As the oldest question goes and even though you said you easily figured out FL already, you haven't. There are many other features you probably haven't used yet. FL Studio is a professional DAW that you're already getting into. But since you're using windows which doesn't support Garageband, you might as well go with FL Studio to go on making musics and stuff like that. Or you can find another DAW because FL Studio can take a while to TOTALLY master it, take me for example. I've gotten better at it by far. (One of my latest projects) Since you're looking for hip-hop eats then it'll probably look like this except a more steady baseline envelope, this was a wobbly baseline which makes the wubs for dubstep. This is only one chapter? Sorry, I'm not trying to deter you from writing but the length of the chapters are too short IMO. Try adding more detail to the story. How about spending sometime planning out the characters personalities and adding more depth to them so that the reader can feel more "attached" to them.

From what I understand Chief can't bear being away from Cortana, it's like ripping a child from a mothers hands. And plus we already heard that Halo 5 will be about Master Chief searching for Cortana which still makes Halo 4's story relevant. There's multiple paths Halo 5 can take without making Halo 4's irrelevant. Why would you say that bringing Cortana back would make it that? Halo 4 was building a story about Cortana's rampancy, she didn't exactly "die" There's still a story to be told about her

I watch a lot of them but don't remember the name to be honest but I can tell you a scary movie not to watch, Chernobyl Diaries, for some reason the movie didn't seem all that good because for a few reasons which I won't point out because of the spoilers. I posted this on other forums and such... This subforum thing does say member created works and fan-fictions even thought this isn't much of a fan-fiction XD All my ideas in my own head. Chapter 5 is a quicky so I'll be fixing that later. Porting it in here was not a good idea.... Chapter 1: The Tale of Unforgivable Choices “You know I’m on break Chavez?” A brown hair colored man said whilst sitting at one of the tables at a local coffee shop, the sun shined through the window he sat next to. It was a beautiful afternoon in the fantastic state of Washington. “It’s important, I can’t tell you everything, not even on a secure line. We have to chat in my office” A Spanish accented man said through the phone. “Interrupting a wonderful cup of coffee for some business talk? I’ll be there in 20 minutes.” The man ended the call and waved for a check. The sun was more bright than he expected, he checked his pants pockets and grabbed that Aviators that hung, he put them on and smiled.Not even a single cloud in sight and yet the place had a dark vibe floating around. The man got in his military colored Jeep, turned the ignition, the engine roared to life. He switched gears into reverse and backed out of the tightly squeezed area and continued to switch gears into drive mode. The Jeep lept off with extreme horsepower and headed North. “Hello James, Chavez called you in again? Haven’t you ever had one interrupted break?” A man in a camoflaged military gear, he had a M16 strapped to his back with 3 clips on his belt. The place was heavily guarded place. James rolled down the window “Thinking about it, I’ve had one, which was only for four days” He smirked and waited for the Military personnel to open that gate. “Well, better hurry, we just received word he gathered your squad back together” The man added and waved his hand through “Well, have a good day Smith, seems like you guys are being fortified ever since this call” James added back and drove into the Washington state special services Headquarters. “Yeah, I bet, how about a side of insanity?” Said a familiar voice, I walked around the corner to find Carver making a smartass remark to Chavez “Started the party without me?” I said and walked out of the shadows up to the steel table with a couple of file folders marked Classified. “Glad you joined us, I was just doing a early brief of why I called you in here, but couldn’t finish because Carver here had something to say” Chavez said looking at Carver with that kind of face you see in those movies where you should just bail. “Okay, so that we’re all here we can finally begin. Without any interruptions” He stared at Carver and went back to the rest of us “Doctor Alex, one of the greatest minds of the 21st century, this kid is even smarter than 100 thousand combined copies of Einstein. He cracked the code to the universe, well that’s what he likes to say, I just call it the end of us all. He created a portal without any permission from the U.S. Government, the project was named Eternal Night for some odd reason. He finally sent in a request, a request to have it activated since that thing takes up a ****load of electrical power and releases radiation whilst activated. I read over it and denied for the good of all of us. He ignored it and activated, he’s been gone ever since” Chavez looked down at the files on the table and spread across the photos that laid inside. “Well, he isn’t your natural stereotypical