I find if i complete 2 challenges in the same game I only get the points for one of them lol.. Not that it makes much difference just very annoying.

Bought my first xbox before it was even available in Ireland and Halo was my first game, bought H2 the day it came out.. Bought a 360 just to play H3 and bought all since except halo wars. Am I a true fan??? Besides that well i thought the whole campaign knitted well together and was possible the best part of this game

The truth is they have put an xp cap and ban in place for health and safety reasons... Sitting in front of a computer is bad for your health so they want you to go for a walk and maybe even socialise a bit from time to time. I have to say its not a bad move as it is in fact to stop boosting. The ban lasts for less than 24hrs as far as i am aware as the cap is for any 24hr period. Just keep it a bit below the cap from now on and you should be fine.

Well I'll be this says a lot about Halo and its new makers: Since when did not half bad cut it for the biggest xbox title???? I mean it was freakin awsome under Bungie (with the possible exclusion of reach), not half bad is what I use to describe mediocre games... Best selling does not mean best, someone should remind him that his sales figures are **** on by CoD so are we to assume that they make better games than the Halo series??? I guess one can make any figures suit them, how about sales compared to numbers still playing, put that as a percentage and see who wins H4 or H3 (H3 would prob win based on who is playing right now lol) Really i would never have guessed but releasing an unfinished product was definitley top of the list I dare say. Now depsite my comments do not get me wrong I think Halo 4 is a good game it was just that I expected and wanted a great game. The standard of expectation by the fans seems to have exceeded that of the company making it which is a little unfortunate. They have brought in some good new features whether I like them or not they are new and innovative for the Halo series (may be robbed from other games but so be it). I hope they are more walk than talk when it comes to Halo 5 and I hope the saying ''once bitten twice shy'' does not make people stay away from it when it comes out.

This idea of ''I payed for a game so if I am not enjoying a round I should have the right to quit'' is a very unfortunate one. What many people saying this fail to realise is that when you quit you gain nothing for your effort and you hurt your teammates chances of success. On top of this very often when somone quits they cause the game to stall making a mess of it for all players involved. The idea of a shooting game is that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose (lets face it someone has to), imagine if you were winning a game and all the enemy quit and you get nothing for it!!! Well they could use your argument as an excuse and the game would die a quick death. The introduction of a penalty does not stop you from quitting (as is your right) but prevents certain players who quit every time its not going their way from doing so. The points loss system would have been a good one if used from the start but at this stage I fear it may be too little too late. An improved version of the reach temporary ban system might be the best answer.

The list of missing and wanted playlists include: Rumble Pit BTB (objective) FFA (All associated game modes) Team Snipers KOH Griffball 1 Flag Assault/Defence style Dominion (cannot remember the name of this game mode) Classic Team slayer (slayer pro for example) Team Doubles Multiteam I am sure there are others and the current playlist is kind of bare although I am a big fan of dominion. The problem seems to be that 343 were not ready to release Halo 4 but had to due to a deadline, so now they are still finishing things intended to be in the game on release day so are in no position to add new things or make changes the community want... They had KOH, snipers and slayer pro but have removed them, snipers was broke and needed fixing but the other 2 were fine so the choice to remove them has me puzzled. Hopefully they will get caught up and start making additions to the game.

I have been hoping for one since the start of the game, it would be nice to have the option to play either type, I think it might even bring back a few players to the game in general. Fixed weapons to start with, fixed spawns, respawn times and primary/secondary weapons scattered across the map would be great, even remove AA and sprint to make it pure H3 style. (although sprint could be kept) If they did this they could instantly bring back some great H2/H3 maps without any need for major change. I like the game as it is at the moment although it may need some tweaking, but this would be a great addition, even just have game modes of slayer, BTB, Doubles and multiteam would suffice.

Yeah europe got screwed which is odd considering the size of the market, we also got no double xp or anything like that. Clearly 343 have the competence of an idiot monkey on the sales front. that sid if you preordered the game in Ireland you got the codes not usre bout anywhere else. All players will get the codes soon as they are being included in the updates i believe. If you have any mates who preordered LE in UK or Ireland they might have a spare set of codes.. Hope this helps.

Lol someone tell me how not to get them I have approx 5k assists to 10k kills... there is always someone stealing that last shot (or at least sometimes it seems that way) Simple answer is shoot everything that moves, lots of people will not take shots unless they think they are sure to finish it but if you shoot at everything you may not kill everything but you give your teammates a better chance as you have weakened their opponent and low and behold you will have more assists than you need.

Happens to us all, I went from 2 perfections in one night and consistent +10 spreads one night to negative or barely even then next mornin, it was not that the enemy were even that much better, I was just off my game in some consistent way, whether it be that your aim is slightly off or you are gone to the point where you are trying too hard (believe me this can be a bad thing). I have to say my best Halo is played when i am a sleep deprived zombie following a night shift, I do not think I just do and it works...

You need a minimum 8gb HD space for H4 to work so the 4GB arcade will not run it unless you get extra memory. Also if it is disks next time install the game on the HD/memory and then even if the disk is unreadable for play it will still play off the HD as it can still recognise its a H4 disk despite being unreadable, (this also means less disk spinning so less damage to future disks) Just lost my old xbox 2 weeks ago lasted from 2006 what a truper, survuved beer, drops and all sorts of damage but finally succumbed the RRod, it is a very sad time I miss the hum of the fans lol this new one has no character....

