It's how the world seems to be. You can't please anyone, and that's why I stopped trying. Seems to me like any given persons opinion is ALWAYS incorrect, and a given company "just needs to do this, that, or the other" to fix the game, "it's that easy!" I'm all for legitimate discussion of topics. A forum is for DISCUSSION and the EXCHANGE OF IDEAS, many of which will end up in conflict (which isn't a bad thing, conflict actually breeds some of the most ingenious solutions and brings out the worst AND best in communities). It's things like this post, though, that just don't make sense. As to the OP (who will never read this because he/she created the account to troll/vent and not come back), I really wish your Halo 4 experience was better. I want EVERYONE to love games, because games are WORTH LOVING, even if you don't think the game was great. It's a work of art, and there are just as many positives to take from this game as there are negatives. These posts have been done, and will continue to be done. The discussions have been had (and are currently being had) all over the place. However, many of these discussions take place after a structures, honest, and fair criticism of a piece of content, not just general bad-natured trolling. That's my rant. And that's my challenge to the 343i Community Forums community. Have these discussions. Challenge the ideas of your fellow gamers and be creative together, all while being respectful! Take this community from where we are and make it even better and brighter by holding each other to a higher standard, and do the same to OTHER communities as well. "It's the people that need to change the most". Couldn't have said it better myself.

BioShock Infinite. I absolutely love the BioShock games. The universe is great, and while Rapture is one of the coolest environments in gaming, I'm grateful for the change in Infinite and I can't wait to see how it pans out. The gameplay demo they game was incredible.

I'd say that the primary reason for bringing Elites back would be for Machinema people. Other than that, I don't really see the point because they were seldom used in MM (unless it was in swat >_< )

I think it's important to remember that the videos shown are all concept videos. Nothing certain at all. I like the ambition and I'd really like this to be a success.

I'm actually kind of with you. It works for me, but lots of times out of a reaction I'll slam the melee button down and leave it out of pure adrenaline. I'd rather then up the amount of time you have to hold the button.

Yep. It works both ways, that's for sure.

It ultimately doesn't matter. People who get killed by it will still call it OP, and the negative people are always louder than the positive. I was ok with how it was before. Maybe it'll be better now, it probably will, but people will still complain.

I'm definitely with you. I'm saying the execution isn't there, I think most can agree on that. On the other hand, I appreciate that 343 tried to go another direction with the game, even if it isn't comparatively great. Also, welcome to the forums! I hope you'll stay with us

I think that, again, there are differing opinion on that. I think that, while CoD makes lots of money, the game really isn't great. The CoD franchise is legendary, but the CoD games are not at this point. People buy them because that's what they think they should do. I can tell you right now that people won't stand for CoD games that just recycle gameplay and textures over and over, which is what is starting to happen. I like that Halo is trying a different direction. You're also right by saying that CoD plays better than Halo 4 does right now, because it really does. That being said, I'd much rather play Halo 4 than CoD, and you want to know why? Because I can appreciate Halo 4. The game is unique, unlike the CoD games are. There are lots of different perspectives though.

That's the ultimate question, isn't it? When is it time for a game to move on, to try some new stuff? I will agree that Halo 4 isn't the best Halo. There are lots of problems with it, lots of things to make better and to improve on. From my standpoint, games have to splinter from their original formulas at some point in order to not just be successful, but to actually BE LEGENDARY. I agree with a lot of the things you are saying in your post. I also think that this was the PERFECT time for Halo to try something new, to go in another direction, because there is a new company making it now! 343 isn't Bungie. They don't want to be. They needed to make Halo 4 THEIR game, and they did, albeit not flawlessly. I'm looking forward to the next Halo's that will come out in the future. In the meantime, I'm enjoying playing this one.

Always looking for some more fellow ballers I tend to play tournament paintball, because I played semi-professionally as well as playing for my University, but my roots are really in woodsball and I still absolutely enjoy it! Mission Accomplished

I'm the same way. I swear by Bumper Jumper and can't play without it anymore. There are plent of other abilities to use that are good, without having to sacrifice that fidelity of control by changing from Bumper Jumper.

Hey everyone! Many of you know me as LiQuid BioniX, some of you podcast listeners know me as Caleb. Either way, here I am! I've been around the site for a while, as many of you know, but I never actually made an Introduction post, I just kind of showed up one day. Creepy, right? Anyway, like I said, my name is Caleb. I go to Illinois State University, and play rugby, paintball, and ski competitively. I am also on the drumline for the university and march drum corps when I have the time (and money). If I'm here, I obviously love Halo! I've been playing ever since Halo CE. I remember going over to my buddies house when I was about 11 or 12 and beating Halo CE over and over. Some of my best friends have come through me playing Halo, but more broadly, from gaming in general. For those of you who don't know, I also am on the 343i Community Forums Member Podcast. Basically, the podcast is just myself, Sarge, SykoWolf, and Minuette keeping everyone up to date on what's happening in the forums, and also in the gaming world in general, more specifically in Halo 4, though we talk about any gaming news that we want to!
