Yeah we do have lots of tools against vehicles, but they also spawn much more frequently. I love the way that 343 did BTB in this game because if you want to play on foot you can, but if you are the kind of person who just wants to get in vehicles, you can pretty much do that the entire game. It's more vehicle-focused than other Halo's.

The Hardlight is a cool idea, but it could use some tweaking in the execution. I play on Bumper Jumper and my Armor Ability is mapped to the X button, so it's almost impossible for me to use the shield effectively. I can see it being useful for other control schemes however.

While this is true with Team KoTH, the greater problem is people who play FFA KoTH and literally lob grenades into the Hill, but never make any type of move to score actual points. It's frustrating for other players who actually want to play the objective.

Yep. The best part is that there's an influx of people who take the time to actually sign up for the forums, just to come and post about this once and never be heard from again. Oh well, I can (and will) do better things with my time.

Do you think with more patches and updates coming out that we will see the a rise in Custom Games? In Halo 3, it seemed to me like Customs were a huge part of the game (I have about 2000 games ranked, 750 social and about the same number of Customs) but after Reach they have significantly fallen off the map it seems. I hope we see them rise, though I don't think that we'll see the Halo 3-esque popularity that we saw before.

I haven't really experienced a problem with them. I don't play a ton of Big Team but they seem to be working fine in Regicide and other gametypes played on foot.

What else do you expect? KoTH is a massive grenade fest and people like multikills. I'd love a FFA Slayer playlist but I refuse to play FFA KoTH.

I love the flood type, though I'm not a custom games person, at least not anymore.

I just don't see customs coming back as strong as they used to... But yeah, it'd be nice if they made the flood gametype more malleable.

Yep pretty much, though I'd stay away from that thread title. Lots of people won't watch the video and come in all hot and ready to yell at you for being stupid... I understand the sarcasm though.

Oh I know, it's definitely fun, I just never go in there expecting to win because, well, it's pretty much luck. I'd love the FFA throwback for the Oddball but I don't want to deal with the KoTH.

I don't ever understand the argument for the boltshot being overpowered... the range is only slightly larger than melee range.

I might be alone in saying this, but I really didn't like the Arbiter as a character, not to mention the fact that he just ran around looking like a moron all through the Halo 3 campaign...

Gross. I hated the Arbiter as a character, not to mention that he did absolutely nothing as your ally.

First off, let me say that I appreciate the post I've been playing Bumper Jumper since Halo 3 and that has always served me well. Nothing is perfect, but the default is also good.

It'd be nice, but if that was the case then I would imagine that the level cap would have no point... so I would doubt it.

In a couple of days, you should receive an email at the email connected to your account. It has a code that will let you unlock the rest of the specializations (as long as you played the game before November 20th).

Yep, this has happend to me as well. Not that I could really care less... if my entire team is just hanging out on the bridge, and that's the only way that I am getting across... it's suicide central.