nerd” Remarked John while looking at one of his pictures. “Here’s the good part, you guys get to experience first hand what went down in that lab. The officers that briefed me said that the lab, what am I saying? Its in the middle of nowhere in the Atlantic ocean with a base hanging on some islands. Well the place hasn’t been searched ever since and you guys get to be the first” Chavez finished what he was saying and waited for one of us to respond, none of us spoke due to our thoughts being collected also with our blank stares. “A VTOL is waiting outside to deliver you to the base, it’s a three hour flight, so get packed up tight, you’re in for a surprise tonight. The VTOL made a loud humming noise as we walked closer to it all in our black kevlar vests with standard military M16s and Berettas including night vision goggles. Chavez told us to bring the firepower since he didn’t know what will be waiting for us. The pilot was positioned outside the cockpit waiting our our arrival, the breeze of the propellers were colder than usual, something was going down tonight. “You guys Delta Team?” The pilot said as we gathered near him “Yeah” I responded “It’s going to be a rough night, the flight is going to be a bumpy ride due to windstorms” The pilot informed us and jump in the cockpit and sat in the pilot seat We all gathered in and made ourselves comfy and strapped our gear in tight and sat down and tightened up. The interior was cold and dark, the hull vibrated to the engines. The sound of the propellers went faster indicating we were taking off, there was a bump and we were of the ground. The intercom turned on “Be prepared for any wind turbulence in flight to the island, Delta, you’ll be parachuting in since we can’t take the chance of lifting this baby off the ground again. Parachutes are located under your seats, and remember, stay safe” The intercom shut off, I dozed off. Chapter 2: Requiem I awoke to an alarm blaring, out of instinct I got up, grabbed my gear and the parachute within one swift movement “Enjoyed your little nap James?” Called out Nick as he was nearing the back of the VTOL, the modem released while the helicopter jumped due to the change in wind pressure. “Okay Delta, you’ve got 10 seconds till the drop, the wind might blow you off course just a bit, but not too severely. Okay, Three... Two... One... GO!” The pilot yelled over the intercom, we ran and jumped off the modem, the wind forced us back nearly colliding with the VTOL as it darted off. We all synced and opened our parachutes. Another gust of wind hit “ Rendevouz at the main building, we need to complete this clean and easy.” I said into the comm channel, it filled with static then confirmations. The sound of the VTOL died away we were on our own. I slammed into a grassy area near the main building, I nearly broke my leg from that awkward landing. I unhooked the parachute and took off the pack and hid it in the nearest bush I could find. “John, Nick, and Carver, have any of you reached the facility yet?” I spoke into the comm while walking up to the gruff concrete building with what looked like a office complex next to it.”Yeah, you might want to see this, and fast” Nick responded back. I took off in a sprint towards the cyan tinted automatic doors. I walked through the door and found out what they were talking about, and hoped that this is the only problem we were running into. Six bodies, all torn up with bruises the size of watermelons, scratches were lined up across the floors and walls. “I don’t think Chavez is telling us the whole story” Carver said scanning the room for any sign of movement or who/what might of caused this.”They’re Requiem, you know? That religous group that supplied the Koreans with nuclear weapons?” Nick said kneeling next to one with one of their dogtags in his hand. “Their bodies are still warm, they were killed recently” Nick added now placing the dog tag back, he got up and stared at me. I looked over to see a long round desk with what looked to be a scientist stopping in a chair. Whatever happened in here must of been green on green, probably due to fright, but fright of what? I thought to myself. “Grab anything you need, we’re heading down in the elevator shaft” I said looking at an elevator with dents marking all around it. “Hope this isn’t an ambush” Carver said as I activate the elevator. The elevator jumped and made a constant whirring noise as if the gears were damaged. It became louder as we went deeper. We passed a carved out logo in white paint. The elevator made a thump as it slammed to a stop, in front of us stared a blast door which was only halfway closed. “Doesn’t seem much for a lab if nothing is h---” John stopped instantly and looked in awe at a huge metal frame with electric tubes connection to it. A console was located a little further back with multiple switches. “Chavez?” I waited for a response on the other end before I continued, Chavez soon replied. “We’re in the room followed by what I think is the portal which seems like it hasn’t been used in ages” I replied to him, thoroughly checking for anything out of the ordinary until I saw a chip on a table that was a couple of yards away from me. “James, you need to get out