That's understandable. Well, there's no need to have a confrontation if one can be avoided. I suggest sitting down with your parents and discussing it with them. Be clear in your feelings on the matter and don't leave anything unsaid. Tell them what you like about him, what they might not like about him, and then ask them what they think. Meaning ask their opinions, not their permission. They may surprise you, but even if they don't it simplifies the matter. If they say they're fine with it, then it's all fine and dandy. If they say they're not okay with it, then you no longer have to just go off of a feeling you have about what they may think. At that point, it's then a black or white decision rather than some murky grays. You can either tell them that, while you value their opinion (which you have just demonstrated), you have decided to date this guy regardless of how they feel on the matter and that you hope that they are able to change their mind about him in the future, or you can simply give up on dating him. The latter of which is obviously the easy choice, but the former may be worth the extra effort. It's likely going to be difficult, but it is doable. All you gotta do is ask yourself if it's worth it or not.

Theoretically, yes. However in practice we've been finding that it's extremely difficult to see galaxies that are that far away. And that's galaxies, not individual stars. If we did actually see it though, I doubt much would happen with religion. They'll simply start saying that god created the universe with the big bang. Why would people think of you in a negative way if you were to date him?

I may not be understanding your question, but at face value I'd say because some atoms become cations. Basically, when electrons are shared between atoms the atoms involved become ions. When an ion gains electrons and a negative charge it's an anion. When they lose electrons and gain a positive charge they become cations. Well, the first thing you're going to need to do to figure out WHY you feel so shy around him. Are you shy because of him or because of the situation? Is it the man himself, or the commitment involved in dating him? One possible explanation is that if you guys have a stable friendship at the moment then your shyness might be because of that. Other guys, the ones you don't know very well, the relationships with them are not as real as one with this guy would be. So it may very well be that you're afraid that if you two date and break up, it will hurt worse than any other break-up you've been through. There are a couple of other things that might be causing your shyness, but you're the one who is going to have to find out exactly what it is. Once you figure it out then it's a simple matter to overcome it.

It's coming along nicely, but it was book first and then game. I'm about halfway done with the first book and have the outline of the supporting lore to that book, or the 'prequel' if you'd rather call it that.

It's polar because of it's shape. The hydrogen atoms have one electron each, which they share with the oxygen atom. Because they share those electrons with the oxygen atom, the electrons tend to stay close to the oxygen atom and the outside of the hydrogen atom tends to be positively charged. The oxygen atom has eight electrons. Most of those tend to stay away from the hydrogen atoms, and cause the outside of the oxygen atom to have a negative charge. Now, water is not linear like CO2 is. The hydrogen atoms are both on the same side of the water molecule, so that the charge is not evenly distributed. This is what makes it polar. The water is better at separating at a neutral pH because that is when the water is less 'cluttered'. The more things that the molecules are pulling on the less strength it has to pull. Video games, by far. Easy, Torricelli's trumpet doesn't exist physically. It only exists in mathematics and theory.

Yeah, I was pretty tired when I wrote that. I actually meant to write about salt instead of sugar. But yes, the water being polar separates the ionic compound because the + of the hydrogen and the - of the oxygen pulls the ionic bonds apart, eventually breaking them. The 'proper' balance of the water's pH is determined by how much the water has already dissolved. The pH should be 7, but the more that is dissolved the higher the pH will be, making the water less useful for breaking ionic bonds. Granted, there comes a point where you can barely even call it water and would have to actually call it paste instead, but still.
-
Yes they can be separated from their original compound. All one needs to do is put said ionic compound into water that has the proper pH balance. The water, being 'polar', will pull the ions out of the ionic compound and break the ionic bonds of the compound thereby dissolving said compound. This happens every time you put sugar into coffee or tea.

∞ It's rather difficult to narrow it down to only one band, but my current top 3 are Disturbed, Mudvayne, and Korn.

She would be likely to take it in the wrong way. If you two are close enough, you can always ask her if she'd mind if you added her on facebook. If you two aren't close, then it's best to not.

Well you're not anymore.

There are a couple 'free' ones, but those are primarily PUP loaders that don't work very well. The risk to your computer generally outweighs any benefit these 'free' capture softwares have. Fraps and Movavi are cheap and decent though. They aren't the best, of course, but they do the job. Fraps is $37 USD and Movavi is $50 USD normally, but Movavi is currently having a sale and offering their Game Capture for $30 USD.

Australia actually has varying climates due to it's size. The northern tips of Australia are Equatorial, just south of that is tropical, south of that is a mix of desert and grasslands, an eastern chunk of it is subtropical, and the southernmost tips are temperate. The reasons for it's climates vary, but it's 'hot' primarily due to it's proximity to the equator. There are other factors as well, but that's the main one. The reason that it's dangerous is because of the many species of fauna that live in Australia that have adapted to survive the harsh conditions and each other. A lot of the venomous predators are 'inactive', meaning that they can go extended periods of time without eating. So when they DO get an opportunity to eat something they have to make it count. Which is why they are so venomous. That being said though, Australia isn't more or less dangerous than any other continent. While it has some of the most deadly animals in the world, statistically more deaths via wildlife happen in other countries than they do in Australia.

