  1. I think that they will have regular FFA, but it's not in for the exact same reason that Team Snipes or KoTH isn't. It's part of a hopper, and they will be added in a future update (hopefully soon). As for Regicide, I love it. I feel like it's a nice twist on FFA, and it almost promotes a strategy of not taking the lead too soon, until the very end. That, or you have to play extra smart since you know people will be coming.
  2. Honestly it's not even a "fixable" thing because this is how it should be. If power weapons were easy to come by, well, they wouldn't exactly be power weapons, now would they. You've gotta play smart with them, not just run out and go crazy.
  3. Why is it that every time someone tries to point out the positives of a game, or someone disagrees with anything you say, they're a stupid fanboy. Seriously, just stop.
  4. Yeah, it'd be extremely pointless. If you can walk across Ragnarok and NOT see the Mantis, you're probably blind.
  5. This is a very passive-aggressive post. And if you're being serious... Far Cry 3.
  6. These posts are everywhere. At least it's dying down a little bit... a few weeks ago it was unbearable.
  7. http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/21559-halo-4-fileshare-2013/ *facepalm* It's at the top of the website...
  8. Jesus, dude... he literally gave you a suggestion, and a legitimate one at that. So why shoot him down and be all snarky? He's right. If you are having trouble with grenades, use the ability that they put in the game for this exact purpose!
  9. I don't necessarily agree with everything said here, though I do recognize that the population has been down versus Halo 3. That being said, there were much fewer games to compete with back when Halo 3 came out. I would also say that I think the game is good. It has problems, and I'm not trying to hide it. But also, I can tell you that the intent of people working in games, not just Halo 4 but every game, their intent isn't "let's make a mediocre game". I'm not saying that Halo 4 is mediocre, but sometimes it seems like people honestly think that the people who work on games purposely put bugs in the game, or whatever. It's pretty ridiculous.
  10. Yep. I know that we differ in opinions, but you usually bring up valid points, even if I don't always agree with them
  11. I would say so. If everything is correct, your NAT type, your party size, you should be good to go. It has to be the hardware itself.
  12. Seriously? Did you even read his post? OP, I differ with you in the way that I really do enjoy Halo 4. I do, however, agree with your point. My win/loss ratio is hitting about a .6 right now, even though I outperform pretty much everyone on the opposing teams. I'm talking I get thirty kills and somehow still lose. By that margin, I should be at a much higher ratio. I feel like, as much as I really do enjoy the game, this is one of the shortcomings of Halo 4 and the goofy matchmaking decisions. I still enjoy the hell out of matchmaking, but it does make me scratch my head a little bit.
  13. If you think that's bad, remember back to every other Halo game where all the aliens spoke in English? That got kind of rediculous. I mean, I understand that the Grunts were kind of charming in annoying sort of way, but come on. The jerk store? I love Joe Staten's voice as much as the next guy but this was kind of strange. http://youtu.be/s3yDFkByo9A
  14. I posted this on my thoughts on the soundtrack: http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/21454-soundtrack/ Also, I'd like to hear some more of that weird, alien-like electronic sound instead of some of the orchestral pieces. Don't get me wrong, I love the strings, but that alien-esque sound is what the Halo soundtrack should be to me.
  15. I've yet to experience this. I wish you were having a better experience though! Always report the player, but also keep in mind that the way the killcams are right now, someone who appears to be doing some sort of wallhack is probably playing legitimately and the killcam is just buggy.
  16. So I agree with pretty much all of your points. That being said, there were so many good things about the campaign that make it worth the 9/10 rating that it keeps getting. I just posted about how all of the objective-based stuff gets really, really repetitive, which it does. That's my least favorite part of the campaign for sure.
  17. No. People just ruined the missions. That's the beauty of Spartan Ops. It's like the campaign, just less, plus the missions are shorter so if someone is screwing around it's not detrimental to the experience.
  18. I enjoy both... And I'm all about Far Cry 3!
  19. Both Borderlands 2 and Far Cry 3 are absolutely phenomenal.
  20. I can remember the events of 9/11, though they are foggy because I was younger. This will stay with me for a long time. Everyone is in my hearts.
  21. Use the search bar please. Seriously though, there have to be fifty threads asking this exact same question.
  22. Was about to post this, but I decided to try and stay out of it. I am, however, supporting of your view of useless Star Wars characters.
  23. I love the Halo 4 campaign. It, other than Halo CE, is probably my favorite Halo campaign. I've only got one problem with it. All of the contrived ways they decide to implement the objectives. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the objective waypoints on occasion, and Halo has been known to do that. But I'm a little bit disappointed in the way that they introduce each objective. The Halo universe is a big one so I would have hoped that they could've come up with a couple of things that were more interesting in some parts of the game. The main objective that stands out to me is one of the very first. When you are on the Forward Unto Dawn, and you walk outside and need to open the bay doors for the missile... it just stops. Seriously? As soon as Cortana said that "The doors are jammed" I just wanted to beat my head against a wall. I was hoping for some sort depth, like the Covenant are jamming them or they disabled the electronics or something, but to just have them jam... it seemed kind of... convenient. There are a couple of other story beats like this that made me cringe. Most of the time they were quality, but on occasion I just had to grimace. What do you all think?
