  1. Hey everybody! I decided to make this thread to see what peoples' opinions are on the Storm Rifle. Do you love it? Do you hate it? Personally, it is my favorite gun in the game besides the Battle Rifle. If the AR and the Suppressor had a baby, it would be the Storm Rifle. It fills the gap between those two guns, giving it a faster firing speed than the AR, but more accuracy than the Suppressor. According to a poll on Halo Nation, it is actually people's least favorite primary weapon. Then again, after reading a thread on here, it seems quite a few people actually like the weapon. So the question remains, what do you think about it?
  2. I'm still a firm believer that the boltshot should only be able to take down a person's shields at close range. While that seems like it'd make it UP, I also believe that the cooldown after shooting should be quicker, allowing you to either melee or get the headshot quicker. Essentialy, it would become a plasma pistol capable of headshots, but only at close range.
  3. I'd like to see the BR become a 4 shot kill on the last shot of the 4th burst. That way it'd still be around a 5 shot kill at range, a 4 shot kill up close. The only issue I see with that is trying to balance the new and improved BR with the Carbine and automatic weapons up close.
  4. We are currently on Episode 4. The achievement is in Episode 5. Next week we should be able to get the achievement.
  5. I am completely with you. So far, spartan ops has pretty much been firefight with a bit of a storyline. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, it just gets a little repetitive after a while...
  6. Seeing Master Chief's eyes didn't really bother me at all. I had an image in my head of what I thought he'd look like, and seeing his eyes didn't really change it. Now for the fact that you had to beat the entire campaign on legendary to see just his eyes is a little dissapointing. Personally, the way I see it, you beat the game on legendary for some achievements, and see Master Chief's eyes as a little side bonus. Not saying I like that, but its better than having no legendary ending like Reach.
  7. Loadout Weapons: Storm Rifle/Battle Rifle Power Weapons: Shotgun/Gravity Hammer/ Beam Rifle/ Binary Rifle... maybe just all the power weapons...
  8. At first I thought forge in Halo 4 was the best in the series so far. Magnets? Duplicating? Wow! Then, however, I noticed an issue I just can't seem to shake off. The size of the maps. Not even on the grassy part of Ravine can you make a Blood Gulch or Hemorrhage type map. Sure, you can add additional areas to maps by laying down blocks, but it just doesn't look natural. The largest scale map I see coming out of forge would have a couple ghosts, some mongoose, maybe a warthog or two. I don't see any huge maps filled with wraiths, banshees and mantises providing some crazy, hectic fun. While I usually never forge maps of that size, I have played on some that were insanely fun. Despite the flaws I've listed above, however, I've found forge to be much more efficient for creating smaller maps. Making a map in the crack on Ravine, to making a map in the lagoon on Erosion can be made quite a lot easier with the use of magnets, duplicating, etc. Overall, forge was a disapointment for some, a welcome feature for others. P.S- Why don't we have any golf clubs?
  9. Now its not necessarily the bloom or damage of the DMR that bugs me, its the range at which the reticule turns red. While the BR's reticule stays red only at close to slightly medium distances, the DMR stays red from close to long ranges. You may argue that the BR is better at close range, which is mostly true, but the sad truth is that the DMR performs much more effectively at many more ranges. The way I see it is that its not a damage or a bloom issue, its more of a versatility issue, which again relates back to the distance at which the reticule turns red.
