    Just boot that old slow dog called Halo3 and play some matchmaking and you KNOW Halo4 is better In almost every way really.

    All I will say now is ADAPT. Games good. Real good actually. Instead of spending your last days on XBox 360 whining bs nostalgica you should be playing the game and enjoying the ride. Thats all.

    BTW Halo4 waaay more competitive than Halo3. A little more random, since drops, but overall more competitive because of gameplay speed. I have two friends that always owned in Halo3 (completely sick with BR), and they STILL own in Halo4. In fact all guys I know playing are doing just about the same skillwise comparably as they did in Halo3 actually. All are better overall, but the guys on top are still the same as H3 with my buds.

    Halo4 is WAY better than Halo3. 4 is Halo on nitro, faster, a little different - but very much Halo. 3 is an old slow turd in comparison. BTW I played some customs today. Most fun EVER in a Halo game. We played 'Reach forge' remakes which were totally awesome. I recommend you all to download maps Stranded (Cage remake), Ascension V.FI ('Pinnacle'), and Asylum (Asylum remake). They all totally ROCKS!! Kudos to the map makers! When is a Forge Infinity Slayer playlist up 343?? We want. Now!

    I think Frank was quite right, actually. They should encourage clan fights more instead imo. Perhaps put up an in-game/onsite ladder of some sorts, and do like seasons on their site. That'll be cooler.

    Good teams always try to lock opposition down. That, and reading tactics and individual skill/role of opponents is key. Best mindset for a beginner is "never rush in", unless you know you'll handle it

    I think the shorter match times suits the game, since overall tempo is way upped. I also bet the major part of matches you guys found short was slanted like hell.

    Halo3 is slow and jerky. A dino. Who wants to play that old game for real? And Black Ops 2 is so technically bad I almost think you'd win a case of fraud against Activision in civil court on it.... Halo4 stands waaaaay above the competition.

    I know when beaten by a better more skilled and clever team. Im never out of clue to what happens and why in a match. We often chat about it as it happens (were not beaten too often with full party assembled tho). I don't need a pathetic rank to tell. It's ******* obvious most if the times.

    Halo4 is where it is at for now. Don't fool yourself. This game has about one year left until we see another release (on the new XBox). We have the option to make that period a great party on Halo4, or a sad state of moaning bull****. Let's enjoy the ride!

    Let me answer this clearly. Yes - Halo4 is - all things considered - a better game than Halo3. In fact the more I play lately, the more I realize how incredibly much 343i respected Halo3 when they did this new game.

    Halo3 MP is pretty good, but Halo 4 smokes it on gfx and core engine supremacy. Don't kid yourselfs with bs nostalgica. People dropping out are the casuals. They couldn't stand Halo3 MP either, but at least the casuals of 2007 had some balls in them.

    There was almost 60k online today at Euro primetime. Pretty good. People should tire of crap COD excuse Bo2, so that's pretty natural. Halo's where it's at. Always were - always will be. And you ******* know it

    H4 on par with H3 for competitiveness. If not MORE competitive. Mainly because of upped tempo and movement.

    So do I. Haven't seen a map in from the non-green forge map yet (forgot name). Also I think Ravine is supercool. Agree Asylum, Cage and Pinnacle was best maps of Reach, Paulic. They're waaaay above the rest of Reach. Powerhouse was cool too, thinking of it. Halo4 maps 100 times better in every way.

    My Halo3 favo combo was ODST helmet, Mark V shoulders and EOD chest. Complete badass look. Sometimes switched to Hayabusa/sword chest too

    Op. You're half right. Games stunning, but lacks in balance parts. New playlists and rank system may help, but I can't say I'm noticing s bigger influx of gamers because of new lists, just a wider spread of already thin player base. But let's see what'll happen I think 343/Microsoft should give all map packs for free. This would be a good investment for the 720 and coming Halos, and also draw back a lot of players to get things going again.
