like R2-D2 and Princess Leia appearing in hieroglyphics) but there's a couple 'slap you in your face' easter eggs. Like the phrase "I have a bad feeling about this", which is a running gag in Star Wars, being said in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull by Indiana Jones. Or like the Shanghai nightclub in Temple of Doom called Club Obi Wan. In Star Wars there are also Easter Eggs that make reference to Indiana Jones like the Nazi tank on Coruscant or even Indiana Jones himself grabbing a seat during the podracing scene. There's even a preemptive Easter Egg in Empire Strikes Back, where Han Solo wears the bull whip on his utility belt (even though Raiders of the Lost Ark hadn't even been filmed yet).
  20. The most obvious question ever award goes to you, good sir. Force Storm. Kill them all, and if you're leveled enough kill them all with one hand motion. The ultimate in OP. Depends on the version you watch. In the '77 original release, Solo fires first. However, to make Solo seem a bit less like a scumbag in the '97 release they depicted Greedo firing first.
  21. Lol depends on which game you're asking about. With KotOR I usually go with human male sith lord. All other star wars game I try to get as close to that as I can.
  22. Salvatore Ferragamo Aiden tuxedo oxfords. Worth about $700. Charizard, Blastoise, Mewtwo, Lugia, Umbreon, and Espeon.
  23. Honestly depends on my mood. I find elk jerky to usually be more chewy than beef jerky (kind of like a meaty bubble gum) so if I'm feeling the need to chew on something I'll go for elk jerky. However, I usually like the actual taste of beef jerky more than the gamy taste of elk jerky. For Halloween lol Think of it as my 'costume'.
