    Not really. This is how games are nowadays. It's a business, and the people at Microsoft are businessmen. The maps are fun, so in that aspect they succeeded. Lot's of people bought it, so they succeeded again. As unfortunate as it is, this isn't a new concept and it'll be happening more and more as time goes on.

    This makes me happy. I'm glad that someone can voice their positive opinion on the game rather than complain about it. I'm with you OP, I'm having a blast playing Halo 4.

    Yep, that's about right. I'm on these Community Forums to help out the Halo 4 community, to meet fellow gamers, and to just have a good time. I don't care if people complain or whatever and say that Halo 4 is "a failure", nor am I an fanboy. I understand the shortcomings of the game, but I also can see that there is a lot of promise in the future, and I also know that this game is a blast to play. I'm having a great time... I'm not sure what else matters.

    I've found that they were pretty dang useless. Seemed to me that the only time someone was and Elite was because it was a bit tougher to get headshots on them in SWAT.

    I find that the easiest way is to move with teammates. If you try and fly solo, you'll either come up huge (not so often) or fail miserably (much more often).

    Totally. They're fearsome enemies, and it's nice to fight the Covenant and something else that ISN'T the Flood.

    Oh god, we're seriously going with the "Assault Rifle is OP" thread? The AR is now a viable weapon, whereas in previous Halo's it was never a weapon that was actually taken seriously. It's finally a decent option to play with, that doesn't make it overpowered.

    Why does is freaking matter how many people are online? There's plenty enough to play, so what does it matter. Play the game which you have the most fun on.

    Been playing Bumper Jumper since Halo 3, I can't play without it now.

    Maybe slightly, but if you land all eight shots, you'll kill faster than a DMR does.

    From my experience, it's not actually lag, it's slow-down. To understand the difference (it's a common mix-up) I refer you to this video: http://youtu.be/8xVjGSbleYw I've also experienced it. I hope it can be fixed, though I'm not sure that it can be...

I've been trying to say that for a while but I never actually could find the words Games need to change, it's how the industry works. If games stayed the same, everyone would go crazy...

    Range. I find that people who complain about the boltshot don't use the magnum. To win against the boltshot, you've gotta stay farther away, and the Magnum does that really well.

    I think that it should stay in, and I think it'll come back. It's a fairly prominent MLG gametype, so I can't see it staying away for a long time.
