  1. I Just want the helmet. I wanna look like a unicorn.. Would look great with my pink and yellow armor.
  2. I actually pick the dumbest armor combo I can. I know that's weird. But I just don't really care. My Spartan is Pink and Yellow. With a cowboy emblem. I took the pirate emblem and put the cowboy hat on it. I just think it's funny how weird I can make my Spartan look.
  3. So, I went back to the settings. There is way to turn off the last man waypoint. I'm going to go ahead and press forward with the map and gametype. Hope it turns out good. I'll keep you all posted!
  4. Yeah, it would be. I really hope they can find a way to incorporate it into the next Halo. I want to make my own Spartan Ops missions!
  5. Did no one have stickies? Or any power weapon? Heck shooting it with a DMR would eventually blow it it.
  6. Time differences suck. I wanna try out your map but you're never on when I am! I have a custom gametype I wanna try out to. It's a variation of flood. The flood have the Mantis and the humans don't. The humans have to try to take down the flood with whatever weapons they can find. The map looks like a city. It's hard to describe. But it's a lot of fun.
  7. I actually figured out a way around it. Instead of just playing the weapons. I placed initial ordinance drops. So problem solved. Thanks for the help though!
  8. Ok. So here's the deal. I forged a map for a variation of Flood. I put down weapons for the humans to use. However, when I go to play the map using my variation of Flood the weapons aren't there. If I use the same map but on the slayer gametype everything shows up and works great. What could be going on? Any suggestions?
  9. Overall what are you thoughts on the Shotguns? Do you consistently use them?
  10. Is there a way to delay spawning of one team? So the defenders can easily capture them?
  11. Best part of working closing shifts at an office supply store... Running around like your in Mission Impossible. xD

I was looking for you so I could tell you how much of a success it was!

  12. It is a lot harder to do that in this. Like the it was stated before the Spawn system stops that from happening. I don't know how many times you have a team held down at their base, and all of the sudden the secondary spawn points kick into effect and it throws everything off balance.
  13. I'm sure they'll release some Big Team Objective playlists. I hope they bring back Big Team Battle. Which would include Big Team Slayer, Big Team CTF, and Big Team Dominion. Give them time. The game is been out for under a month. And they're still judging what gametypes people want.
  14. Alright. I know not everyone will agree with me on this thread. So all I ask is that you refrain from flaming and personal attacks. I've been an avid Halo fan since the very first Halo. I've played them all, even though waypoint doesn't show that I've played Reach, that's kind of weird. Anyway. In previous games one person could change the tide of a game with a shotgun. In Halo 4, I don't really see that anymore. There will always be those few people that will wait behind corners with them. But for the most part, that rarely happens anymore. It seems like in Halo 4 the combat style is very different. The majority of players start of with a BR or DMR, which gives people the ability to take down a shotgun wielder form a distance. In the previous Halo games everyone started with an AR until you could find a long range weapon. I think that forced people to get up close and personal with the person they were attacking, which made close quarter weapons much more useful. I know they've integrated a few new shotgun type weapons in this game, the scatter shot and bolt shot to be exact. I have only been killed by the scattershot a few times and the bolt shot a handful of times. And to be honest I don't ever remember being killed by the UNSC shotgun. I'm sure I have, but I just don't remember it. Now this thread is based on my experience playing the game. I tend to play Big Team Battle, Slayer, Capture the Flag, and Oddball. And again rarely see shotgun type weapons. Except for while playing Oddball, and even then the weapons aren't very effective. I'm curious if others have had the same experience as I have. Again I know a lot people don't agree with this. And topics like this can get very heated. Please be respectful. If you disagree with me, I understand but can you elaborate as to why. I know every person seems to have a different experience when playing the game.
  15. Yeah. We were actually going to make something like that for Griffball. Just so we have a different map to play on. But you could edit it for that.
  16. You might be able to do something with just the mantis on the Grifball court, the main map is Erosion I think. Just Forge some scenery in there. It would be a really fast paced game. If that's what you're looking for. Or you could just make a giant floating platform on a map, and go from there.
  17. I've actually been trying to do the same thing. I was attempting to recreate D-Day from Halo 3. But I can't using Dominion.
  18. You were expecting it at launch? I actually never thought of it until this post.
  19. Yeah. Maybe on... yeah. I can't think of anything else. Would any of the non matchmaking maps work? I'm not too familiar with them.
  20. If they were to leave the tank as it was in the past halo games. And kept all the Armor Abilities and options for load outs. It would even itself out. When people are able to spawn with Plasma Pistols and Plasma grenade and the tank is as weak as it is. It just dies to fast.
  21. You do make some good points. But I must respectfully disagree with you on some point. I myself have been in games with my friends where we do coordinate attacks on major power vehicles or people with major power weapons. On Exile when the tank spawns and the other team snags it. We'll find a way to take it down as a team. Most players will ignore you. Which is why the majority of the time I don't expect them to play using teamwork. If they do, great, if not it's not a big deal to me. I just feel that when you're put in a team slayer, you should operate as a team. It would be like being put on a sports team, and not using teamwork. That maybe a poor example, but I hope it gets my point across. I respect your thoughts, but I disagree on those points.
