They would have to be redone in order to fit into Halo 4. I am sure that there is some forger out there who could recreate them so people could play them in custom games however I dont see those two maps being added in just as they are. More importantly I dont see them being added in at all unless they are part of a DLC map pack. So like I said, your best possibility would be to find some forger out there who could recreate those maps for you. We have some excelent forgers here on these forums actually. Just ask around in any of the forge sections.

Are we restricted to console games?

Well I do believe they ment Spartan Ops to be a bridge of sorts between Halo 4 and Halo 5 I have no doubt that something like what you described could happen.

To be honest, the model we see in that image looks like crap to me. The chest and helmet look really really bad. The only part I would possibly put on my Spartan is the shoulder pieces but even that is a maybe.

I hate to break it to you but Halo 3 will eventually be taken down from Live or whatever it will be called in the future. It is something that will happen due to the passage of time. At this point though it doesnt need saving. No Halo game needs saving really. Sure the online features of the older Halo games (H2 and soon H2PC) are gone but that happens with time. It wont be taken down any time soon but eventually it will happen. Hope that doesnt bother you too much.

The only idea I am trying to get across is that people are making asumptions about why things are in the game and where they come from. Because they are asumptions they are not fact. Thats all, which in turn might solve a lot of claims people have been making about the game itself. Beyond that I have already said, multiple times I might add, that Halo 4 is a new vision of Halo. It is 343i's vision. While it is not complete yet (yes I do have issues with Halo 4 but they are minor annoyance to me) it is still their vision. It pays homage to Halo's roots while still creating its own path in the gaming world. Its an abrupt change to be sure, but that doesnt make it a bad one. Halo being good or bad is a personal issue which changes from person to person. Now then I have said enough here I think. Take what you will of my post. BTW Twin, only the first small paragraph was directed at you.

Since the Fotus armor is a reward for buying the Halo 4 console it wouldnt have anything to do with the game itself (in terms of being in the games case)... It would be on the receipt for the purchase of the console itself.

Just commenting on the red bolded text. Where is your proof of this? I highly doubt that you have any data to support such a claim considering that many Halo players (not sure on the percentage but it is a significant one) dont even get online to sites such as this or company run sites. I have yet to see a survey that includes a majority of all Halo players stating as such. So far the only thing you have going for this statement is the small group of posters on company sites and here that are voicing a negative opinion of Halo 4. The amount of those people however are a very small fraction of those who actually play Halo.

Halo 2 on Legendary was a snooze for me... didnt take much effort at all to me. But this isnt about Halo 2 its about Halo 4. As for it being more difficult I wouldnt say it is. Its different, thats all.

I will pose this question to the people who continue to state that Halo copied or was taking stuff from CoD... Where is the proof that they were directly taking features from that game? I am talking contracts, copy right agreements, you know paperwork. If they are taking stuff from CoD they would be needing to file paperwork for it. Friendly question thats all.

I never said MLG itself did anything wrong. I am saying the player affiliated with it and or (generally the and portion of it) the players who desired or thought they should be part of it did something wrong (in my eyes). They created a mind set in a lot of players that competition only occures within MLG which just isnt true. But again that is for another thread. I was only using it as an example of how there already are divisions within the Halo community that create a lot of "friction" between people who play.

Ok Just wanted to make sure thats what we were talking about here. As for me I would be somewhere inbetween both of those extremes. I would be more lightside than dark that is for sure however I do have my dark moments... some much darker than others. But personal perceptions are skewed.

But what if they dont want to play social? While I am not a great player I dont mind ranked matches, yet because I dont have the same kind of connection as Joe the barber down the road I am not allowed to play? That is insane to me. Basicly it is saying that I can not use the full features of the game. Connection issues have nothing to do with skill btw. Skill is within the player not their connection to the game. And I still see a division happening with in the community (or further division if you will). Because what you propose would be enclosed within their respective nations. While it might breed some competition between nations (in terms of the game) I see it breeding more hate and disrespect over all. It will devolve into a petty match of: "The entire world sucks, our country has the best Halo players anywhere. Our ranked matches are at a higher level than yours!" That just isnt a good move for the community which is already nearly there due to MLG. The idea it presented is great, but the players are the ones who screwed things up and gave it a bad reputation. But thats for another thread.

I am glad she is around. She seems to be cut from the same kind of cloth as the Spartan-IIs instead of being more of an outsider. While she doesnt have the exact same training or augmentations and upbringing she has a similar attitude in combat to those seen in Spartan-IIs. She knows her limits yet pushes to be better because she knows she has to be. She knows she is an asset but doesnt let it get her down. She is quirky yet solid as a rock. In terms of skill I think she is right on par with John. Physically she isnt (due to augmentations), or at least appears not to be however tactically and mentally within a fight she is right there with him. A great character.

The problem with your connections issue is the lack of community that would be created. The lack of interaction between the EU and US and well the US and anywhere really would be a huge blow to the community as a whole. An already divided community (in terms of nations) would be even more divided as now they are restricted to just their own nation. More over you are cutting out many people who want to participate in ranked games by giving them the ax due to their connection. Not everybody can afford super fast connetions and due to the multitude of providers you would end up creating a community that has to conform to specific companies for internet access in order to play their game the way they wish. Thats not a good message to send to any community.

I am sad, nobody got the bag of holding reference.... What has this world come to... Anyways, as I posted before there are boat loads of PC games out there that are fantastic. Its a great market to be in.

Well technically any game where you take direct control of a character within a story line can be considered an RPG as you are playing a role within the game. However the RPG thing is geared more towards specific elements that comprise the game, not just having the player take over a character within the game. That being said there are many role playing games out for the XBOX. There is the Mass Effect series, Skyrim (well any of the Elder Scrolls games really) and many more.

Let them do so. 2: Its not an argumentitive question, just one to gain insite into why that particular person seems to have an issue with this game. 1: He hasnt messed around. He does as requested however he makes some amusing remarks along the way. He has never put mission priorities aside for his amusement. He is a military AI and functions as such. 2: So if making crappy jokes during difficult situations is bad then you must consider Cortana to be bad. She made them all the time. What about Serina from SoF? She made really really bad jokes just like Roland yet nobody complains about her. How about any of the other AI's mentioned in the books? They all have their personality quirks. Thats called AI personality development. If it were just a robotic voice relaying nothing but information would you be interested in it at all? Roland is in a lot of ways a culmination of different AI's and their personalities. He can be deadly serious when he needs to be and can fight to protect his core programing His bad jokes are on par with any military serviceman or woman who cracks bad jokes in combat. He isnt ment to be any of the other AI's nor replace them. Instead he is in his own unique position. An AI that you interact with frequently yet he is tasked with not only your mission but the welfare of dozens of missions and the Infinity herself. A great addtion if you ask me.
