Agree, people on the top should need to prove how good they are, moreover, 343i's site should have a ranking of the 10 best people or of the 20 best. (If my ideas here go ahead: Meaning: in multiplayer, Halo 4 should have maps and gametypes inside SWAT (which I think should change the name to ODST) in which people could play smth like COD, Battlefield, MOH, etc. A classic Halo group of playlists: Very classic Halo with the needed palylists. And a new type of Halo: with the things fans like me would like to see, again, with the obvious playlists.; And you have a different character for each group of playlists, your ranking (skill and possibly credits/exp) should be separated one's from the others, and if they had 3 or 4 campaigns (One CD only for the campaign)(smth similar to Alien vs predator)(a spartan, and ODST, an elite and a Brute (or, if the forruners appear, a forruner) campaig), each campaing should earn credits for each different group of playlists. Is sme didn't understand please say, i'll explain it again. Rafter

Agree with gollum385 in both posts. Great gametype by the way, Rafter

First solution, but more things, I remember that in h3, there were these so many gametypes, for example, for juggernaut, Imagine that sme wants to play Ninjanaut, but can't play it in matchmaking, this person wold create a game, which would be featured in matchemaking; people who choose the lone wolves gametype, would see some options in his screen, options of people who did smth like the person above, and one ast option which would be the "normal" matchmaking. The order in which each game sould appear would be, the "oldest" appearing in the top left corner, going all the way right and down, until "normal" in the lower right corner. Moreover people should gain some credits (smt ridiculous like 5 credits) if the person chooses one of these games. the quantity of credits should grow higher (like 5 cedits per minute). Furthermore, sme could only create a game like this if the map and gametype has been previously approved by 343i. Further, when sme creates such a game, should be informed of how many games like that one have been created before and still open for joining (meaning, how manu games are between his/hers game and he top left cornor). If anyone did not understand this please way which part you didn't unerstand so taht I can explain it to you again. Comment please, Rafter

To the Arby, First: You're welcome, it was my pleasure. Second: Yes, it would be good if Halo (4) became the best worldwide game, though, what should it feature? Let's think about the logics, (Right know, I will talk about the logical way to create the most famous game in the world and not what I would like Halo 4 to be) Halo CE was released 10 years ago and, scince then, 5 more Halo games came, one RTS, and 4 FPSs (being two (ODST and Reach) slightly different.) Therefore: We have 5 games quite similar (the sixth is Wars) and Halo doesn't seem to be worlwide at all. So, smth's wrong, either the game or the players (it can't be the players, moreover, you can't change them and if you find smth you can't change, you adapt to it) So, Innovation is needed, we have two options here: Option A: Create smth better and learning from the mistakes of other succesful things. Option B: Creat smth tottaly different and hope it to be successful (what happened to Halo CE) I don't see any Option B here, That leaves us with Option A. If we get ideas form other games (Which are very close to the reality) and make it better and possible to play many different gametypes in Halo, people will want to buy Halo because with 1 game, they get to play a lot of them. Meaning: in multiplayer, Halo 4 should have maps and gametypes inside SWAT (which I think should change the name to ODST) in which people could play smth like COD, Battlefield, MOH, etc. A classic Halo group of playlists: Very classic Halo with the needed palylists. And a new type of Halo: with the things fans like me would like to see, again, with the obvious playlists. Forge and firefigt should be as people are asking. So, a new type of game is needed in order to achieve the Bungie's so wanted "World Domination". Of course, some advertising would be needed For a different game, Rafter PS: Tottaly agree. Options and variety is a go for me

Nice idea, Though, I think that, either the monitor shouldn't have a weapon or could have a weapon but would need to have much weaker shields and health. Moreover, the monitor should't be able to transport the team across the map, which is easily arranged like this: when it is deploying some kind of wall, vehicle, weapon or structure, When it is choosing where to put but has already selected what he is going to put, the item should not appear to non monitors and should only take effect (become "hard") when deployed. Meaning, the monitor is deciding where to put this wall and is walking around with it, until is has been deployed, nonmonitors cannot see it and cannot cover behind it (this could lead to a monitor waiting to deploy a wall, deploying write before an enemy fires a rocket, protecting his teammate (don't worry, it won't happen a lot)) Moreover, the monitor should only be able to move around and deploy stuff in his side (half) of the map. This could also be featured in firefight Nice idea, Rafter

Nice idea, at least for me, but I am that guy who likes almost evrything that is new, Most people will thik of it as COD, though, but I liked it. If we can have a game that has properties of others, other people will buy this game because, apart from being able to play their game, tehy get to play more. Nice idea, Rafter

two things, first: a topic like this as already been created here:http://www.343industries.org/forum/view, Although you have the excuse that yours has a poll, Second: when creating a poll you can't give your opinion in the pool options, moreover, a poll must have more options such as: both, one weapon with two firing mods, and none. Said, Rafter

