  1. I know I appreciate the thread for sure, and I'm not saying it's someone's fault that things get argumentative. People get heated up about this stuff because they love it a lot, as I can see you do! Stuff gets snappy sometimes and it's good for people to step back and think for a while. I like some of the discussion that's going on, that's for sure. If it was that easy/if you were this big of a genius, you'd be working there. It's not just a little switch you can flick, it takes finesse and lots of practice and risk to keep a game like this going, both with population and the players in addition to technically.
  2. This makes zero sense. What you're saying is that grenades work and serve a purpose. Settled it. People who throw grenades well and place them professionally will win pretty much every time versus someone who just hocks them at any and every thing.
  3. Huge shout out to Insignia! He does awesome, awesome work for the forums! Thank you 'Sig!

  4. That's a pretty strong statement and a broad generalization. Even though you're pretty much correct.
  5. Seriously. This thread had (and has) potential to breed good discussion, but it's turned into a battle of "I'm right, you're wrong". Discuss, don't argue. I enjoy the boltshot in the game. At most I die twice a match from it, no more than other secondaries. I'm probably just getting extremely lucky with my encounters by not encountering tons of boltshots, but I also play and adjust if I realize the other team is using them.
  6. I feel like you're in the minority by saying that Invasion was your primary gametype. People would rather have competitive playlist, Team Snipers, etc. rather than Invasion. Invasion also takes the most time and work to perfect.
  7. Isn't that the point? Throwing a really good grenade changes the state of the skirmish. It takes just as much skill as anything.
  8. I mean TF2 was never meant to be played on Xbox, at least I don't think. It worked fine mechanically, but you cannot play that with dual joysticks.
  9. At the very least some sort of GameBattles-like integration to keep competitive play going.
  10. The whole thing is great, but it's even better when you're with a bunch of your friends.
  11. Gotta agree with this one. That's the beauty of Ranked vs. Social playlists. It allows for a nice, even balance.
  12. Agreed. Plus, she was super annoying by the end of this game. Almost like Navi. "Hey, listen!"
  13. You know what? If I get beat, that means that someone at that specific time was better than me, whether they used a DMR, AR, or cheesed with the Boltshot and I just couldn't match it. I just say suck it up. Boom.
  14. Ni No Kuni. New JRPG and it's absolutely awesome! Pretty long though, right around 45 hours.
  15. Cool find! I've never been a Crysis fan though. I've always thought that their success was largely based on them saying "our graphics are amazing, no one can run this game" and that's bugged me. Never really got into the story/gameplay.
  16. Microsoft Support literally sends people here.
  17. Haven is my best, and I always get wrecked when playing Vortex.
  18. I'm definitely ready for this! Good find.
  19. I agree with ya. That being said, we've gotta respect opinions because they are entitled to them. Also, I would hardly call this a "ranking" system, at least not in the Halo sense. I really want the 1-50 system to be here, and to be here soon. Very soon.