An invisible rank is like no rank at all in many ways, and the lack of both social and ranked playlists makes them even worse. Personally I loved the H2 and H3 systems they were simple and made people care for winning more than anything else, its a pity 343 failed to see one of the main things that made Halo great. The background system if active is no good at matching players of similar skill, actually it must be working in reverse based on what I have experienced. The visible ranks were great you got to see the skill of the players you were up against and that brought an edge to things. I cannot undestand why people are against ranking systems and ranked/social playlists maybe they are new to Halo and missed its hayday or maybe they were more CoD fans but playing this game the current SR rank seems pointless to me personally, its inevitable that everyone wil eventually reach SR130 so its meaningless. Sadly H4 is never going to have a decent or visible ranking system so all we can hope is they learn for H5 and do not make the same mistake

Team Doubles, muliteam, rumble pit, big team objective, snipers, KOH, and others added to playlist. Ranked and social playlists Make the few small changes to balance the OP weapons More maps (though I suppose map packs will take care of this) Penalty for quitting. These are the things I hope for and even a few will make me happ as its shows they are going in the right direction with the game. Guess we shall wait and see....

As said by others the list goes on and on, all I can say is now we have to have patience and see what the big january update actually brings, who knows it might be a game changer, as with others I have my doubts but shall try to reserve them to myself until after the 21st.

If you had your acc. on your bro's xbox and you dl'd it on that then it will be in your profile download list, and you can just redownload from recent downloads. Otherwise the good news is hat they come out for all players on the 21st jan

To be honest with all weapons unlocked at SR50 and just a few specializations after that I do not see the point in Double XP, once your maxed you are maxed so just enjoy the journey, there is nohing worse than playing and getting points for no reason with nothing to unlock, so why rush to this point. This CoD system was perhaps the only thing they should never have copied as it is pointless in a Halo game, I wish they had the old ranking system from Halo 3 back. But back on topic no need for double xp as it is unnessecary

Does it???? I think the LR is pretty much perfect, it is dead accurate, its got ood kill power and is very easy to use. It might be a bit slow and poor unscoped but it is a long range rifle at the end of the day, its more a case of the DMR (its equivalent being too good). I have a lot of kills with it in BTB and find it fine as is.

They are essentially the new mauler thus the lack of the mauler.... they mised mauler and PP and came up with the Boltshot. I have to agree the only difference is them making it into a starting weapon but then again the PP is one now so meh...

I have to say that seeing part of his face was not something I wanted, that was in my mind the final moment of the Halo franchise if ever.... they intend on making 2 more games and yet they have revealed the geatest secret in their first, I know they were trying to make an impression but I think that was just a cheap shot to have something no other game had. Its a bit like the stig for anyone who has watched BBC Top Gear, for years he was the man in the helmet, almost mythical and the day he revealed his face everyone hated him for it.. it destroyed something special. Unfortunatley that hope that the final act of the storyline will be a glimpse of the face of the chief is gone to some extent and well something we can never have back. I for one am dissapointed it was a cheap trick and one that I think failed.

The funny truth is that no matter what they do it will now be too little too late, the numbers on line are very low and they are just the playes that will keep playing it till the next one comes out. They needed all these things from word go but released an unfinished product. Those who have left for other games will not return (a few might but not many), so we who play at the moment are the Halo community, maybe they will learn from this for Halo 5 but thats all we can hope for. They have lost millions of customers to date and the only fix for that is a time machine and to be honest based on their building of this game even if they developed one I would not let them use it fo fear of what they would have messed up or not finished (we could be back with the Dinosaurs lol). I enjoy the game and will coninue to play it but they did miss a lot and have paid the price for that.

The difference between winning and losing in this game is a stat and a few points!! Thats it, and yes the better team win however a couple of good players can still carry a bad team.. playing against a better team is the best way to improve, playing a bunch of easy to kill noobs might be some peoples idea of fun but at the end of the game you have no good sense of achievement. I miss the days of H3 and taking on a group of lvl 50's, it was hard but fun and if you won well now that was the ****. Sure I love gettin lots of medals and lots of kills, I cannot imagine why you would play this game if you didn't??? Yes we saw your discussion on the topic a page ago and we know you do not want any system that hurts you for quitting because then you might have to play against a better team instead of some noobs (honestly quitting 1 in 5!!). So I guess its time for others opinions and any decent ways of solving the issues (Read original post and you will see the related issue)..

Weirdly lately on any smaller map in swat I just use magnum, once you get used to it it is insane, I am playing better now than ever before at swat thanks to the magnum, its just so easy to use and its fire rate means you can get away with not getting the first shot in. The choise in the Poll is not very accurate as the magnum is a Swat machine when ya get the hang of it.

Wow you must be the god of validiy so.. what does our team mates being bad have to do with having fun??? actually what does winning or losing have to do with having fun???? I have fun win or lose as do most people, this is a game and there is little or no difference between winning and losing except a stat. Nobody including myself forces me to stay in games where my team are bad infact its quite fun as you are challenged way more, it kinds brings me back to days of competitive Halo.. I played 6 BTB rounds this morn where my team lost them all, I was top killer on my team each ound by at least twice the next guy and I was having great fun. Nothing better than the word KILLJOY coming on screen. Your arguments for quitting are invalid as they are selfish sad stat saving excuses.. If you do not quit much then the system of banning would not affect you. Stop trolling and let the topic be discussed.
