  1. You realize that you are attempting to claim your opinion is my opinion... Which it is not. The further along this thread goes, the more moronic you are sounding. Don't take it personal, I am just calling it as I see it.
  2. I have given about as much as I am willing to be bothered to give in this thread. This kind of idea has been hashed over so many times that I don't really care to do it again. Suffice to say, everybody thinks THEY KNOW what is best for Halo, when really it is them creating a game for themselves and themselves alone.
  3. Here is the deal with First Person Assassinations... They wouldn't have any of the flashy sequences that we are used to seeing. Air assassinations would be basically nixed as they would be a bit too complex unless it goes to a standard neck snap. Most of everything would be done as just a standard neck snap to be honest as it allows for quicker assassinations to keep combat flowing. Personally while I think it might speed up the flow of combat, there would be too much taken away.
  4. I found ODST to be of comparable length to the other Halo games. Part of it is taking your time between the "flashbacks" and just exploring the city. Picking and choosing your fights and making the Covenant suffer as much as possible before hitting your waypoint. I mean you can blow through the campaign on any Halo game in a matter of a few hours but that's just rushing things and ignoring so much.
  5. I never said Halo 4 was a masterpiece, nor did it need to be. But I wouldn't trust you to mess with Halo any more than I would trust myself. In all honesty what you have written in the OP would kill Halo even faster.
  6. Thank Jebus (or your preferred deity) that you aren't the Creative Director.
  7. Personally I say get rid of the armor customizations beyond color. There literally was no point to having them beyond trying to look pretty. They don't do anything for the player in terms of gameplay. Now if they actually affected something other than looks then by all means keep them, but to me as it stands now they are just a waste of programing.
  8. I would rather they got rid of ranking systems all together. They caused nothing but e-peen ad e-boob contests within the gaming community. More over they took away the focus from the storyline which is the driving force behind any game. When you do that you loose quality in the game over all. Look at ODST for example. No stand alone multiplayer such as seen in Halo 3 (Firefight was there but it had no ranking system or anything of that sort). Yet, to me personally, its gameplay was far superior than that of Halo 3 and Halo 2. It was far more enjoyable to play than either of those two game. Reach wasn't bad either, but it still went down the same slopes as Halo 2/3 due to the arena and its ranking system. Granted it wasn't as bad as either of those two previous games.
  9. You couldn't pay me enough money to have this collection. I already own each of those games, no need to buy them over for the shiny new looks. Waste of money.
  10. Sure, bring back the e-peen contests. Lets who who has a bigger one!!! If you couldn't tell I was being sarcastic.
  11. YOU WANNA GO THERE RSR?!?! ALL BUT ONE LEVEL OF CE WAS ON A HALO. HALO 2 BAIRLY HAD ONE IN IT SO HALO CE IS THE MOST HALO OF ALL THE HALOS As for Forge actually being in the game, I have no doubt it will be. I don't really look forward to it but I am sure they will change a few things, which undoubtedly tick half the forge community off (that's how people are).
  12. The BR was the "one weapon to rule them all" in Halo 2 and 3. The thing seriously wasn't balanced at all. There was no point to using any other weapon, even power weapons. I absolutely hated it. I made it a point not to use it at all. The DMR started out that way in Halo 4, however that was corrected far better than any "balancing" that was attempted in Halo 2 and 3 for the BR. Personally I enjoyed the DMR far better than the BR. Its semi-automatic single rounds were accurate and decently powerful. It "felt" (stupid to say that but its as accurate as I can be) like a weapon that was plausible and worth using.
  13. The only SMG related to Halo 3 that I find acceptable is the suppressed version in Halo 3: ODST. If it were that then sure why not, otherwise we have the AR so why have the SMG? Total redundancy there.
  14. Absolutely yes, along with all those other so called "competitive" crap places. The idea behind them was great, having a place for hardcore competition, but gamers and fans doing what they do best mucked it all up. Soon it became: "Use these settings *IE MLG* or your not really playing the game! If you don't then your just a stinking casual!" No thanks to the return of that garbage. Should you put ice in your Scotch while drinking?
  15. No, not even close, but at least its better than Halo 3. Are you old enough to drink Scotch?
  16. It is one reason why I have stopped playing Halo. The gameplay is fun in the generic playlist stuff but the added stuff like CTF SWAT and that kind of thing just doesn't do it for me. Oh and I got seriously addicted to Titanfall.
  17. While I hope it never does come back due to its impracticability on any sort of battlefield or firefight I expect it will at some point in order to quell the fans. That being said, IF it comes back then it definitely needs to be tweeked to the extreme. Visible bloom should be in with it just like every other weapon. Remember that it is only a visual representation of what has occurred in the games since their inception. I think RSR is going along the right lines on increasing the amount of inaccuracy with them and keeping them inaccurate for longer periods of time. It definitely would help balance them out to shorter ranges. Reload speeds should also be increased. Seriously both hands are in use, the Spartans don't exactly have a third arm to load their weapons for them and trying to load one handed (while on the move no less) is extremely difficult. Offhand weapons I think should suffer a greater accuracy penalty than main hand weapons would. It should be a selection when creating your online Spartan avatar. Make them either left or right handed. This would change which side the weapons are on your screen as well, according to which ever hand is your dominant hand. Thus when you are dual wielding weapons your main hand (which ever it is) has slightly more accuracy than your offhand making you decide which weapon is more important for you to have in each hand. This inaccuracy can be displayed simply with a slightly larger bloom on the reticule as well as faster expansion than the main hand.
  18. Suppressor is completely awesome. I have proof.
  19. It bothered me too when they started adding in the different versions to each playlist. I understand why (too many lists if they were separate) but still they were annoying. In all honesty I barely remember the last time I played Halo 4. I mostly do Titanfall now.
  20. The only funny moment I have ever had in this sorry excuse of a RTS game is thus: Boss raging about loosing a match because his teammate was busy playing Flappy Bird (or whatever the heck it was called).
  21. 0/5 Self portraits aren't allowed Also lacks Brony Swag.
  22. 4/5 I like the color but honestly it needs more frogs in it. Preferably vaulting.
  23. Caboose I have been around gaming for decades, I know why they were so "desired" in the first place and why they were given out. My point is that they don't add anything to the game of value, nor has any of the armor pieces in the newer games. It is pointless programing, nothing more.
  24. I don't think there was any point to it being in the game in the first place, nor any of the other armors. They are cosmetic changes only, which to me are a waste of programing. Now if they actually affected something, say giving slight stat boosts, then I would see them as worth while. And I would agree that they shouldn't be given away. As they stand now and back then however they are just pointless programing so might as well give it away.
  25. Welcome youngling. I still cant fathom why parents let little kids play violent games like Halo but whatever, not my call. Oh and I burned a Cortana poster just for kicks
