  1. I don't know about you guys, but Halo 2 was the glory days of Halo multiplayer. It had by far the best matchmaking of all the Halos and in my opinion, the best multiplayer game of all time. What made it good you say? True Skill. I want ranks to show my skill.... not that I can play a game more than you. Any noob who has no job or life can be a level 50 on Halo Reach or Halo 4, but it takes an awesome player to be a level 50 on Halo 2 or Halo 3. That's what I want the most from Halo 4. I want that feeling of "if I loose, I'm ******". You had to rely on your teammates, and strategy.... now you can jump into any game and troll all you want, because in the end, it's all about the points, and not the kills anymore. Halo is my second favorite franchise (the first being Zelda) and I don't want it to become another laughing stock of Xbox Live multiplayer. I HATE the **** Of Duty franchise because of what they did to multiplayer standards. Now every game thinks they have to copy COD's style. The reason I play Halo is because it's not COD. I hate games that you have to "prestige" in. They did it with Halo Reach and also Gears 3, and I am disappointed to this day with those decisions. What happened to the competitive nature of games? What happened to the Gears 1 & 2's and the Halo 2's and 3's? I don't want the Halo franchise to go down this horrible path, but that's what is happening before our very eyes, but there is still hope. 343, I know you all are a great company and have many ex-Bungie members aboard, so I ask you as an avid fan... WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!? You all need to wake up and see what we really want from Halo 4. I know every company wants to include all types of gamers from casual to hardcore, but that is NOT what Halo used to be. It was a freaking hardcore game, and that's why people liked it. Look back at the Halo 2 MLG days and you will see what we want back. That is what got people hooked on Halo's multiplayer in the first place, it was slay or be slayed, dog eat dog, and if you weren't good, gtfo. Halo pushed me to spend hours honing my skills and trying to become a better gamer, that is why Halo was amazing, it pushed us. All hope is not lost yet though, you can still change this. 343, if you are reading this, make a patch or whatever you have to do and bring back True Skill. I don't care about armor upgrades or jetpacks, I want a competitive game that challenges me, I want a game that challenges the COD empire by being different... not the same, but overall... I want my Halo back. Thank you for your time everyone, have a great day, and I will see you on Live. -Auddy07
