  5. I didn't even know that was a thing! That's pretty awesome! I'll be sure to let you know if I capture anything. Also, welcome to the forums!
  6. I love it. I just wish that it sounded more powerful...
  7. I think that, especially if you are playing Regicide, Promethean Vision is the best. However, I do enjoy the Hardlight Shield and the Regeneration Field as well.
  8. I still think that the ghost can be used extremely effectively. However, I do agree with your comment about splatters and how they aren't frequent enough. It does seem tough to get them.
  9. Plain and simple, yeah. Drop in, drop out play is how multiplayer experiences need to be. It's a good system, and people should be getting used to it.
  10. All you can really do is report the person and hope that something gets done. You've just gotta play it calm. If you decide to scream at them, it just encourages them.
  11. It's strange. It's a different kind of lag for me. It's not like the enemies are in one place and then all of a sudden in another, it's more like I'll tap jump and it takes a split second for the command to register, THEN it jumps. I can still play the game fine, but it's like the responsiveness went down a touch.
  12. Yeah, Forge World was actually one of the main points that Bungie focused on in Halo Reach. It was a fantastic addition, but it also took a massive amount of time and effort to create it, and I think that it showed in other parts of the game that might not have been exactly up to par.
  13. Yep pretty much. There are some issues with the game that will get worked out with time, but all in all, Halo 4 is a fantastic game that I think all Halo fans enjoy.
  14. That is absolutely true. It's kind of the same with Grifball. As much fun as it is to just destroy people with that gravity hammer, it kind of ruins the curve on the number of kills per game...

  16. Welcome to the friendliest (sort of) corner of the Halo Universe! And I absolutely love Halo 4!
  17. I would absolutely love it, but it probably won't happen. I don't think that there is a game that has the AI capabilities to successfully implement this idea yet.
  18. I'm guessing that they will increase the cap if many people hit it soon, although I'm only at SR-30. Granted, I don't try and just grind out Spartan Ops with Double XP, so the experience will go much farther for me. I don't like just grinding those missions purely for experience points. Then it becomes a WoW dungeon, and we don't need to travel down that road...
  19. I especially agree with sprint. People assume that it's just trying to be more like Call of Duty, but in reality, a massive portion of players were using sprint in Halo Reach and not experiencing the other Armor Abilities. So why not just give it to everyone? Plus it speeds the game up a lot and, for me at least, makes it much more exciting.
  20. Yeah, i'm not exactly sure how people are getting 12k experience from one run. I've reached the rank that I am at (SR-30) by soloing the first five Spartan Ops and then playing War Games. I've received a maximum of 2,800 experience points from doing a Spartan Op that takes twenty to thirty minutes, when I could easily gain that same experience by playing War Games one time. I feel like if you solo a Spartan Op, you should get much more experience.
  21. I think that this game was more focused on the relationship between the Chief and Cortana, not about the squads of Spartans or the ODST's. I actually enjoy the feeling of isolation that you have in the majority of the game because if adds to that feeling that you have about Cortana and how she has been there for the Chief in the craziest of battles. It adds a different feeling, that's for sure. I think that there was a significant lack of not only ODST's and other Spartans, but other troops in general in this game in order to better convey that message of isolation.
  22. I'm sorry to say that you aren't going to be getting anywhere on these forums. You'd be better off taking this to the Waypoint forums. And the best part of this? The XP cap is pretty trivial. There is a "true competitive ranking" system in place, it is just hidden and won't be publicly visible until January (fact check?). So the better you play, the more skilled you'll become, and the more badass you will be in January.
  23. I completely agree with your analysis. Especially since this is not only 343's first attempt at a Halo game, it's their first game that they've ever put out completely on their own! And I think that, while there are a lot of vehicles in the multiplayer matches, but I feel like this can be a good thing in the long run. It promotes the people who like to play support classes more (i.e. using overcharged plasma pistols, plasma grenates, etc.) to go out there and turn the tide of the match. That being said, there are still plenty of people for the marksmen in the game to pick off on the ground!
