Let's also remember that EVERYONE loved and had the same opinions about Halo Reach. Then once it released, it quickly became annoying and player count dwindled. As for Halo 5 being like Halo 3 Caboose? You gotta lay off the LSD! The ONLY similar aspect is same weapon starts. And even using "Equal Starts" doesnt and isnt a justifiable term to use. Any MM match can be made to reflect equal starts via the gametype options.

Co-op is going to have issues and there really isnt anything that could really be done to fix it to make it 100%. Co-Op requires that host and and client "sync" through scripts, a feature left out of Halo 2's scripting engine. Which is why we were never able to get it working through nods or PC with 100% working capacity.

Ok, first off no, we are not in any way affiliated with 343 Industries and we cannot help you with your issue. That being said, if it's a credit earning issue you currently have, I would suggest you reach out to some community members and look into having a few good playdates to try to increase your earning potential. I will say that your comment about catching up to school, leads me to believe that you are more worried about this silly video game than your studies. Which also leads me to believe that THIS is why your parents cut your play time. Far be it from me to lecture someone, but your inability to properly juggle fantasy life from real life is not the problem of the games devs nor anyone else but you.

Anyone who played the original release of Halo 1 - Halo 3:ODST knows better than to allow an AI drive them. The AI has always been buggy when it came to driving and hasnt changed much at all. That's not an issue that can fixed with a simple patch and since it has yet to improve, hopes should not be high at all. With regards to matchmaking, it sounds like your connection which is causing network timeouts, or packet loss, resulting in incomplete matches and inproper loading of the UI. Check your connections if you can, and as always, go CAT5 (ethernet) connection when you can instead of Wi-Fi. While I see how many of you had an issue with MCC, I do NOT agree that you should be given something for free because you purchased it first before someone say, 5 months from now. If I bought an Xbox One next month, then the MCC in April, how is fair that I will have to pay for ODST, but you get it free? And please don't quote some silly "I suffered trauma" or "the game was broken so i deserve something". The same could be said for me, and the various silly complaints I have to endure day in and day out!

Well connectivity issues seem to be a very large problem within the MCC in particular from what i have read previously. It could be as simple as connection, or even a faulty game install on your friends end. He should attempt to uninstall the game, then re-instal and give it a go. If that still fails to solve the issue, then you will want to take it up further over on Halowaypoint.com which is the official outlet for 343i. However, try searching the forums here a bit and see if anyone else has posted something similar with a solution. that's my best advice man.

Oh look, another useless reply from another useless member. Both Ed and Haysus have good points on both their ends of the argument. While Ed's post was a quick round over view to layout how Halo 5 is shaping up to be, he also straight out gave his own opinion of what could make this a great title. On the other end Haysus has also pointed out many ideas and beliefs that DO ring true in the Halo community. One would be blind, not to see all the rage/hate/crying about various AA's and Abilities we already have in Reach and Halo 4. On regular occasion, you will see more negative feedback than positive. Is this indictive of of the overall feeling as a majority of the community? No, it isn't. But one would have to think that if this many people are flaming about how much halo has changed, then wouldn't the people who like it, want to stand up and back what they like? Conclusion, I have to agree with Haysus. I've seen more comments and material than I ever care to talk about, and I do not like the direction halo is heading. Halo 4 was my last Halo. I will NOT buy an Xbox One, nor will i purchase another Halo title outside a PC release. Watching gameplay footage CAN tell you exactly how the game feels and plays. The only way it wouldn't, is if you are a newcomer to the franchise.

No you don't get it. it took 7 years or so maybe a bit less to figure out the exacts of RTH'ing everything in Halo 3. Even bsp extraction and modeling editing didn't quite get figured out till the last year or so. A modified Xbox 360 just allows you to run unsigned code. YOU CANNOT EXECUTE MODDING PROGRAMS while Halo 3 is running. Hence why you need a PC connected to the Xbox 360 running Assembly or another 3rd party app to poke memory. We still can't modify entire maps because that requires a Public/Private Key Pair to encrypt map files. The only other method of currently modding halo 3 is only through game save data or gametype data. And that alone doesn't get you AI. Seriously dude, you better do some research and get some hands on experience with this stuff before you try talking about it.

Ok, still not 343 here buddy. Second, what did you really expect from a collection games that were compiled and designed on x64 architecture? Did you think emulating a 64 bit signed and written game for a console would run flawlessly on on an x86 console?!? Your lucky they were even able to manage to get it to run properly let alone outfitting it with tons of extras. I get the frustration, but name one other company that has ever released a game that spans 5 titles, and placing each said title onto one disc, running it's original engine untouched?

I'm aware of what you need to do to modify Halo game files in-game. Yes it was memory editing via the commonly known way to do it via "Poking". It's all done RTH (Real Time Halo) Which is a feature incorporated by many halo apps such as Assembly, Entity, Horizon etc... Without a computer to attach to the 360 to debug and poke offsets, these hacks don't get done. You should probably spend about 10+ years hacking Halo before you try to correct me or pass of knowledge to me that I DONT know.

I never said it was impossible. Those hacks involve memory editing amongst other things. It took 7 years to get that working. Just because I can put AI in multiplayer map in retail and PC platform Halo games, doesn't mean that it can done legit through in-game tools. All those AI hacks and crap you see, required a COMPUTER to pull off.