now, the officers who briefed me didn’t mention anything ab---- The VT---” He was cut off by multiple instances of static, the line went dead. A huge explosion shook the building, collapsing the blast door, it blocked our only way out. “Chavez, the blast door just blocked our way out, I believe that explosion was from the VTOL” I replied trying to find a connection at the same time until I heard Chavez “Jam-- Ou-- NOW!” Chavez yelled over the comm breaking up. “John, Nick, and Carver, any of you have any type of explosive!?” I yelled over to them. Suddenly a song started playing, I believe it was Frank Sinatra, by the sound of it, it sounded like Witchcraft “I didn’t sign up for this!” Nick said freaking out “Calm down, will you? It’s a classic!” Carver replied back. I went up to the noise which was located near the data chip, I walked up towards it, it turned out to be an old HAM radio which was still operational. Next to it laid the small data chip, I grabbed it and placed it into my wrist communicator which blinked to life, just as the voice filled my ears the lights went out. “Awww great! Just had to” Nick was cut off off by a huge whirring noise that shook the whole place. //Initializing portal, checking systems... Systems operation, activating...\\ A robotic female voice said over an intercom which also appeared on the console. A bright blue light illuminated the room. A blue sphere expanded and filled the metal frame. “Looks like there’s another way out” Carver said looking at the portal with wide opened eyes “We’re not going, we haven’t been signed to it, Chavez wants us to leave” I responded to him pushing him back “Where’s the explosives? We’re blowing this door to hell” I said to Carver who was our explosives expert “We can’t, if we do, we will all die” He said to me. A desk flew past us and barely hit Nick, everything was losing its balanced and was being pulled into the portal like it was a magnet. We started getting dragged in “Hang onto something!” I yelled as I grabbed one of the railings. John, Nick, and Carver grabbed onto the same one. “This thing isn’t going to hold! It’s being pulled in too!” John yelled to us, his voiced being deafened by the screeching wind. We didn’t have time to respond, we all knew we were going in. One of the computer systems slammed into the railing dislodging it. We fell in. Chapter 3: New Horizons A bright light filled the sky, we fell from the clouds at amazing speeds. A HUD appeared across my eyes with bio signs of John, Nick, and Carver appearing, their life signs spiked due to the adrenaline they are experience from falling. “We’re going to die!” Nick yelled at the top of his lungs “ I tried my best to move closer to him, the rest of the squad did the same “Are you seeing this? I can see everyones life signs? Something happened when we went through” John said coming closer “Well, whatever happened, it’s helping us” I said to him “We aren’t going to survive this!” Carver yelled as the green fields of this world came into view \\A.I Crispy emergency activation. analomy detected, radiation spikes detected.// The list appeared in the top left corner of my HUD, to the right were the life signs as well as mine at the top, bigger than the others. I looked at the ground if it were just inches away, everything shattered, it was like death from the intense brightness. it felt like breaking the fourth wall metaphorically speaking. We slammed into the ground. “Seems like we have more guests” Said a dark figure with bright red eyes “Getting rid of these things will be harder now, that Alex just had to break the barrier between our worlds, now we’ll just make an entrance to their world” He continued to say with a menacing laugh “Lets let them live shall we?” He said like he was talking to a crowd, with a whisp of his finger, the world below them shattered, the gravity changed, he watched them slowly hit the ground. “Just as planned.” I woke up staring at a sheep eating some grass, it looked at me but kept eating. Doesn’t seem to that frightened as they normally would be I thought to myself. I looked over to see the rest started to stand up “We must be dead or we are lucky” Carver said looking around “Falling from the sky at 500 Miles per hour and surviving a fall, I’m not sure that’s possibly” Carver added now looking up “Wait, where’s John?” I added as I only accounted for Nick and Carver, I looked to see footprints in the bushy grass that we were standing on “Great, time to waste to find a soldier instead of finding where we are” Nick added as we started followed the footprints. The sun glared us in the eyes, it was brighter than normal, the grassy incline slowly gave away as we ventured into a different terrain. “Grass to sand, something is fishy here” Carver said kneeling down to feel the sands texture “Well, his footprints still leads farther on” I said. We kept walking farther on until we saw a downed VTOL, we looked at each other and made a full sprint towards it. The VTOL looked the same as the one before “It has the same code, but didn’t it go down on the island? This place is getting more mysterious by the second” Carver said as he looked at the tail. I forced one of the closed doors open to find nothing