As I tried to say before, the physical copy is left out to lower the manufacturing and pricepoint cost so the players actually get more for their buck. I must admit, I don't u derstand why having the disc is a must have. The digital copy is for the life of your GT no matter what future XB1 you end up pwning say....five years from now. If your all willing to pay an additional $25-$30 just for that disc...then why not just wait a few months after release and pick up a mint used copy?

Well let's start by clearing up that we are not the official site for 343 Industries. Now no it is not normal nor is it acceptable that it took you so long to get into only 2 matches. But I will say that Microsoft has seemed to have trouble regarding players and connectivity anywhere west of the UK and Europe in general. Your real best bet is to get in contact with 343 over on Halowaypoint. Normally server issues and connectivity problems really do need to be reported there in order for them to guage the situation. I must caution you though, as anhry as this males you, please be sure to post the issue in a detailed respectful manner.

I may be abusive at times yes. I have disregarded rules in certain cases because of lack of proper and direct action ues. But please don't try to insinuate that the things I do take away from what I jave given. That os a high horse statement. Your blatently saying that anything that happens that involves staff members is nothing but 100% compliancy which in of itself is a bold face lie. We can all actively count how many blunders, mistakes and other naughty deeds occured by staff members and mods alike. So yes I take issue with that statement directly. You would have been better off posting "mean people suck". Both that statement and your response can be be viewed as abusive and harsh and also hypocritical. On a side not TD please don't pass reports off as completely accurate or a perfect picture of a scenario or scenarios that have played out. Perhaps you should attend some HR classes or go throigh some real upper management experience. Reports are nothing. Actual repor and member feelings are what count. Not what some members report because it fits an agenda or the moment is being taken advantage of or skewed.

Thats what it "was" supposed to be. One qualification I met years ago. But it turned into a staff only thing, making it impossible for regular members like myself to obtain it.

Please don't call yourself an "animator". It's an insult to people who actually do animation. As for vehicles, it's never as easy as simply asking for it. There is litetally months of work behind just creating one simple driveable vehicle, given the damage permutations, health settings, marker and node setups, effects, etc...
-
I hate to be the big party pooper here, but Im tired of hearing about Machinima groups whine about this. Here is a novel idea.... learn to animate in 3ds Max and do whatever you want without relying on someone elses game engine. Seriously...Machinima is like a Little Tykes version of animating...

I have to disagree Tyrael. Not to toot my own horn but just my posts, knowledge and reputation should have seen me as Legendary ages ago. Imagine how I felt to see people given such a status just because they held a staff position...and not given on merit, contribution or any other forum attribute. Even horrible staffers can be given the title.

With a name like Like Cabooster..,.you'll be Legendary in no time. On a serious note though, what TD said is true. If you can commit to following the same posting style I do you would be better off. I'm not trying to say that you don't contribute in any way, but you could be more detailed and informational with your responses. For example howoften do you ever see me respond or start a post that isn't at least 300+ words long or like a small novel? That is why my ratio is almost 1:1 in numbers.

The Bandana Skull was only first featured in CEA and then again in H2A. The Bandana Skull was placed in CEA because of the difficulty a normal Legendary challenge the game provided to begin with. Halo 2 also had a campaign that was largely almost impossible for some. In terms of difficulty, Halo 1 & 2 are the most difficult in the series. Hence adding the ammo skull to help assist players. Halo 3 - 4 were largely dissapointing in terms of AI and difficulty for me. I found 3 the easiest, followed by 4 then Reach.
-
The reason why it isn't Forgeable is because of the AI that will be present in it. It's easy to shout or demand such things as AI Forging, but it is not as simple as that in reality. Also keep in mind that the game will be shipped off to be mass produced no later than end of August. Even if they wanted to add such things, that leaves no real time for quality control, bug testing or stability.

I have to agree with leaving things the way they are. I was just making a post a few minutes again and nearly lost my shiz cause my name was in purple for the "Users Reading This Topic" part of the page. It must have been a glitch cause on this page my name shows gray. Point is...most of us worked hard to create quality posts and contribite positively to the community to reach our silver/gray status. The problem isn't so much the color system, as it is perhaps the post count required to get the new color? I for one will NOT give up things I worked hard for.

