  1. Are you kidding me? I saw more emotion from a Moa on Reach, than Master Chief throughout the entire series! Talk about bland, even the ending to halo 4 had little to no emotion. it was all one sided with Cortana. Halo 3 at the time did play great, but it wasn't until going back to earlier Halo's and halo Reach that we actually saw how slow and sluggish the gameplay really was. Halo 3 suffered from a lot of the same issues Halo 2 did in terms of geometry and repetitive feelings in the levels. Halo Reach beats it hands down. The environment were more varied and more open ended. AA's are just equipment, with more than one singular use. Reach also allowed players to choose the weapon they were most comfortable with in multiplayer, rather than always being at a disadvantage cause your not one of those OMFGIMSUCHAHARCOREPROCAUSEIOWNWITHABATTLERIFLEORDMRANDTHATSALLICANDO person. For the first time, players had to out think their opponent cause players were put on a more even battle field due to being able to choose their starting most skilled with weapon. You can argue that all you want, but if your really so pro, why do you need your opponent to start with the same weapon as you, if you clearly have the advantage cause your better with it? Also Halo Reach's campaign felt a lot longer than Halo 3's. It had a much better story telling aspect. I don't see why people cannot appreciate the story. Sure it was dark and fated, but that's the point. To show how Reach fell. What were you expecting? And Johnson's death being emotional? Please.... Watching Kat get shot in the head and showing her fall as they grab her in slow motion, was much more emotional. Guess your too young to appreciate the subtle things like that. I guess screaming is what you call emotional. Oh and about vehicles? More? Please, don't try to count the Elephant. You couldn't drive it. Reach had 1 less vehicle...Hardly able to boast it having much more. 1 does not make or break. Halo 3: Warthog, Wraith, Mongoose, Ghost, Scorpion, Prowler, Chopper, Hornet, Banshee Halo Reach: Warthog, Wraith, Mongoose, Ghost, Scorpion, Revenant, Falcon. Banshee Overall halo Reach for me was a better game and a much better story telling experience.
  2. For me both versions of Firefight were well built and reflected a solid variation based on the title. That being said, I find that the only thing that really bothers me about Reach Firefight, is the infinite lives.

  4. Unfortunatly I don't see how it will be possible to allow players to download an update when the console has no way of detecting the game in the tray, or it's relevant save/installed data on the system. Anytime an update for a game is available in the past for all halo titles, you arent able to download it directly from the markletplace. It's only available in-game. Besides, allowing ANYONE with or without the game the chance to download a patch file like that and store it locally on the HDD is a big risk! Anytime a patch comes down, it patches files internally then encrypts it. Imagine modders or hackers getting their hands on complete in tact compress patch files from the HDD! And if that isn't enough, the patch file likely also has the decryption and resigning keys for the XEX and dependent files.
  5. She aint 21, so unless her family and everyone else is low on morals, she won't be drinking. I don't care what kind of event it is, I wouldn't allow my kids to drink under the age of 21. Hell my ex wife was 20 when we got hitched, and I didn't even let her drink!
  6. Sorry to hear about this. Good luck?
  7. For remastered maps, I don't think the particular title matters much. Every title has had a few maps make a comeback. But for the purpose of this poll, I'll stick to an actual new map to halo 2 that should be remastered. COLOSSUS! Colossus was a fantastic symmetrical map. It was medium sized and had 3 different tiers of platforms to wage war from. All areas were easily accessible on foot, and allowed every single game-type to be played upon flawlessly. Not many maps can boast such a well rounded design and smooth playable game-type variation. If this map were to be remade, the only changes should be done to the actual Forerunner architecture. The layout is perfect as is, but the hallways door frames, roof beams, etc would need to be updated to match the now current Forerunner Technology feel. Another awesome thing about this map, is that even if you factored in some kind of Spartan ability or AA such as Jetpack or Sprint, the map would still be a damn well done layout that could support those features without hindering it's quality or game-type support. But I do want to add that yes, a snow/ice level would be nice, and I think a great map from CE's past that deserves a remake is Icefields.