Ok, nice idea, but I have some regards in a few things: First: The thing you talked about needing to play to maintain his skill is logical, thou, the timelines should be a lot longer, not everyone can play everyday or everyweek. Second: about quitters; I look high to how the creators of LOL dealed with this situation: If you quit (no matter if it is because you wanted or because you had a network problem, you CAN easily join the game in progress but CAN'T play any other game, I tottaly agree with this. Moreover, I don't think that skill should be affect or your credits (you just lose the opprtunity to earn more(well, maybe skill could be)) (I know people with lot's of connection problems). Though you should be punished by quitting too many games, just like bungie does. I think that's all for now. Nice idea, Rafter

Hi people, sorry to be only mentioning now, but it seems that all of us forgot (except one guy that mentioned the locust) about the Halo Wars' vehicles, Wouldn't it be good to drive a wolverine, a rhino or a vulture, for example? Also, I would like to see the return of the elephant, but smth better, not that small (a tank doesn't fit in) slow, non-armed (only 2 machine guns in Halo 3) vehicle. It should really be a mobile fortress, not saying it should have the firepower of a scarab, but it should be smth larger, house vehices and weapons, and has some more mounted turrets (rockets and minigun); smth that, if it was real you would like to travel in it if you were to go to war Also, it as some kind of arm, right? It culd be manuerable, either for people to walk over it to assault an higher position, or just to destroy nearby enemy vehicles, or simple for nothing. This elephant whould need like two pelicans or an albatross (which can't deffinetly be as small as it appears in Halo3's map sandtrap) to be transported across the battlefield or from orbit to land and vice-v. This leads me to remembering that, that thing pelicans use to grab warthoughs or tanks to transport them shold be usable. Obviously, everything included in forge The more, the beter, Rafter

No; it will not look like COD (COD wasn't the inventor of ADS), it will look like every other game, but better, because of the story (the setting and the year) and the quantity of vehicles and usable spaces (from land to space), meanig, Halo's potential. The idae of ADS is exacly to have more accuracy whila ADS'ing, just like you'd do in real life. Can you explain what do you mean with:We can't stand flank, camp, and more flank gameplay, please; Rafter
-
Agree, that's why I only have 1 COD and already understood that COD8's campaign will be, more of the same. Yes, it gets somehow boring, always changing character, always a new story, although some people love it. Rafter

BraverKING514, been waiting to hear form you since I wrote a comment on your post the other day, No problem if your post are quite large, most of mine are as well, as we are quite organised and tru to get thigs straight, there is no proble with that. Agree with mainting somethings from past Halo games, As i told sme else, I doubt anyone knows how to talk to 343i, it looks like people only have hope that they read this and comment someday (although it would be good to comment, don't want to be writing this all if it is totally useless) Some people think 343i will say something more in the Halo fest, lets wait and see, See you around, Rafter

Nice point there, Thinking realistic, aiming down the sights and move would make you move slower, but 343i could do it in a way in which you would only lose a little bit of accuracy. (althoug still not sure how good it would be, the idea is to stop "ADSing" while moving) Baykem, lern with l mj l, he has a point of view, said it and justified it correctly, people here (and, if 343 sees this, definetly too) appreciate this. Nice point, anyway; made me think, Rafter

I can see your point of view, and I would answer as different playlists for different gametypes, that's what I would do. again, totally understand your point of view (although the only thing I love is my girlfriend  , but I got the idea) The first game I played was Halo CE, and I liked it very much, then I played Halo 2, 3 ODST Wars and Reach (Reach's campaign was terrible), and I started getting bored. no matter how much I liked Halo CE (and I still remember how I felt playing it (wow, that was deep  )), it doesn't really give me the trill to play smth like that again, that's why I have already decided not to buy HCEA (only if smb offers me). Now I want a better gameplay and smth that would really put Halo in the top sales list WORLDWIDE, not only in USA, (and i doubt it is the is even considered one of the top games in the us, can anyone confirm please?), this would be specially good for 343. As mentioned before, I think that you should be able to customise the custom games and have some playlists in a way that people can play classic Halo, but also allow others to play this new kind of game; it would deffinetly bring new people to the community, not only the classic halo fans, but also us (us=the fans who want a new type of game because are very bored) and many more people. Moreover, you keep mentioning COD, and COD, to those who want a new gameplay for Halo. In my point of view, COD's campaign is a pickup of the gameplay of other games and multiplayer in which you spend most time runnig around and shooting at the first one you see. (to COD fans: not saying that COD is bad (it is indeed one of the games with more sells worldwide), I play COD (halo does not "satisfy" me, but still think of it what I mentioned above.) I can't say much more to conterargue what you said that hasn't been said before. Still I'm not changing my mind in persuading 343i to create Halo 4 in a more realistic way (I don't know how can someone agree that there should be no fall damage and no weapon recoil or Bloom) Still fighting 'till 343i says that it will be a classic Halo game (and, therefore, nothing we say will change that), Yours, Rafter

Amen, Rafter

Not sure about the idea. Let me just say that Spark sees the chief as a Reclaimer, so, when he says: " why would you hesitate to do now what you have already done before?", he could be addressing the Reclaimers in general Anyway, not sure, Rafter

