  4. MORE FPS STAR WARS GAMES (and what will hopefully be an amazing trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront) Halo 2: Anniversary Edition
  5. I agree, Dedicated servers are absolutely the way to go with the next Halo. But if we don't have dedicated servers, I'm still going to play, and Halo can still be competitive without dedicated servers. Halo 3, widely considered one of the most competitive multiplayer games ever, -No dedicated servers. When a game doesn't have dedicated servers, it only means that the game now relies on the players' connection to one another. If the two players both have excellent connection, there generally aren't any problems. The only real problem that comes with using players as the host, is that at times, the host will have greater connection and will have a very, very slight advantage over his opponent. That being said, Halo can still be a competitive game without dedicated servers, but I'd like to have them because they are indeed better than player hosts.
  6. I like the idea of headshot capable Automatic weapons, it would provide a small change of pace, and encourage aiming for the head in close call encounters. I think that if a player is going to dual wield weapons, and have twice the power, he should also have twice repercussions. I think that if a player is dual wielding he should no longer be able to throw grenades, melee, weapon scope (helmet scope is still fine), or switch weapons without losing the weapon he's holding. I do think that if a player is going to melee while dual wielding, that the melee happens simultaneously with the dropping of the weapon. I feel like this keeps the game balanced for all the players.
  7. I actually like Armor Abilities. I think they add a new level of strategizing and preparation. In my opinion, if everyone has equal opportunity to the same armor abilities, (meaning, no DLC AA's) then the game is indeed balanced and fair. I agree that the Boltshot, in its current state, is over-powered for loadouts. If its going to remain a loadout weapon it should either be nerfed to have a longer charge time or do only enough damage to lower the victim's shields. I haven't really noticed a problem with weapons despawning too quickly, so I'm not sure what problems you're experiencing with this. I want Halo 5's Team Slayer playlist to be like the following: -Yes, Loadouts -No, Plasma Grenades in loadouts -Yes, AA's -Yes, Sprint -Yes, Going Prone/Dolphin Diving -Yes, UNSC Aircraft -No, Personal Ordnance -Yes, Dynamic Map Features Those are my own opinions, but something I really want Halo 5 to have, is more innovative Armor Abilities. I feel like they're a big part of what Halo is and I want there to be more diversity and uniqueness with each Armor Ability.

  9. Man, eight special editions? That's a bit much for the first installment of a game isn't it? The collectibles do look pretty cool though, especially the figurine and map of Chicago. Nice article P34nut!
  10. Can we get this pinned...somewhere? Absolutely great Sparks! Awesome guide to assassinations, not to mention some very beautiful looking graphics to go along with it! Great work finding all of this and putting it together. 10/10 Will Read Again
  11. Bungie is set to update Halo PC and Halo Custom Edition so that it's online multiplayer support will continue following Gamespy's closing. Bungie has announced that developer Roger Wolfsen, along with a small group of fans, have been working to keep Halo PC online following Gamespy's shutdown. "A small group has been quietly preparing for the shutdown of the GameSpy Master Server (which provides the list of Halo servers) and they are finally ready to discuss their work. The group consists of Roger Wolfson aka Sawnose (of Bungie), Btcc22 (of HAC2), Kornman00 (of OpenSauce) and myself, Technut (of PÕQ Clan). As a result of their work, especially Btcc22 and Roger, Bungie will be releasing version 1.0.10 of Halo PC and Halo CE soon, which will include the fix for the Lobby!" The update will ensure steady, reliable servers for Halo PC players to continue playing online multiplayer. Bungie will be releasing this update soon. What do you think of this news? Does it surprise you that Bungie is taking the steps to ensure that Halo PC stays online? Leave your thoughts in the comments below. 13. EA has released a list of 50 games that will soon be losing online support. This following list is of games that will be losing online support in late June due to the recent announcement of GameSpy's closing: As you can see, a very large number of games on many platforms will be losing online support, this is very disheartening news to many gamers. EA has released an official statement along with the announcement of this list saying: "Since GameSpy’s announcement, our teams have been working to evaluate options to keep services up and running. Unfortunately, due to technical challenges and concerns about the player experience, we do not have a solution at this time. Online services for EA games on the GameSpy platform will be closed down at the end of June." You can see from this statement that EA is indeed working hard to keep at least some of these games online. Though some of these games were already set to lose their online support due to Nintendo discontinuing their Wi-Fi connection services. What do you think of this News? Will this change in service affect you? Leave us your thoughts in the comment section below. Special thanks to @Zelda for showing me this news! SOURCE:YAHOO GAMES

  15. O Great Ruler of Hyrule, Congrats on 100 Days online!

  16. This is great! The long awaited price drop has finally shown itself! I actually looked forward to using the Kinect features with the Xbox One, so I don't know if this bundle is for me. Good on Microsoft for delivering something a ton of gamers have been asking for since the Xbox One was announced at last year's E3. Great find and article Screech
  17. Note: We're not official 343 Industries, we're a fan community. Also Dominion currently does have its own playlist until May 26.

  23. 48 kills in a Lockdown match on Exile. That day, was lovely.
  24. I plan on getting Destiny, I just don't know when yet. The consoles are switching to the next generation, and I've yet to buy an Xbox One. I'll most likely get Destiny after I pick up an Xbox One. Destiny is going to be a must-have game, and I don't plan on missing out for too long.
