  1. I wouldnt mind an XP cut for Spartan Ops for the MM aspect of it. It is a bit high in my eyes but it is what it is. Considering the XP it gives you isnt good for much of anything of value in the first place I dont see it as a really big issue.
  2. I like the colors however I am not a fan of the recon chest piece. It looks to bulky for recon to me. Also the wings in the back look silly period.
  3. Welcome to the community. I am eager to see more of your forge maps. Plus its cool to hang out on Friday nights for customs.
  4. Just leave your gamertag on here and I will get back to you.
  5. Well in that case I would help you, but not tonight. I am burnt out of playing. Did a full day of gaming today so I need to lay off it for a while.
  6. Unfortunately it is something that you have to complete as a solo legendary play through. Its ment to be a tough challenge with a nice reward. I am not great at the game either, however if you keep working at it and mix it up a bit during the missions you will make it through.
  7. The Forerunners had too many things working against them. 1: The Forerunners were severely depleted in their Promethean ranks due to the war against humanity. 2: Whole Forerunner worlds were consumed fairly quickly by the Flood and on many worlds it seems the Flood already had a presence with out any Forerunners knowing so the Flood could attack on multiple worlds with no warning or defence. 3: The Forerunners did not understand the reality of the Flood until it was too late. The Flood would never be content with what it already had. It always hungered for more. That combined with the untolled horrors of different mutations would make each fight a new nightmare. Kind of like Javick from ME3 describing the fights against the Reapers. 4: The Forerunner AI turned on them with out them even realizing it. It was a crippling blow to their defence when that happend. 5: Their final solution in combat was Promethean AI's, but they were too little to late. Humanity on the other hand beat the Flood in the future by shear dumb luck. The acts of John and Cortana were bairly enough to contain it. Realistically they shouldnt have been able to complete such a job. The only thing going for humanity at this point is the Librarians gene-seeding which is actually in all of humanity, however John was here chosen successor in humanities defence. Each human has the potential to return to the genetic supremacy of their ancestors who fought the Forerunners and the Flood. It just needs to be unlocked (my theory, not fact). That will ensure humanity takes the mantle and watches over the galaxy.
  8. You will never survive my deadly robo-scorpions, technological terrors and, um... BIGGER, more ATOMIC versions of these things! Dr. Mobius
  9. Hellsing Ultimate and Outlaw Star are my favs.
  10. I have seen and spoken to many people from various sites and most (but not all) follow the same kind of ideas. If it doesnt conform to one style of play it is unskilled and anybody who says otherwise is dead wrong and a "noob". As I have stated multiple times, I have no problem with the idea of MLG, I do have a problem with its players and the attitude that develops within those players. I do want a site or program for intense play. It fills a need. At this time however I think its better if MLG takes a back seat due to the reputation many of its fans and participants have given it. Also, sorry if you think I am snapping at you. I, in general, ask alot of questions to get more insight and I also try really hard to see anothers side of a discussion. Alot of what you have posted however seems less informative and more confrontational (in my view) which might be why you feel I snap at you. Again I am sorry you got that impression. Just a difference of view points.
  11. Actually there were some 4 million people playing Halo 4 within the first 5 days of its release... Not everybody buys it for the MP... just saying.
  12. I am glad the Editors went with Dishonored over ACIII. While ACIII is a good game I just think Dishonored fit the bill a bit better.
  13. Yes it is 6 months after the ending of H4, but I am not wondering where he is. I believe Spartan Ops is supposed to be a bridge between H4 and H5 so I dont think we are supposed to know.
  14. See its that kind if crap I dont agree with. MLG seems to have instilled an attitude in players that is very poor. Now granted it doesnt apply to all players, I understand that, however they seem to be vastly out numbered by the players who make comments such as the one above. Sorry for singling you out but it was indeed a prime example of the arrogent attitude MLG has instilled in many players, which is of course what I was talking about in my previous post for this thread.
  15. I knew what you were trying to do. Just staying out of that part. Only wanted to correct you in that John indeed did know what he was looking for, how big it was, what it could do and what the Didact's goal was....
  16. I am not sure I particularly care. While the idea behind MLG is outstanding its participants have not been (in my experience). Besides MLG is not the be all end all competitive aspect of Halo. You can find competition anywhere you go in any halo game reguardless of play list or title. Its a matter of perspective plain and simple. I honestly think people turned MLG into something it didnt ever set out to be nor wanted to be. A name that contains all of "competition" within a Halo game, which frankly is plain wrong to me. In any case I wont be shedding any tears.
  17. I just want to point out a few things... 1: Sorry that you are deciding not to play any more Halo games. Nothing anybody can do as that is a personal choice. 2: I do get tired of people saying that there is no skill to be found, not saying that you have said that however. I just find that it is a different kind of skill set from previous incarnations of Halo. Different but still there. If thats not something you see then oh well. 3: The Infinity challenge has been fine for me. Of course there will be cheaters, there will always be cheaters. But in my eyes its best just to rise above that kind of stuff and play on. 4: I am not particularly fond of your form of fun. Playing for a rank or title in a video game isnt my idea of fun. That being said there is nothing wrong with it. But if that is your sole reason for leaving then well... I just dont understand how you get along in other games with out those things (of which there are tons). Not flaming you, just genuinely not understanding it thats all. 5: I have no clue who those people are nore particularly care. Players will play simple as that. 6: Halo has never been for anyone. It caters to a particular group of players who are interested in a sci-fi story. Even more select is the MLG which caters to hardcore players who play non stop (or so it seems). Honestly at this point however, at least to me, it has spread out further towards a larger crowd who can finally just pick up and play and survive to enjoy it longer. Hardcore players still can find plenty of competition whilest not destroying every new person who comes on to the MP scene. I havent played any Halo other than H4 online for any extended period of time. It suites me perfectly as I am good but not that good. I have room to improve. Anywho before I drone on and on, I will just reiterate that it is sad to see a player decide to stop gaming. Hopefully you will decide to come back at some point.
  18. Was he aware it took the Infinity to move it? No. However he was aware of its scale and that it was moved some how. It would be logical to assume that the equipment used to move it would be at the station itself.
  19. Umm she shows him a holographic display of the Composer.... watch...
  20. Play even knowing that your going to loose? Have some pride in your game, fight till the end and make them earn it. Even if its just you agains 8 people. But then, you wouldnt be alone for long with the Join in Progress system H4 has. It will dump people in with you and even things out. Just plug away at it. Your W/L ratio will even out eventually anyways. Or at least maintain itself at a certain ratio.
  21. No problem. Its nice to know that somebody else out there thinks that at least some if not alot of the blame is on the players, not just the company.
  22. Too many lists, not enough Frog... But I am glad you had help to get oriented again on here. Welcome back.