inside that was useful, the pilot was not in the cockpit anymore, nor did it seem like he wandered off. “Emergency protocol 115, activating beacon” A warm female voice said “What the? Did you hear that?” Nick said looking at me, the voice responded again “I am A.I Crispy, emergency activated, I detected unnatural analomies” “That was you? I saw text code in the top left corner” I replied knowing that she heard me “Yes, Alex knew you were coming so he placed me on a table, but everything that happened was not planned but I’m here to assist you in any way I can” Crispy assured us “Okay, we if you can assist us, how many miles until we reach any signs of life, or specifically, John?” Carver said to Crispy getting closer but remembered she communicated through the comm “There are life signs all around us, you just can’t see them, and for John, 6 Kilometers due North” She replied having a worried tone for a bit “Another long walk, if we’re walking North why are we in a desert?” Carver asked her “Different world, that means different rules apply” Crispy responded with ease like she knew what she was talking about. None of us replied back knowing that the longer we wasted the longer it would be to finding John. We drew close to another grassy field with a large structure located on a side of a mountain, by the looks of it, it was steel and was not man made. We took another thirty minute trek to it to find a rough steel entrance about 30 yards in diameter. “Well, it’s dark in there, anyone bring a flashlight?” Carver added as he stepped further inside looking back. I shook my head and we made our way in trying hard to see what was in front of us “Crispy? Do you have something that could possibly light the way?” I said hoping she would say yes knowing if we didn’t have a light source it would be trouble if this place was filled with corridors “No, I’m not in contact with assault armor” She responded, we all looked at each other “You mean Alex manufactured armor? He must be smarter than I thought” Nick added as we continued on. We walked right in a deep hole or what seemed like one, we slide down a tunnel type thing until we collapsed on a stone cold floor. “Great! No way out now I guess” Carver said pushing Nick off him, he stopped and looked at a crypt located in the center of the room with John beside “John, where the hell have you been?” Carver said walking up next to him “I heard a distant noise, it got louder and louder until I reached this place” He said, he turned around as I was getting up to see the room for myself. The room trembled, the place collapsed around us like it was just a set made for movies. Chapter 4: Two Ends Meet The walls collapsed into a mountain range, rivers and lakes appeared around us, the sky brightened with constellations. “I can control this world you are in, tell me, why are you present?” A voice said, a raspy, dark, and mysterious tone like the ones you hear in horror movies “We mean no harm, we got pulled in here on accident” I announced out loudly before Carver says something he would regret “Accident? You humans decided to open a portal to my world, so therefor it must of been on purpose” The voice continued to say. A figure shattered into the world, it was a young man that looked frightened, it was Alex, he ran towards us when he first laid eyes on us. “This human created the portal, this is my court, you are the juries, you decide if Alex lives or dies” The voice bellowed, I knew we had to bring Alex back safe no matter what he did. “Even though Alex did create that machine, he does not deserve death. The Human race just wants to advance through technology, explore new worlds, do you really want to kill someone that is just curious?” I responded with confidence “Do the other juries agree?” The voice said, John, Nick, and Carver both said yes “In that case” The voice said, the ground ruptured tearing a line through the crust, something came out, figures start to appear, weird figures that stood on two legs, their legs looked somewhat of a horses, they bent forward then jointed to create a back end. The torsos were big, it was covered by a black armor, it was sort of a metallic black color that shined, its head was a elongated skull, it tilted backwards with a split jaw, it was sort of a human jaw sideways but with sharp teeth, its eyes were small but were long horizontally. It’s pupils were pure black. with a dark yellow pigment surrounding it. It carried a weapon that looked like it shot lasers, the ones you saw in the Star Wars movies “In the end, there is always death” The voice interrupted my thinking, the alien took out the weapon, it discharged, it sounded like a combination of static and electricity, the gun showed a bolt of lightning, it hit John, I pulled out my M16 and took aim at the head of the alien, I fired 3 bullets into the things skull, it collapsed on the ground, its blood was green colored. “Yet, you want to face an army that could easily wipe out the human race?” The voice said as the body hit the ground. I ran over to John who’s life signs have flatlined “You took a innocent life!” I yelled at him in rage “He wore the colors of death on him, who has the say if he’s innocent or not? How about you