  1. Always. Wanna know why? Because if I don't at least attempt to communicate, I can't complain about losing.
  2. Wait, what? The DMR hasn't even been IN this discussion.
  3. Always love Doubles! Maybe it's just me, but myself and one of my friends played and wrecked, I mean ABSOLUTELY WRECKED the other teams we played. I can't tell if the Matchmaking is weird of if I've gotten that much better.
  4. "I would not put myself through the torture you lot seem to be enduring." This is my favorite thing ever.
  5. Try not to revive these "dead threads" unless they actually breed discussion But while we're here, all of the codes have been sent out (obviously), so that's not an issue anymore. I do wish that customs were more... customizable.
  6. Do I think the boltshot is powerful? Yes. Do I like it? No. Why? Because I'd rather out BR/DMR my opponents from range than to try and fight up close. It's not that I don't like the Boltshot, I just won't use it.
  7. Microtransactions in sixty-dollar games are gross, plain and simple. Mass Effect 3 was ok, because you were all working on the same team and it only BENEFITTED players, you were never dominating other players. I still didn't like it, but I accepted it. Dead Space 3 was kinda gross. You could pay to get more resources in addition to having to pay for extra bots and to decrease the time it took to find resources and such. On that same level, it's a single-player (or co-op) game, so it's not a huge deal. If someone wants to buy their way through the game and ruin their experience, go for it. But the moment you can pay for BETTER equipment and more powerful weapons in order to DOMINATE other people, it's too much. I really hope that Bungie isn't the company who royally screws this up.
  8. I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring and suggest something. I'm not sure if it has been done of the site before, but following up with Sweaty's idea of including the forge maps from contests in community playdates, I was wondering if we could maybe do a little bit of a spinoff of that idea. In short, it would be a 4v4 Infinity Slayer forge contest (like the one we have going on now), except that the winner would be chosen by the community, and not just by voting for your top three. There would be criteria that the forgers would have to try and perfect, and then the community (who would play on each map a couple of times in teams of 4) would evaluate the map on a scale of 1-10. In additon, this could be some sort of 4v4 (best of three) tournament, played on these different maps. The categories could be things like map flow, aesthetics, balance, and other things like that. Whoever has the most points at the end would win the contest. Again, not sure if something like this has been done, but it'd be a fun way to integrate the more hardcore players with the hardcore forgers (and everyone in between)!
  9. Obviously you have lots of things going on, I think everyone knows and respects that. I think I speak for everyone when I say that it's totally ok to take time off for that stuff, and also we can't wait to have you back!
  10. 1. I enjoy PC much more. I'm always a fan of mouse and keyboard, and there's way more to do on the PC, not to mention that the crafting table is actually fun on the PC rather than just a medium for getting your supplies. 2. Of course! My friend and I LAN on a daily basis. We just started a new world yesterday and we're going to keep going with it. 3. The first time I discovered a massive fortress/cavern underground. I never have been super into Minecraft, but at that moment, I realized the scope of this game (especially on PC). 4. Diamond Ore, mostly because I pee my pants whenever I see one. 5. Ocelots.
  11. Vehicles never appeal to me, mostly because I know that when I'm in one, there's a 99.9% chance that I will die while in it. That being said, use them. I finally stopped giving a crap and used it, and my K/D went up spectacularly.
  12. I would run into a couple here and there on Halo 3, nothing too much though. I always got my butt kicked anyway.
  13. I don't mean to play the Devil's advocate here, but it seems to me like Machinima creators should be working around the game mechanics, not the other way around. I love Machimia and appreciate what the creators do. I still would like heavier support for Machinima makers, but I don't think that this is really on 343. They made a game (and a good one at that) and movie makers should work around it.
  14. Seriously? I've never understood speed runs.
  15. People just didn't pursue the he Halo 4 music as much as the others. I don't know why though, it's gorgeous music.
  16. I'll be sure to add you up. Good luck sir.
  17. Of course. I've only ever played it on 360 so when I got the PC version, my friend and I LAN'd for a while and it was freakin' incredible. Within the first few hours I found a massive cavern. We've yet to go in but we will soon. Good stuff! I am used to mouse and keyboard as well as a controller though.
  18. I still submit that Halo 4's 117 is the best Halo song I've ever heard. http://youtu.be/DCrL76vGpNA
  19. Balance could become a huge issue though. Let's be honest, when you give someone two weapons instead of one, you fire more bullets which equals more damage. Could easily become overpowered.
  20. I feel you OP, I do. I love the game, but it does tend to wear on you after a while. If I may be so bold, I would encourage you to get into these forums more and become a frequent and dedicated member. We are always looking for people with good ideas and opinions. Just make sure to keep a cool head and an open mind
