I think that your guess is as good as any. BS Angel from 343 tweeted that they were shooting for "early, early January" but nothing has been released yet, so take that with a grain of salt. I wish I could help more! I'm really hoping for a system like that too...

Ok everyone, the podcast needs a new, cool, official name, not the 343i Community Podcast. Something rad, something that the cool kids are saying. Groovy. Post your ideas here! Keep them clean and be semi-serious with them. I'll create a poll with the best ones and everyone can vote on them so we can get a better idea.

Whatever you do, change the name. Fallen Warriors has been done again and again. You'll want a name that comes to a short and somewhat decent acronym (e.g. EGO, FITE etc), something people can say and it doesn't sound weird. Also, the more unique name, the better. Stay away from anything stereotypical. Originality will draw attention.

To me, when people yell play smart, it's when each team is two kills away from victory. Basically, don't rush out in the middle. Pick people off, put shots on them, but don't go crazy and start dying.

This happens all the time. Basically, you've just gotta outcamp them, at least that's what I do. That, or hit them from every angle possible at the same time. Sometimes when I'm playing with my buddies and the other team starts to camp in one area, we just get one or two kills up and run and cheese them out. It's lame, but hey, they're equally as lame. As soon as they come out to play for real, we stop camping and play a real game.

The double XP codes will become invalid starting Feb 1st. Also, do as many commendations and challenges as you possibly can. You'll fly up much faster than by just playing and grinding.

Yeah, Team Doubles will be here in the next two weeks at some point. Nothing else has been released as far as the 1-50 system or Ranked/Social playlists as of now.

I would assume that they are issuing bans just like any company would. No one would just be ok with cheating in games, especially not the developers. I think they're being more quiet about it, but they must be issuing bans.

Nailed it Everyone has had different experiences with the game in the past and with Halo 4 as it is now. I've never actually played truly professionally, though I am still a competitive player. I can see how you'd feel differently about the direction of Halo 4. Hopefully it will get better! I think that everyone can agree on that.

I didn't mean to sound narrow minded, my apologies. I know that there are lots of problems with the game and many things that can be done to improve it. I want Halo to flourish like it once did with Halo 2 and Halo 3. I was just speaking from a very personal level. I enjoy playing the game, and I've been ripped apart for saying so (not by you), so I've become slightly jaded when it comes to other players. Also, welcome to the forums!

I would imagine so. It's already in the game and it's pretty easy to implement. Make sure to head to the Official Halo Waypoint forums to make your voice heard. If enough people say that they are using the control set, it's much more likely that it'll be here to stay. Welcome to the forums, by the way! Also, I see you're from Seattle. Every time someone rips apart Halo 4, I just ask one simple question. Do you have fun? If the answer is yes, then this game was a personal success. If not, maybe it's not for you. I just know that tons of people (including me) are loving this game so it's a success for us. I wish everyone who doesn't like the game would love playing it. I don't dislike them at all, in fact, I really want them to have a great time. Sometimes it gets a bit ridiculous when they don't listen to any reason, but that's not a big deal.
