As a pickup or ordinance weapon, it's perfectly fine, but as a loadout secondary weapon, it's far too powerful. No secondary should be capable of killing someone in one shot.

The AR is a close range weapon. Plus, the DMR is very easy to spam with. You have to be careful when taking on DMR users at mid range.

Roland. He at least provides some comic relief, and he annoys Miller, whom I find to be annoying.

Maybe people finally noticed that CoD is just the same game with a different campaign and different looking weapons.

I've had 13 year olds call me a bad kid all the time on MW3, probably because I kill them 10 times in a match and I don't need silenced weapons and all the stealth perks, they probably are just trying to look cool because they think they're MLG material with those .6 K/Ds and what not... I've never heard it in Halo, though, but I once was called a nubcake for killing someone with an AR.

The first time I ever played it was in 2005, but I didn't start to play it regularly until 2009, when ODST came out. Ever since, I've loved the series enough to buy every game in the series and I have to say I've loved them all.

I absolutely love how the OP's new point on what makes Halo 4 bad is population. Under 250K is bad? Are you serious? Not all great games are going to have huge populations, and vice versa. Take CoD as an example.

It makes sense considering we're just starting to see some people hit SR 130.

Along with that, the people who love Halo 4 are more likely to be found simply playing the game rather than being on the forums.

@Delplen9 I'll make sure to put it up as soon as I can access the file. And yes, it was very tough for Master Chief to kill her. The only reason he actually went through with it is because she nearly killed 3 other Spartans. But I will make sure to get the script up. I have missions laid out along with a full script and character bios. I'll get it up in the next day or so for you.

If people are going to talk about Halo 4, why don't they just post in the Halo 4 forum? It seems like the game is being talked about more here than in its own forum.

Well, one thing is certain: Chief won't want another AI companion. At least the way she really went out is better than what I originally thought of. In my version of the Halo 4 campaign (which I wrote in 2010, if you want to see the whole thing let me know, I'll try to find the file), Chief actually destroyed Cortana.

There's nothing that can be done about the complaining, honestly. Developers can't cater to everyone. Besides, this kind of complaining is nothing new. It was like this for Halo 3, ODST (not that much, though), and Halo Reach as well. I don't know if you ever saw it, OP, but the Halo Reach forum on bungie.net was an absolute clusterf**k of complaining.

I had an idea for Halo 4 way back when Reach was new, but then the game was made, obviously. I'll think of something for this, just give me time. In the meantime, I guess I'll throw some ideas out for multiplayer: 1. Make the Battle Rifle a 4 shot kill weapon like it was in Halo 2 and 3. 2. Bring back the Hornet and/or Falcon. 3. Bring back the skill ranks (since people seem to be complaining so much about it). 4. Bring back armor that's unlocked by getting achievements. 5. Dedicated servers. 'Nuff said. 6. Make a community playlist that consists of custom games and maps created by players. 7. Put enough maps in the shipped game so that DLC doesn't need to be released 2 months after the game is released. 8. Improve Spartan Ops (meaning give it an actual objective) or just leave it out altogether.

Just not playing won't get anywhere with 343 regarding an update of any kind. And a lot of people like Halo 4 as it is. I'll probably end up playing Halo 4 tomorrow anyway.

MS says they're sending messages to the Xbox Live accounts of those who still haven't gotten codes. Or at least they say that...