Winry must have paid someone off. I smell shenanigans....lmao. Congrats to everyone who made the list!!
-
My only concern os the "Creating a Topic" to farm likes. Myself included have at times made various posts not with the intent of people liking it, but to achieve awareness and draw members to a particular issue/view or otherwise content that the OP has found important. How will the mods judge what type of post or created topic is of "farming intent". Personally I am not worried about that for myself, but I feel ot's something that would be a good guideline to understand so that members don't make a mistake here and there.

@Melody I love you, you UK cutie!

Halo 2 Vista Aim Assist for Mouse/Keyboard
Twinreaper replied to PtolemaiosIV's topic in Halo 2 + Anniversary
A little late to the party bro. The H2MT have already implimented this fix as well as over a dozen additional fixes and updates to make Halo 2 more playable. Said updates also dont require a seconday application. Do a lottle research next time before you waste your time. And btw.... actual player counts are less than 50 unique GT's daily. So yeah...their is no real population to speak of. -
This is not 343's site, nor do they care, support or care to even acknowledge thwe PC Community. You would have bwttwer luck posting this over at Halowaypoint, their official website and banging your head against a titanium wall.

We're not talking Nintendo or pre bankrupt console companies. Im speaking about Xbox through present. Nintendo always has old system titles playable through the Channel, so it makes physical copies pointless. As for the others you listed, Atari 7800 could indeed play 7200 and earlier carts. Also Sega and Nintendo did have expansion carts that allowed the play of older titles.

Integrated what? All Live does for H2V is hoat a master server list and allow you to communicate with friebds through Live. Server listings can be gathered, listed, hoated abd we can redirect the ganes search address for these entrues, and point them to one of our own. I and the H2MT Team have been working with Halo 2 PC since day one. Live is not needed at all. If anything, it does more harm than good to the game. Did you know yoyr copy uses up unecessary bandwidth by secretly sending and recieving data to about 21 different sites during the tine the game ius running? Yeah, thanks Micrisoft and thanks Live.
-
Im not sure what you think Microsft does...but they don't host servers for Halo 2 PC. All H2V servers are self hosted by players who rent servers or use their own. Live only hosts the server list, activates product keys and allow browsing of the servers. Even if and when Live no longer hosts these features, we have a backup plan in place to make sure the game never dies, similar to what was done with CE

Both Self Destruct and I are artists. But SD.....he is art is INSANE!!! The man is like an art god!

All I can say is that it's either psychological or something else. I watched Halo 4 being played in front of me on a 45" LCD on Xbox One, and I could see no difference in the graphics or gameplay at all compared to the 360. In fact the only thing I did notice, is that things seemed a bit darker but that could have been my settings on my tv.

The root problem is the home network. MAC's are unique to every piece of NIC hardware. Using the MAC workaround provided for the Xbox One in it's advanced Settings menu is nothing mroe than helping idiots setup a "spoofed" proper Home Network for all their devices. Spoofing the MAC by using this setting is the same as properly going into your router and setting up port forwarding and triggering like you should do anyway. It's basic Networking 101. Hate to say this, but statistically it is shown that almost 100% of everyone own inability to connect to the internet or other infrastructure network is the individuals own fault or lack of networking knowledge. And yes I think I know what I am talking about since you know...bachelors in networking and Cybersecurity....just sayin

The reason for the non physical copy with the game bundle is because of price vs cost. They need to offset the cost of the extras by leaving out a disc. It's strictly a marketing/profit thing. It is much simpler to offer physical discs with lesser versions of the game in higher quantities, than produce that many more copies with special editions. And as stated before, the Xbox One requires an install of the game disc anyway, so there is literally nothing to be gained except for maybe trying to sell a physical copy you dont need and still be able to play the game. All Copyright and Consumer Rights still apply even to digital copies. You are still allowed to legally copy the game in any format as a "Personal Backup" regardless of media format.
