ARE YOU READING THIS 343 INDUSTRIES?! PROOF THAT THIS IS WHAT THE FANS ******* WANT!! I have been praying, begging and literally dreaming and fantasizing about that game ever since i read the damn book and the way I see it in my head it works even more than any other halo title. The way I would make it would be so that the campaign would start with the master chief on the mission to destroy that navigational core on that UNSC spaceship, once that was done it would cut to Fred and the spartan IIs on the surface of reach, and then back to the master chief on halo and so on and so forth until they eventually met up with each other you know. You enable 4 player co-op locally and up to six player co-op on xbox live and you make it so your buddies can actually play as real SPARTAN IIs like Kelly, Will, Joshua , Linda and Grace and all the other SPARTAN IIs that show up in the book. Keep some of the armor power ups, add a couple of new ones, make the sprint and jump-roll natural abilities to the spartan (I mean come on theyre spartans they shouldnt need an armor ability to do that, its degrading and humiliating to a spartan man, maybe make a powerup to make them faster or jump higher) make a bigger arsenal (FPS are about two things, guns and shooting people, so why such a small arsenal of guns?) by bringing back all the old weapons like the battle rifle ALONG with the DMR, give the player some options and variety for his weapon of choice you know, bring back the smg but work on that sucker a little bit so its not completely worthless and add some new weapons man... if the spartans can get theyre own damn ******* special armor and a freaking laser named after them .... how the **** do you expect me to believe they cant get an LMG thats easier to manuever than that monstrosity of a gatling gun, come on man some more variants of the other weapons; talk with eric nylund and have him give you a list of all the weapons hes ever mentioned in the books that way if the player's an assault rifle type of guy, he has multiple options on what kind of assault rifle he can use, same for LMGs, SMGs, BRs, Snipers, etc. I mean come on its the year 2552, theyre facing an alien galactic empire bent on destroying humanity and youre telling me the UNSC has less weapons than the Army does now? ****** pleeeeeaaaaaseee! Weapon customization, im not talking about ripping off the call of duty customization system but think about it, would it really hurt you to let the players put a suppressor on his gun? maybe a bigger clip? or some longer barrels for better accuracy? Maybe some special rounds you can unlock to dish out some damage? If you just allow those 4 i can guarantee you the player will be sattisfied, its not much but its something for him to create his own preferred strategy. For ****'s sakes please make a water based vehicle already i mean come on, honestly. Its overdue, you name it the stingray put a turret on the back of your choice (gauss, gattling gun or rockets or maybe even grenades like the one in the hawk in halo reach) and call it a day man, its not that hard. Leave the armor customization feature that way not only does it allow the player to create his/her own spartan but it allows you to design all the different spartans in a way that you can tell them apart. Do that and base the campaign on the events of first strike a long with a full remake of halo CE within THAT campaign, if need be add a couple of missions from the points of view of other spartans you're gonna get hands down THE best halo title ever. I am willing to puy my life on the line for this.

I couldnt agree more, ever since they announced Halo 2 to begin with ive been hoping for some campaign related to the books and halo reach looked like it was finally heading in that direction but when i read the coverage on game informer I swear to god I almost ended up not buying the damn game, that storyline is a ******* abortion that never happened. When the **** are they going to realize that Halo: First Strike and 'Ghosts of Onyx' have the most amazing mindblowing ideas for halo campaigns EVER? I am willing to bet my ballsack shortly followed by my life that if they made a game with a campaign covering the events of first strike it would instantly be hands down the best god damn ******* FPS EVER!! And not only that but theres enough material in there to make a really long decent campaign and thats always been the achiles heel of FPS games; short campaigns. What pisses me off even more is that people give you the whole 'well if you want that so bad then why dont you do it yourself' and im just thinking 'well maybe if you ****tards actually gave me the ******* job I would!'

Not really, in fact it would go perfect with the story line because ghosts of onyx ended with dr halsey, chief mendez and the rest of the spartans (SPARTAN IIs AND SPARTAN IIIs alike) all stuck inside the edison sphere so the story could pick up right there or maybe even a few days or weeks later with the chief's arrival, he finds them and helps them escape

Halo 4 has been confirmed,the trailer looks awesome but I want to know about this new story arc because if they **** it up, im not playing it .... in other words ... if i dont see any other spartan IIs or Dr Halsey or a story arc thats at least somewhat parallel to any of the books... i will officially declare halo to be dead in my books, hands down, no exceptions. Ive been patient enough, ive been praying for more SPARTAN IIs since they announced halo 2 and here we are 4 games later and no ******* spartan IIs. Ive been literally dreaming of playing through some of the events in the books and here we are FIVE halo titles later and still no ******* campaign with ANYTHING from the books at all. Ive bougt enough ****, dedicated enough game time and waited long ******* enough. Its time someone ******* delivered

Personally Halo CE has the best campaign of all the halo games, in fact i still play it every now and then for a few select missions and regardless of who's making it if 343 and/or bungies overseeing the projecti would hope they make sure that they dont mess up.

The only secret helmet i know about in reach is the skull helmet. From what I know if you buy all the helmets in halo reach along with all the accesories you unlock the pilot skull helmet

I normalllydont go with the current but being an avid dedicated halo fan all of this DOES sound like a load of crap and if it were true I can guarantee you it would be one of the most cheesiest corniest crapppiest gameplot/storylines ever, I personally would hate such a storyline especially because ive read most halo books and there was never anything about that in any of the books. It's ridiculous. Thats got to be one of the worst stories for a halo game ive ever heard.

I apologize for missing this particular section. Greetings everyone, I just registered and I'm rather surprised and somewhat offended by the halo fans and the lack of their presence here. Im an avid halo fan, have been since the first one, have read most of the books and some of the comic books, looking forward to reading the ones I havent, particularly the comic book adaptation of halo the fall of reach. I dont mean to brag but since Ive gotten quite a bit of trash talk from fellow fans on the legitimacy and loyalty of my fandom I'd like to point out that for the launch of Halo reach I preordered the legendary edition, along with the legendary edition strategy guide and I also preordered the halo reach edition console, all of which was paid in full by the time of the midnight launch, for which I arrived at 10 am the previous day to guarantee my num 1 spot. Im a writer, an avid gamer and an aspiring video game designer/creative director. I hope you guys do a better job than bungie and deliver on some of the expectations they failed at.

anyone whos read ghosts of onyx should know that the planet in the legendary ending of halo 3 is micro dyson sphere that dr halsey discovered with the remaining spartan IIs and spartan IIIs. I kept waiting for an expansion pack of 3 to 4 missions in which the master chief goes in, meets up with them and then they escape on a forerunner ship similar to the one that the prophet of truth escaped on at the end of halo 2. Your take on how the game would start sounds pretty cool, but i think its be even more awesome if it starts out with a cutscene of the master chief fighting his way through those sentinels, and then he runs out of ammo so he jumps on top of one of the sentinels and rips off its sentinel beam to use it as a weapon.

I think a remake of halo CE would also be a good place for you guys to start, obviously you have to add to it, you know like new weapons and armor, maybe make the campaign a bit longer.

I actually think thats a pretty cool idea, especiallyfor infection/zombie games. But what I think would be totally off the walll freaken awesome would be a new forge world, bigger than the one in halo reach, and you make it by compiling together key areas from the missions in the first halo game. There's 3 missions for which I keep playing the original halo game: Silent Cartographer, Assault on the control room and the second mission which is called halo. If you guys found a way to merge all some of the areas from these missions together efficiently i can guarantee that the halo community would go ape****, especially the ones whove been playing it since the first one. Nostalgia is a hell of a thing if used right.