Nice idea, For me, all new ideas are good and should be feature in-game, and I think that your idea is very good, obviously people should be able to choose between the type of firefight they want, although I would definitely play this. All new ideas are welcome, Rafter
-
I don't think that the fact that Halo 4 is a sequel of Halo 3 should dictate the type of game Halo 4 should be. Moreover, it doesn't look like that people who want a new kind of game want it to be like Reach, just check the posts above and in other topics. Present more ideas, Rafter

The bloom just made it less easy for noobs (like yourself), and made it better for hardcore gamers (like myself) to get into the game because, believe it or not, people like realistic games, it made people have to adapt their style of gamepay depending on each situation, and it gave you a better feel that the weapon is actually there, in your hands, and made people think more tactically, making it mor challenging for a gamer, because nobody likes a game that is too easy. Bloom made it more of a believable game weapons wise, and actually, realism improves game quality, one of the things haters were complaining about was the lack of realism, Bungie replied to that, and muted the haters, 343industries would have to be insane to reverse the progress made to diminish the amount of gaming trolls, if anything they should make it more realistic, and make it so that you can look down the iron-sights of all weapons, and give the view a curved style of look due to the fact that you are wearing a curved helmet, and besides, if you don't want to use iron-sights, you dont have to! Yours Sincerely, The Hitchenator P.S. You have been Hitchslapped Screw you, i would love to see you "spam" me in h3 Baykem, How old are you, 4 years old? the way you justify your points of view are quite, how can I say, childish? Sorry but we're a bit more serious here. Give ideas, justify Ideas, Rafter

Honestly, I don't think we should care so much about the story of the Halo and just put the weapons we want to put. You must have notice that not even the games follow a logical story; an example to this is the fact that Brutes and skirmishers appear in Reach but not in the others (which are supposedly after). I say put both, or one with two firing modes Rafter

actually the reach engine is very highly sophisticated. the only bad thing about the game is how they used the engine It lacks simplicity. There is so much work put into it that problems appeared, it turns out that they got great solutions to problems that shouldn't even exist in the first place. Look at Halo 1 and 2, both games are extremely simple when it comes to shooting, there is no systematic bloom or anything. In H1 would the first shot hit in the perfect center, while the rest would go anywhere in the crosshair, 1 setting for bloom. Look at reach then, the crosshair changes radius depending on how frequently you shoot, even the radius of your aim magnetism gets larger making it harder to center your aim at someone's head because you get slowed down much earlier. H3 had its flaws too, there was aim acceleration and leading your shots. Shooting was a ***** compared the previous game title, Halo 2. I really hope they go back to the pure shooting games, your shot goes exactly where you look, and it does not depend on how frequently or far away you are. No, that's so terrible, do you think that a person who holds the trigger and fires the full magazine should have the same accuracy as the others who fire in short-controlled-bursts? Sorry to say this, but everyone can aim wherever they want even when the crosshair gets a little bigger (even I can, and I am not a big player) Well they do have different variants of almost every gun in halo, so if 343i added all the variants there would be more creative ways to enter combat. There are a dozen variants of the magnum alone. <( We have only seen 3 of these) There are 4 variants of the AR including the 60 round clip from halo CE. There is even 3 variants of the BR (the M.L.G. gun of choice), one in which also has a 60 round clip. So if they added all of these variants and kept the old one too, halo 4 would be a game to play for sure. Some people liked the D.M.R, some people preferred the BR, but i liked them both and would personally like the chance to have them both at the same time. I am not a big duel S.M.G user(actually i'd rather have an single S.M.G for accuracy), but if you want to please everyone it might be the way to go. We should probably come up with a new forum for weapons in halo 4. Yes, I know they changed the weapons and that there is a great variety of AR and magnuns, etc; I meant a variety in game, Agree with you about adding them all; Fire "controllingly", Rafter
-
Actually, the idea would be to create a game somehow more similar to battlefield and warrock(big battlefields, all vehicles, etc), rather than call of duty, (why all of you always mention COD, don't you know of any more games besides COD and Halo? Already, did; nothing special; but that's not the point. (though I will not explain it again, I'm tired) Agree and disagree, Rafter

Anyway, I think that most was said above, Realism is a go, Rafter
-
"Yes, yes, a thousand times yes" It will not be the classic Halo, it will be better and more people will buy it; If you want to play classic Halo you can play all the previous games, and you will alreaady have Halo CEA, you don't need one more Keep opening you mind , Rafter Your an idiot, im sorry to say, but you are in fact an idiot, or a troll I'll take idiot, it's considered a complement in some cultures; However hard you criticise, try to explain, at least, as I did, exacly where you disagree. waiting for your answer, Rafter

Is there a way to say "FAIL", politely? "loose the trust and faith of the core halo community, quite a nice expression", really amused; Halo is tehs story, the year of the tory and the tecnology, not the gameplay. Just said.
