Honestly, it's very difficult to get an Overcharge Headshot combo on an experienced player unless you are either lucky, or are experienced using that combo. And I've got more than a few kills with the good ol' Plasma Pistol in my day. It's a decent little weapon, if you use it right. In CE, much of the gameplay was spray and pray, and magnum sniping, which is the main reason the plasma pistol was more effective than it is now. Now, however, there are precision weapons that do far more damage in comparison which makes the plasma pistol look like a joke. You'd have to ask someone like Twinreaper, but I honestly don't think the PP damage tables have altered that much (in comparison to the AR, plasma rifle, and needler) over the years. The plasma pistol is mainly a shield eater, and always has been. If you overcharge and then spray and pray, you're bound to get a kill or two.

So I've been scouring the net, and I can't find anything coming from either Microsoft or 343i saying that the LE edition map pack doesn't come with the helmets and emblem. As a matter of fact, I've found just the opposite in posts by 343i employees and Halowaypoint moderators refusing to acknowledge this as truth, and saying things like, "Did we TELL you that we were going to change the LE? No we didn't." and such. So, where's the proof that this is happening? All I've heard it from is forum goers and youtubers, absolutely nothing from anything official. (Also, bear in mind, people with youtube channels who think that they are official are not usually official).

Maybe you should look at the last post on that topic... Here, I'll bring it to you. Now, let's dissect this a bit, because I know it's not blatantly obvious what snickerdoodle is saying here. Basically, the reason that Microsoft/343i didn't release a statement about the LE was because they didn't make any changes to the LE. The only changes that were made LE wise was that the included some of the things that were LE exclusive for SE buyers as well. So yes, you are still getting all the stuff they said you were getting (including the scanner helmets and such) because they haven't said you weren't getting that. The post you are using as your source is from a normal member, and actually didn't mention anything about there being such a thing as the "Standalone Map Pack" and the "LE Map Pack". And I have seen no conclusive proof that there even IS a difference except from some members who've heard it from other members who've heard it from other members who've heard it from inconsistent sources like H4Follower or a troll. Honestly, this sounds just like the "OMG THEY AREN'T GONNA HAVE RECON IN REACH, WHATRUDOIN BUNGIE?!?!!?!" thing that happened a month before the release of Halo Reach. :/

1. Definitely no for Multiplayer, and maybe for campaign. Unconfirmed though, so it's probably no (as Chief is usually a boots on the ground guy, unless he's dropping bombs on spaceships lol).2. It is possible, but unlikely as I haven't seen it in any of the videos. There's still hope though Glad I could make your day.

My suggestion is to post this on NeoGaf. This is a community forum, run by the community for the community. As a result, there are no 343i employees here. Also, they do not post on many forums, and NeoGaf seems to be the only one that they do post on, other than one or two posts by Frank O'Connor on Halo Waypoint.
