  1. Radar is fine if kill times are a little longer, like old halos. Also I find it amusing you folks complain bout motion sensor and like a thing as wall hack.... You shouldn't be allowed to voice an opinion really.
  2. Pcs raw power will always be better yes, but a new gen console with peak specs INCLUDING small overhead OS and notoriously optimized code can easily beat the somewhat more powerful rig. I'd say next Xbox will rule supreme for a couple of years given the devs find it easy to handle.
  3. Op is 100% right about multiplayer. Couldn't be said more clearly and plain than that. Go back to Reach mp r a day and you'll see he's spot on.
  4. I would shoot the guy who thought wall hack would be a good idea in mp.
  5. Graphics and game engine seems pretty slick, everything else I'd flush. Matchmakings horrendous. Back to Reach. Better (yeah, it really sounds strange that lol) No betray and invicibility is ******* stupid.
  6. Forge Slayer, with plain vanilla slayer on forge maps only. No ****** TU. No slayer pro, no elite slayer, no dmrs slayer JUST plain old 4 on 4 TEAM SLAYER with Ar/pistol starts 24/7 Also tone down on all narrow, low roof indoor mlg style we-cant-use-jetpack-so-noone-else-should-be-able-either maps tnx. And 343; if you'd put up this playlist 3 years ago Halo would still be no 1 on xbl. I KNOW THIS. As for now, tomorrow will be fine. Tnx Carbines and power weapons on maps like always of course. Loadouts in like current vanilla slayer. The plain stuff EVERYONE wants to play. And no bull**** in game maps. Ever. (OK Powerhouse will be missed, but for the sake of things it has to go too). Thinking of it. Why doesn't Halo do a "Nuketown" and run a map like Asylum or The Cage with 4on4 vanilla slayer 24/7? I would stay in such a playlist for hours and hours. I just know it.
  7. Reach is funnier and way better. Especially vanilla Reach. I've gone back. Now give me a plain slayer playlist with outdoor forge maps only and I'll be pleased beyond all. If u go back for day you really realize how fun and good Reach actually is....
  8. I suggest u take a break for a day from Halo 4 and boot up Reach again. The old vanilla multiplayer becomes like a breeze of fresh air. I've played for two days now. So much more fun than Halo 4. I'm baffled how good Reach feels in comparison.
  9. Read my new playlist suggestion topic. Its what the majority wants (and have wanted since the community forge playlist). I know this for sure seeing how all votes goes for years in the regular TS playlist.
  10. Jetpack needs a buff even more. Its completely worthless now. Only wallhack and shield works.
  11. All the casuals where scared off multiplayer first week. Thank the carbine-oriented gameplay, and the over-competitive halo veterans for that. As some of my friends pulled off dmr-fests with scores like 20-3 and similar I saw it coming for sure. How 343 could miss out such a thing is beyond comprehension.
  12. Being "rectangular" and having sides staying in place for most of the time is a very underestimated plus with Valhalla. Why are so many maps built like racing tracks?????! Its beyond me.

  14. I played some Reach today. It was refreshing to be able to fly with the jetpack. Everything seemed slow compared h4, but it was was also much more fun..... We completely owned a team of ALers in one of the matches lol
  15. Swordbase alone made me stop playing Reach. If Bungie would have added a forge only playlist, I still would be playing Reach. I don't particulaly like the armor abilities, but if in, I prefer abilities with some substance, like those of Reach. Perhaps I should boot it up and check out pops. If higher or similar count as Halo4 I might just go back to that game instead.
  16. I welcome the esthetics, but they made a turd of the game anyway. Throw out everything, bring back 100% Halo 3 rules and setup with this new engine. It would be the best Halo ever made. Simple as that.

    I miss the maps and mechanics of Halo 3 multiplayer. Only a little faster movement was missing, but we have this in the Halo4 engine. It's sad they ****** up spawns, weapon balance like they did. And all this customisation, ordonance and perk syste just throws everything off. It's like they made the perfect Halo 3 and then just wasted it. A pity.
  18. The game probably already does it, but 343 should give everyone an option to FORCE it. On the other hand functions as "player joined" and host migration might ruin whatever lobby you manage to get. Sometimes within a match. But I would like it implemented anyway. Mw2 had the best option for this, as you can actually SEE what ping its searching for and also restart the search at any raised level. That's even better than "local search" imo.
  19. I'd say NO, there's no limit. But 343 does this to keep players count up as much as possible in playlists whilst keeping a balance to variation. This to keep connects as good as possible for players at all times.
  20. I suggest you read up on peer-to-peer online gaming, TCP/IP communication and infrastructure. Then you realize this thread comments are hilariously stupid (Final Scentence's post above excluded). End of story. So, YES I lag on Halo4 online. Just about everyone does with a population count as low as is now. Distance to host equals lag. Long distance equals MORE, no matter WHAT bandwidth, good local lan/close area connect, or provider infrastucture you have, or are traveling through (which in case of sub par, only could worsen things, lik FS explained above). OK. Now go get more players into matchmaking. Preferably on a dispersed global scale. Then you'll "solve lag issues".
  21. Atleast H4 isn't broken by default, like Bo2. Let me just say spawns are ******* horrible in that game. Also movement is too fast, which in turn makes the game play completely chaotic (think all maps play like Nuke town). In many ways Bo2 is a more ****** up game than H4 actually. So, there's two broken games for holiday, how about that??? At least I got Wordfeud on the pad.....
  22. Don't know, but I'm certain they lose customers by not having a volume setup. More people than ever use headsets as they play, and many has a special game rig with a super quick monitor and therefore take the sound signal to headset straight out of the Xbox. This means a fixed set volume if your not having a Turtle Beach type of headset or Xbox compatible one. I use the Fatality headset. It has a volume slider on cable. Many doesn't.
