I'm sick and tired of renting and buying used freaking games! because all the time my xbox goes, "unrecognized disc" when the disk is spot freaking clear! wth.......

Sounds like it's a problem with your xbox.

Yeah like Zuko said. It sounds to me like the laser is starting to fail. If your good with a soldering iron i suggest replacing it asap!
