Honestly, so called "professionals" play on much lower sensitivities like 3 or 4.

Moderators at Halo Waypoint are dictators.
JetEyeNight replied to JetEyeNight's topic in General Discussion
Yes, this forum is way better. I didn't use any explicit language or images. Ok, I believe I found out why my account was temporarily suspended at HaloWaypoint.com. I made a post saying "Fix the lag or I'm done with this game." In the body of the of the post is said: "I'm sick and tired of lagging every single game. I'm in Minneapolis, MN. Why does matchmaking feel the need to match me with MEXICANS???? Can we please get region lock or some way to only search for games with players in a near vicinity? I'm tired of my shots not counting, I'm tired of my plasma pistol being 100% ineffective because of lag, tired of getting 5 shot by a DMR spammer before I even know I'm being shot. Tired of being killed by an AR user before I even know I'm being shot. Tired of the audio lag because of lag. How the hell am I supposed to dodge a ghost when I can't see or hear them coming??" The moderator "Toa Freak" the Superintendent erased my post and replaced it with: "This post has been edited by a moderator. Please do not post comments that are discriminatory in nature." "Locked due to an inappropriate opening post." Then my account was suspended. How was it inappropriate?? How could anyone find this discriminatory in any way? I don't see how you could be offended by this. My post was about lag and having laggy games due to being matched with people so far away in Mexico. My post had nothing to do with racism or discrmination. I don't hate Mexicans and wouldn't playing with them if they were in my state or a state close by. The issue is LAG! Every single game I'm matched with people in Mexico the game is a LAG-FEST (you can figure out their location by checking out their profile in the xbox live guide). Every time I'm experiencing this sort of lag I'm like, "Gee I must be playing with Mexicans", I check their profile and guess what, their from Mexico! I could have just as easily said "Stop matching me with Canadians!" if I was being matched with Canadians. I could have just as easily said "Stop matching me with the Brittish!" if I was having problems being matched with the Brittish. But I'm not matched with any foreign country except Mexico 99% of the time. I'm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There is no reason to match me with Mexcans so often. Instead of taking a moment to realize what I was trying to say, they were blinded by political correctness and chose to label my post as discrminitory. SMH -
All I did was post my negative opinions about the Halo 4 matchmaking and I was suspended for a week from their forums. I did not break any forum rules. I just laid out a solid argument and people agreed with me, so apparently they didn't like seeing that and I was suspended. No explanation was given.

The playlist is far far far too laggy for me to have any fun
-
No, if they were added they would only be visible in Halo Waypoint.
-
I like the idea of free stuff, but it just promotes too much boosting. The winner should be random and the qualifier should be having to play X number of games in the playlist, not the one with the most points.
-
Yeah, that's better than what I encountered... I was 25-6 or something like that and the guy who went 25-26 won.

Should 343 introduce a punishment for quitting during a game??
JetEyeNight replied to ProudDrunkIrish's topic in Halo 4
I regularily quit games because I regularily encounter lag. Penalizing me because this game is a lag POS is not fair... All I want is to find playable games. -
Make sure you have you spartan rmodel set to "Male". I accidentally had mine set to "Female" for a while for some reason. This could explain it.

JetEyeNight replied to ProudDrunkIrish's topic in Halo 4
A quit penalty will never stop people from quitting. The penalties would not and could not be severe enough to stop people from quitting. If they were too severe, people wouldn't play the game at all. Less people playing is not the answer. The entire purpose the JIP system was implemented in Halo 4 was to replace people who want / need to quit. If the game is too laggy to play, I'm not going to suffer through it. Don't tell me lag isn't common. If my bullets are not registering and if I can't kill anyone I'm not going to suffer through it. I'm not helping the team at all by just dying constantly. All I'm doing is contributing kills to the enemy. You're better off if I quit. How am I helping you by sticking around? You just want me to stick around as a decoy. True story. If i'm not having fun, I'm not going to suffer through it. It's a GAME, the point is to HAVE FUN. If I'm not HAVING FUN, I'm NOT going to suffer through it. This is why most people quit. If you can't handle the facts of the game, I'd suggest you find another game. They will not be banning anyone for quitting, they will not be penalizing anyone for quitting in any way. It's a GAME. They don't want a dwindling population. -
Nope 1 vs 1 is a horrible idea. Nothing but boosters and campers. If you win a game because I had to come to you 10 times because you were camping in a corner, how does that prove anything or make you better than me? It's boring boring boring.

JetEyeNight replied to ProudDrunkIrish's topic in Halo 4
Take as much experience as you want, it won't stop me from quitting. A ban was implemented in reach, which was a total failure. Treyarch tried the same thing, and it was also a failure. Putting in a penalty doesn't stop quitters, just like having laws doesn't stop criminals from breaking them. People will do exactly what they want to do. You would have to have very very strict penalties for it to have any effect whatsoever. All these penalties would do is hurt the playing population because people who feel there reason for quitting is legitimate and if they aren't allowed to quit without penalty, they just won't play the game. -
Upcoming Update Wishlist: How Important is the update to you?
JetEyeNight replied to SatanicBagels's topic in Halo 4
Unfortunately having seperate ranked and social playlists wouldn't stop d-bags from going into ranked playlists so they can pad their stats.. -
Cover your teammates. My point is that the teams overall k/d that matters, not personal k/d. You going 20-10 doesn't matter if your teammates go all 10-15. If your teammates are always so terrible, try to help them out with cover to mitigate how terrible they are. You might go 15-12, but it won't be such a blowout.
-
Meh, cool in concept, poor in implementation. They looked like crap in game.
-
Many people just quit out if they don't get the gametype they want. Individual playlists are better than a hog podge.
-
Perhaps instead of hiding in a corner with your sniper rifle you could actually cover your teammates? If you're teammates are running to the middle and dying, maybe you could follow them and provide cover instead of worrying about your k/d?

I think the hardlight sheild is more useful to use, but also less frustrating to play against. You can move while using it to get to a safe area. You have a chance to get away instead of the enemy just waiting you out. It's also less frustrating to play against. It takes skill to use.
-
I completely agree. I use it for mobility, not to evade.
-
I find these types of challenges are great, and only promote weapon diversity. I find it more challenging to use a Suppresor or Assault Rifle, than a DMR or BR. Seriously, the bullet magnetism on the DMR is insane! It's so easy to use. Anyone who actually think it takes skill to use the DMR is kidding themselves.

This is the fallacy of compacency. Things can always be improved upon even if they aren't broken. However I do agree that FFA should definitely be included.

I was one of the lucky people who got the maps for free, was told by xbox support that they wouldn't be taken away because it's on them for screwing up. However when I went into Crimson playlist it said i didn't have the required content. When I went to redownload them, they tried charging 800 MSP.

Please, PLEASE block invisibility in Big Team Battle!
JetEyeNight replied to JetEyeNight's topic in Halo 4
I knew that! But when I read this "It is very easy to locate someone with invisibility by the jamming effect that it makes on the radar." it made it sound like there was a way to counteract the invisibility users radar jammer. I read it wrong. I'll have to pay more attention to the invisibility user's radar jamming to triangulate. -

JetEyeNight replied to JetEyeNight's topic in Halo 4
Great tips, but that's not the issue that I'm facing. I'm facing dull opponents who lose regardless who refuse to move the game along. When I try moving the game along they just camp with their invisibility and never come out of hiding. How does one "Jam" the the effect it makes on the radar? Seriously, I'm ignorant to what you're speaking of.
