The moderators don't need your express consent or even your knowledge to change your name. They don't even need to tell you that they've done it. If they feel that you are breaking the rules, then they will moderate you. You do not have a right to be here. You have the privilege of being here. That privilege can be revoked at any time for a number of different reasons. As for the names and words that cannot be spoken, you'll find that there are a few that can't. It may seem a bit naive, but the moderators expect the members to use their best judgment when it comes to names and such. If they don't, however, that's where the name change comes in. It's a shame too, this is a pretty friendly forum. One of the friendliest forums on the internet. If you hadn't come here hostile, then you might have enjoyed your time here. You may still, if you have a change in attitude.

I hope that this is just temporary or something. It reminds me of the way that Halo Waypoint looked on the X-Box before their update, and I didn't like that look at all.
-
Definitely this, but with an emphasis on Waterworks!

Honestly, I'm not that much of a rank chaser lol If I get a high rank, cool, but I'd really rather just play the game and pwn newbs. That's the fun I get out of it. Because the plant produces 2 seeds (the peanuts) upon pollination. However, sometimes the plant only produces one seed, or even up to four!

Depends on the woman. Every person is unique in their cravings and desires. Including women.
-
If you mean it as in "partial to something" then yes, it is. If you mean partial as in not whole, then again, yes it is.
-
Depends on how many times you play the campaign ;D lol But no seriously, there's one time you get to see him in an Easter Egg. Driveways were made (and named) because houses used to be too far from roads to walk to, so you had to drive up the driveway to get closer to your house. The park in parkway refers to a place where one takes time to enjoy nature and whatnot, not stopping your vehicle. They were named such because they were nearby parks.

1-5 are impossible to answer questions. There are theories, but no way to prove they are correct. When, not how lol
-
1. The Antonov AN-225 Mriya 2. Depends on the person. Generally, if they are deprived of oxygen, 4 minutes until brain damage or death. 3. Three days at max. They would die of dehydration. 4. The Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge is 164,800 m long, the second longest is the Tianjin Grand Bridge which is 113,700 m long. 5. Under 700,000 tonnes of material lol I say this because the world's largest skyscraper weighs appx 700,000 tonnes.
-
1. Varies from person to person. Can be hours, days, or weeks. Even months. 2. Depends on the beer. However many it takes to get them to above 40% blood/alcohol level. Again, this depends on the person. 3. Depends on the size, shape, and armor of said ship. Also depends on where the torpedo connects. Could be anywhere from minutes to days, or even not at all. 4. You sure are on a roll with vague questions lol This depends on size, weight, what the person is wearing, if they are doing anything to survive, and whatnot. The main cause of death in these situations is Hypo and Hyper thermia, which can kill someone in minutes or hours, depending on the size and weight of the individual in question.
-
1. Appx. 2,770,540 tons. 2. On average, about 10,000 tons were used by any given warship during WWII. 3. The USS Enterprise CVN-65 is currently the world's largest ever warship, weighing in at 93,500 tonnes.

Personally, the only things I think that should be able to destroy vehicles are anti-vehicular weaponry (i.e. the Sniper Rifle, Splaser, Rockets, etc.) Anything else shouldn't even effect the vehicles, as the vehicles in Halo are war machines and are made to be resistant to small arms fire.
-
Well, actually the Halo Sniper rifle isn't anti infantry, it's anti-material. This means it's main purpose is for use against heavily armored infantry and vehicles. While we see it used against infantry the most, the round the sniper rifle fires is 14.5x114mm (for Halo Reach). This is actually an anti-tank round.

Welcome to the 343i.org community forum This is the friendliest forum in all of the haloverse If you have any questions about how to use the forum, or about Halo, please feel free to ask.
-
Depends on which kind (weight wise). But we use 155 mm if that's what you are asking. lol
-
Roflmao That would completely ruin people's days xD Imagine having to wander around the Infinity as your SIV because you can't play multiplayer! xD
-
Alright, so basically the Spartan-IV's are volunteers from different lines of service who undergo some form of genetic enhancement and rigorous training. The training is similar to what the SII's and SIII's went through, but more compact. The Genetic Enhancement they go through is based off of the SIII program, but more refined and suitable for an adult rather than a preteen. The multiplayer in Halo 4 will be taking place on-board the UNSC Infinity, and is basically training for the Spartan IV's. These "War Games" take place on a Holodeck.

This is not 343i's site, this is a fan forum. And your name was changed because:1. The word "retarded" is offensive, and not just to people who are. 2. Coming to a fan forum and having your name be what it was is abusive behavior, which is against the rules of pretty much every forum on the internet. 3. Because if a moderator didn't change it, the moderator would have to ban you for the reasons listed above. Believe it or not, our moderators try NOT to ban people without giving them chances first. I understand your hostility towards 343i, but no one here is 343i, so no one here is deserving of your attitude.

It's a very, very powerful nuke. It's also known as a "planet cracker".

1. The top ones that I'm allowed to name are the USMC Recon, the Army Green Berets, the Russian Spetznaz, the Navy Seals, the British SAS, and the Australian SAS. Recon being the least trained (in total) of the rest of these groups. The reason the US Army Rangers aren't named here is because USMC Recon goes through the entirety of ranger school before moving on to other, more difficult training (such as MARSOC). Also, the USMC Recon has an extensive training regiment prior to going to Ranger school, and as I said, Recon is the least trained out of the groups mentioned.2. A modern fireteam. That consists of 1 pointman with a service rifle/carbine, 1 M203 (known as the team commander), 1 SAW gunner, and 1 support gunner. Sometimes, a fifth member will be added, and will either be rear guard or back-up pointman. These small groups are very effective in combat. 3. Chernobyl would be my opinion on this matter. There is still radiation in that area. As far as natural disasters go, the tsunami that pegged Japan recently would be up there as well, because it killed many, many people and had the potential to make areas of Japan unlivable due to the Power Plant nearly going critical. O'Brien, Dutch, and Checkman. The eavesdropper was named Berger.

Did you know that if NASA's funding increased by 15%, we might be able to afford a colony on Mars in the next two decades? Now time for some troll science facts! (these make fun of statistics ) Did you know that according to statistics water, sleep, and eating are the most dangerous things ever? 100% of people who either eat, sleep, or drink water die! Oh, also, FIRST!
-
Roflmao "BETRAYAL" xD That would be a new and interesting way to kill people on Halo though, gotta admit lmao
-
It went a whole lot further than it does in Reach, and that guy didn't get a prompt to pick it up either. Idk. Maybe you can pass it, maybe you can't.

A fantasically disturbing thought indeed
The Director replied to miniamp's topic in General Discussion
Actually, this is a community forum that has ties to Halo. While this forum is Halo related, it is not Halo specific. This forum is about a community of gamers coming together to talk about what they like/don't like about Halo, 343i, and gaming in general. The offbeat and general discussion sections are for non-halo related discussions. Also, since Halo is science fiction, I don't see the issue in discussing science in general. -
I hope that the warthog handles more like H2, H3 than Reach to be honest. With Reach I thought I was driving a vehicle made out of rubber with how much it bounced and skidded. It also seemed magnetically attached to rocks... But that may have just been me not able to work the dang thing. lol