It sounds as if he is a beta-type personality trying to be an alpha-type personality. Alpha-type personalities are characterized by confidence and aggression. They have a tendency to have lower expectations of others and as such have difficulty in following people that they do not respect. They also greatly enjoy being in charge, to the point of stupidity sometimes. Beta-type personalities are characterized by insecurities and passiveness. They have a tendency to be socially awkward and will follow the lead of nearly anyone who displays confidence, regardless of their level of respect for that person. They enjoy attention but don't have the confidence to gain it by normal means and will 'act out' in strange and unseemly ways. A beta-type personality that is trying to be an alpha-type personality is someone who will try to overcome their shyness and insecurities and as a result will usually overcompensate while doing so. They see the behavior of alpha-type personalities and try to 'one up' them, usually in very strange and awkward ways. The evidence of this is located in the fact that he is willing to do as you say without being a jerk about it (lack of true aggression), the fact that he cannot take a joke about himself in stride (lack of self-confidence), and the fact that other people describe him as a 'sweet boy'. That descriptor is generally used for beta-type personalities unless the person doing the describing is a parent. Well, actually the federal law regarding that is four years, but a lot of the states don't have age differential laws. For instance, if you live in California and engage in an adult relationship with someone who is 17 and you are over 18, you will go to jail. If you are 21 or older though, you'll be charged with a felony and your sentence will be quite a bit longer. The 'three year law' that you're talking about only applies in Alaska, Arkansas, and Louisiana. The reason for any outrage regarding these laws is that people believe that teenagers shouldn't be in adult relationships at all. These laws allow people living in certain states to bypass any criminal actions against them for what most believe is a crime. There is over a dozen theories regarding this, and I'm not going to explain them all because I'd be here for about a month. Each one of them has some merit to it, so instead I'll give you the names of some of them and allow you to research these theories on your own. The Big Crunch/Bounce The Vacuum Metastability Event The Big Rip The Heat Death of the Universe via Entropy or Black Holes (aka The Big Freeze) There are also theories that have merit that claim our universe will not die, or even if it does die it won't matter because there are multiple universes.

It's completely dependent on the person, but yes. It could be a sensitive subject that you just so happened to stumble upon, they could be getting offended at how sloppy your joke was, or your joke could have simply been very mean.
-
There's about three different things you could be referring to using the descriptor 'the 3 year law' so I'm going to have to request that you elaborate a bit in your question.

1. Black with white stripes. 2. Because if a stick of gum lasted you all day then a pack of six sticks would last you six days, meaning they'd lose quite a bit of money in the long run. 3. Ask if he'd rather do dinner first. That way you guys get a chance to sit and talk about yourselves and get to know each other a bit better before the movie. Well, I think the cheapest capture card for 360 would probably be the EasyCap USB 2.0 Video Capture Adapter, but it isn't anywhere near user friendly or the best quality of capture card. It's usually less than $10 USD though. As far as a mic/headset goes, my best recommendation would be to check on Amazon. If you can find one that works for both 360 and PC for under $25, then that's the one you should get. There are some really decent cheap headsets out there but most of those run at around $10 plus S&H and are either exclusively for the X360 or the PC.

For which system are you wanting to record audio and visual for? Xbone, 360, PS3, PS4, or PC?

I'd rather push than poke, because my fingers are jabby so my pokes hurt. The robot just wants hugs Melody. It wants hugs but it doesn't know how.

First, you have to understand what common sense is. It's the basic ability to perceive, understand, and judge things that is common to nearly all people. Something that is 'common sense' is a bit of knowledge that can be reasonably expected to be known without the need for debate or explanation. For instance, objects that are hot can burn you. Sharp implements can cut things. To improve upon your 'common sense' you have to ask questions and seek knowledge. As with any field of knowledge, if you are lacking in common sense it's best to find someone with a great deal of it to learn from. When you cannot do that, seek knowledge by looking things up. The more basic knowledge you obtain the more you can extrapolate using said knowledge, and the more 'common sense' you have.

I'm going to need you to elaborate a little on this one lol

Well unfortunately it's down to common usage versus dictionary definitions of the terms. Now, everyone who knows the term Wind Turbine knows that they make electricity instead of things like grinding grain and all the other things windmills do. However, those who are not familiar enough with Wind Turbines and windmills wouldn't know the difference at face value. They are both objects that make use of wind power to accomplish a task. While the task is wildly different, most people that use the terms interchangeably don't know that.

The reason it is difficult is simple. Distance. Our universe is unfathomably large. So, if there was an alien civilization relatively nearby it would still take decades/centuries for our radio signals to reach them. Not to mention that they may not even be advanced enough to understand radio waves, or they followed a different technological pathway and so they don't use radio. Our first response would be to hold a meeting in the United Nations and decide whether the extraterrestrials appeared friendly, hostile, or neutral. The UN meeting would then decide if we should attempt to communicate with them, and if so how we would. No individual nation would be allowed to attempt to communicate with the extraterrestrials for fear of economic reprisal. That's about the limits of our decided upon 'first contact scenario'. Wind Turbines are called windmills simply because of the similarities they share and the fact that the word 'windmill' is easier to say.

Well, Apple products have a lot to offer inexperienced tech users. Their UI is easy to learn, their hardware is fast enough to run basic programs, and they come with some of the best warranties you can get in the United States. That being said though, I do not use Apple products for a quite simple reason. Their products are too limiting for me. Mac vs. PC (and other computers) iPhone vs Android and Windows Phones iPods and iPads