James? Even though that’s not your name, you have a dark past that I also cannot see, I think it’s time you know who I am, I am Kai, the god of time and everything living” Before the voice could finished Carver interrupted him “How are you the god of everything living? You killed someone!” “Like I said, there’s always death, the human race has gone on for too long, these creatures and those who signed their life away will wipe them out” The voice ended, a thumping noises of a thousand soldiers could be heard, more cracks opened up with more of those creatures, Requiem marched in closer with red and yellow suits. All the guns were pointed at us. “Well well, the non believers! We should wipe this filth then we destroy earth so we can rejoice in this world. judgement day is coming, you’ll be the first” Rosch said, who was the leader of the Requiem, the sounds of weapons could be heard discharging, knowing this was my last chance to put up a fight quickly grabbed from M67 frag grenades, unpinned them and threw a couple in seperate directions and hit the ground grabbing Alex to the ground as well. Six explosions took off yet the bullets still flied, Alex had something in his hand, he pressed it. The whole world went soundproof “Hahaha! It worked!” Alex yelled and jumped around like a child at play “What worked?” I added as I placed my hand on his shoulder, his spinned around and told me to look around, they were still firing but the bullets stopped in about a 9 yard radius “We’re stuck in a time bubble, we’re safe for now, now to adjust the settings which should take us back to the facility” Alex said messing around with his device “Couldn’t you have done that earlier?! John is dead” Carver said angrily to Alex I looked at Carver and tried to calm him down while Alex was fumbling around whispering and mumbling to himself “Hey James, did you grab Crispy?” Alex walked up to me as he was talking, Crispy’s voice chimed in and greeted him “Pull her out and hand her to me” He said, I grabbed her out and everything that was in my eyesight was blurred and the Heads Up Display was gone. Alex placed her in a little slot in the device, it made a large humming sound. “Got it! Oh and James, for saving me, you can now be the caretaker of Crispy, she will made a great asset and it’s also something to help you along the way since...” Alex stopped and smile, he placed the chip in my hand which I inserted back into the communicator, I looked over to see Nick and Carver whispering to each other, before I could say anything they walked up to me “What did Kai mean about James not being your name? Are you the source of this?” Carver said and pulled out his sidearm pointing it at me “Calm down Carver, I know you don’t work well under this sort of stress, just put the gun down” I tried to ease him not to pull the trigger “What’s is your name? If we knew your name we’d have a clue to all of this” Carver said, he looked around and finally realized what he was doing, he put away his sidearm “Sorry James, it’s just that John and I were close, its kind of hard to see him go” He said to me but Alex interrupted us “I got it! Just give it a few minutes to war-” He was cut off by Kai “Since you aren’t going down like men, I guess you’ll to see your world down” Just then a portal opened towards the street of manhattan, it was a 2-way portal since on of the cars crashed through and slammed into some of the soldiers, more weapons fired destroyed whatever life was inside. The soldiers started to walk in with weapons at the ready “Attack the closest military base and suit yourselves for World War III!” Rosch. Thousands of troops marched through the portal into the streets, after they all cleared the only thing left were the aliens. The portal closed and opened up another showing the streets of Washington, D.C. They started marching in guns at the ready, the worse thing was that it appeared at the white house, within seconds helicopters could be heard opening fire on the unidentified species but whatever weapon they had could take down a helicopter in six shots. “Got it! Ready?” Alex said as the world went black, we reappeared in a familiar area. Chapter 5: Judgement Day Chavez walked into to his office that was located on the 2nd floor of the SOHQ, he promptly sat down at his office chair and opened his laptop digging through any recent databases on Eternal Night until a fairly young looking woman with blonde hair wearing square glasses walked in. “Chavez?” She said as she was opening the door “Yes, Samantha? What do you need” Chavez said obviously knowing her “portals have been appearing all over the state, the largest ones happen to appear in Manhattan and Washington, D.C” Said Samantha as she showed him a tablet with a digital map indicating the locations. “Does that mean James and the rest of them are still alive?” He replied with a sense of hope, there was a large explosion that shook the 2nd floor “I guess that is a yes” Chavez said as he hurried out the door to a wide open room. The world brightened again as they re-entered their own world, I saw Chavez burst out through his office door “Haha! I knew nothing could st-- Where’s John?” He questioned us as he only saw the four of us “H
